“User friendly & quick for all”

Pros

it's incredibly user-friendly and simple enough that even staff who aren't comfortable with technology can use it without issues. I also appreciate how quick and easy the reporting is, just one click and I can retrieve my data almost instantly.

Cons

I am pleased with all of Calamari's features. It's very simple and teaching colleagues to use it is quick and simple. At this point, I don't really have any complaints to raise.

“Tracks leave & syncs with Outlook”

Pros

I am fond of the way it tracks both leave and sick days and I appreciate how it syncs with my Outlook calendar.

Cons

Up to now, I haven't run into anything about it that I don't like

I love how it makes everything so simple. Choosing it was the easiest decision we ever made.

its missing shift scheduling functionality that would really help our operations.

“Slack integration helps but poor admin”

Pros

This integrates with Slack and it makes tracking who's out on leave so much easier for our whole team to stay in the loop.

The admin interface could be more user-friendly and easy to use.

Pros

Managing time off requests and checking everyone's schedules is simple, both for me and when I'm showing new team members how it works. The interface feels clean and uncluttered which makes navigation really smooth.

Cons

I didn't explore every feature as a regular user, so there wasn't much that bothered me about it. Could probably use a mobile app though.

“Easy tracking and approvals”

Pros

The time-off tracking is very easy, I can quickly calculate my vacation days, sick leave or any other absence in just a few clicks. Getting supervisor approval happens seamlessly through there system which saves me tons of time compared to our old paper process.

Cons

Only thing I can think of is that there might be room for more advanced reporting features but honestly I'm pretty satisfied with how simple everything is right now.

interface is easy and interactive so even someone not tech-savvy like me feels completely at ease.

“Made my job easier”

Pros

Handling compliance has become so much easier for me. I no longer have to keep track of all those labour-law requirements because everything is bundled into a single app. The amount of customization is impressive , we even created custom leave types like Anniversary Vacay Days and it was easy to set up. Integrations with Google Calendar and Slack work really well so I can glance at critical info without signing in. everything lives in one virtual spot now which means I don't have to dig through paper records to confirm PTOs anymore.

Cons

Honestly I can't think of any drawbacks , it really changed my life ,)

“Handy calendar but reports need work”

Pros

I find Calamari's calendar really handy for checking who's working from the office, who's traveling and who's on leave. We also rely on it to monitor bookings for conference rooms and company vehicles.

Cons

We appreciate that the tool can generate reports to monitor staff absences but the reporting capabilities feel limited compared with what we'd like. For example, when sales reps visit clients we currently have to type the client name into the "reasons" field it would be much more convenient if that field could offer a dropdown populated from our customer list.

“Smooth and reliable tool”

Pros

Overall I'm finding the platform incredibly easy and reliable for tracking all our information. every tool is interactive and easy to use and my team really likes using the clock-in/clock-out system during the workday.

Cons

It would be really helpful if I could sync it with our G Suite account. Since we use G Suite for calendars, having birthdays and annual leave automatically pushed or flagged in Google Calendar would make planning and reminders much easier for our team.

“Flexible for all leave types”

Pros

We've found the software to be highly flexible in tracking all kinds of leave. Because our team includes people at many different levels who are entitled to different types of time off, it was able to cope with all those varying entitlements without a hitch. On top of that we also record our sales managers' business travel inside the platform which has been genuinely helpful for keeping their time and trips organized.

Cons

the app is generally easy but the interface could be made more easy for people who aren't comfortable with computers. It isn't always obvious how much time they have left versus what has already been scheduled so clearer labeling or a simpler display of remaining versus booked time would help avoid confusion for less tech-savvy staff.

“Flexible for global teams”

Pros

I find it very interactive and highly configurable which makes it great for our teams spread across different countries.

Cons

One issue is the search feature, it only lets me look up employees by their first name and won't find them by any other name.

I love everything from the website itself to how simple it is to do business it's fantastic.

Cons

To be honest I can't think of any downsides it fits our company's needs perfectly and everything works great.

“Frees up management time”

I have noticed that It now takes care of the whole leaves and sick-days routine for our team which has freed up a lot of management time. Also, by automating the request and approval workflow, we were able to remove much of the manual human touch from the process.

Cons

There are a few things I think could be improved. The user experience can be a bit inconsistent and getting it to sync with Google Workspace still involves some manual steps. even so, I personally find this product to be miles ahead of the competitors we've tested.

“best for global teams!”

Pros

Calamari is very simple to use on both fronts. I appreciated the free trial because it let me explore the system independently and confirm whether it matched our company's needs. One feature I really rely on is being able to set country-specific holidays since my team works across borders. The way it carries over leave balances and calculates pro-rated entitlements is spot-on. Their support team has also been friendly and prompt in responding to all my questions. Honestly I'm very fond of this app!

Cons

It's not a major problem though I wish support had dedicated representatives across multiple time zones so someone is available when my team needs them.

Pros

Getting the integration up and running was simple and the support team has been extremely professional , they handled most of my requests and in the end we managed to tailor it to our complex business needs.

It was easy to install and really simple for me to use.

I love the integrations , being able to manage my team in Slack through it really makes my life easier and it's awesome.

The website interface confused me at times, I found myself getting lost a couple of times while trying to use it.

I am really impressed with their customer support, setting it up was easy and interactive and I can wholeheartedly recommend it.

I would really appreciate an admin-facing table that instantly displays each employee's remaining vacation days since at the moment that data feels buried and is more difficult to find than it ought to be.

It is a user friendly software. Employees all information is well managed by this software to evaluate their progress and companys stability.
