Pros
it keeps us incredibly organized. Switching from paper to this software has streamlined our processes to the point where we could potentially eliminate a staff member.
Cons
I wish ClockShark tracked location before our techs started work, as it would help to see where they are and how far from the site they are. But this is easily solved with a phone call.

It does not work on the phones of two of my staff members. The timesheet format is not as good on a phone as it is on my desktop, but it is not a major issue.

Cons
We had some integration trouble, and it does not automatically add hours on export to Xero, I have to manually accept hours.

“Surprisingly simple and comprehensive
Pros
I really appreciate how simple this time tracking software is to use. The onboarding was surprisingly quick and I found it to be the most comprehensive solution I've tried so far. Everything feels so simple which makes daily use easy.
Cons

“Outstanding tracking and customer service
Pros
The GPS tracking works like leaving a trail and it actually follows where employees go throughout their shift, not just when they clock in and out. Haven't found any other app that does this and it's become one of my favorite features. Customer service is outstanding too; they'll answer your questions through chat in just a few minutes.
Cons
I wish they'd expand the software to include more project management features so I could just use one app. Otherwise, it's a great company.

“Impressive features & proactive support
Pros
Variety of clock-in methods really impressed me & GPS tracking and photo capture through KioskClock effectively prevent buddy punching. I appreciate that employees can view their timesheets throughout the week which eliminates those annoying disputes about incorrect hours later. Customer support has been outstanding even during our trial period. Multiple team members proactively reached out to address my questions and when I called Hans today about a minor QuickBooks issue, he answered directly without any automated systems which is rare these days. Both the app and website are incredibly user-friendly.
Cons
I'd really like to see a "hard" clock-in feature where if someone clocks in within a certain window, it automatically adjusts to 7:00am. Right now my employees are clocking in when they arrive at the job site, but they sit in there cars for a while before actually starting work. I've told them to clock in closer to 7am but you know how that goes. I end up manually adjusting 10-15+ employees who clock in at 6:30 or 6:45 back to 7:00am. Hopefully this will sort itself out eventually.

“Smooth adoption with minor tweaks
Pros
Our service techs are adapting well to the new workflow and honestly, it's pretty easy for them to pick up. Training sessions went smoothly without any major hiccups. The reports this system generates are really helpful for our needs. Preparing payroll has become so much simpler compared to what we used to deal with before. We haven't sent any reports to our payroll company yet since we're still working on that integration piece.
Cons
We could set a different default screen since all our service techs rely on the Crew Clock feature and it would be great if that could be their landing page when they log in. We'd also appreciate having separate settings for each of our shop locations. The scheduling process also needs some improvements which is why we're not using it right now.

I absolutely love how responsive the customer service team is & they really listen to feedback and implement suggestions whenever possible. The interface is user-friendly which is crucial when you need to work quickly and efficiently. The reporting features have gotten much better recently, giving tons of useful data that you can actually customize to fit your needs. Implementation was surprisingly smooth and fast. Plus, the integration with Quickbooks and other software works smoothly.
Cons
I'd personally tweak a few things to better match what we need. Honestly, ClockShark doesn't have any major downsides and it handles what we need to get done, though there are some enterprise-level requests that could fit our workflow better.

“Brilliant tracking with setup hurdles
Pros
My team downloads the app on their phones and clocks in directly from there. The geo-fencing feature is brilliant and it uses GPS to make sure people are actually at the job site when they clock in, so there's no way to cheat the system. It really helps me keep track of labor costs for each project since I can see exactly how many hours were spent where. Creating reports is simple too and I can pull up hours by project, total hours for all workers or break it down however I need.
Cons
Setting up new jobs is a trouble since there's no Google Maps integration to help with addresses and you have to type everything manually. Also, I've had reports crash on me a few times which is frustrating when your trying to pull important data.

The interface feels really interactive and user-friendly. We initially considered it for payroll timekeeping but discovered the real value lies in managing service jobs and keeping our team connected. It's completely streamlined our daily operations and saves us tons of time, plus those real-time updates help us close jobs and get invoices out much faster! Their support team is fantastic & we actually have dedicated account reps who understand our business instead of dealing with some generic call center.
Cons
The only downside is that since they're constantly adding new features, it can take a bit of time to learn all the updates and changes.

I find this program really simple to use. Being able to access it from different devices is convenient and I can clock in from my computer at the office or use my phone when I'm on the go.
Cons
Clocking out process has an extra step that I sometimes forget to complete, which can be frustrating when taking breaks.

I can track my payroll employees easily and the document manager handles pretty much all our technical requirements for smooth workflow management. The location tracking feature is incredible & I can see exactly where each employee is at any given time, which has been a game-changer for our logistics operations.
Cons
While it helps with basic payroll creation from the main dashboard, the labor cost features are pretty limited. There's no advanced accounting system which makes it almost useless for handling more complex financial tracking needs.
