Personally, I'd prefer having my candidate list anchored to one side with each person's status visible on the other side, similar to how Outlook displays emails so I could scan progress without switching screens. I have sent numerous emails and follow-ups about a few specific issues I needed assistance with and when I finally get a reply it is often obvious they either didn't read my question closely or they simply don't care enough to provide real help. Dealing with them has become incredibly frustrating and has cost me a lot of time that could have been spent on more productive tasks. There isn't a phone number to call, email is the only channel available which makes getting timely support even harder. Since I'm the one paying for this service, I expected better responsiveness but it feels like they were focused on making the sale, promising everything and then largely ignoring customers after sign-up.

Occasionally even minor county searches drag on for weeks before the results come back and that has caused me a lot of frustration. I work with people who are receiving time-sensitive offers and because of the delays I've had situations where candidates ended up losing opportunities because the background check wasn't completed in time. Another frustrating issue is that the SSN trace sometimes flags or suspends a candidate incorrectly, through no fault of theirs and trying to get support to resolve those suspensions has been a real headache because it's so hard to reach someone who can fix it quickly.

Having tried other background-check services, this has been my best experience to date. I also love that it integrates with Paylocity and implementation was smooth. Overall it makes our process effortless and very easy to manage.

It would be great to have a dedicated account manager. Right now, I have to open a ticket or submit a query whenever something comes up which feels kind of inconvenient. Having someone live or even a smart bot, to help instantly would be much better.
