“excellent new features

Pros

The recent upgrades and new features have really taken things to the next level. The reports and job costing are much better now and they work a lot smoother for us than before.

Cons

It would be great if I could assign specific rules to certain people like clock-in and clock-out questions. It would also be helpful to have more employee categories such as managers, Foremen, Crew Leads and Regular Crew.

Clockshark is built for tracking labor costs and timesheets which is perfect for big companies with a lot of employees. I find it quite convenient!

Cons

The app works well and has made human resources so much easier. It also integrates with other software which is really convenient.

This software has really made my job so much easier. Once I got the hang of it, managing employee timesheets became quick and easy.

No complaints as such. The mobile app is a lifesaver for me. It lets me do timesheets on the go, even when I'm traveling for work.

I love how the location services work and it's so convenient for handling payroll. It's also really easy to download and use across all devices.

Honestly, there's not much I can complain about. The only issue I had was forgetting to clock out at the end of the day but the auto-punch-out feature took care of it so it wasn't a big deal.

Pros

We love Clockshark. It's simplified everything. Our team in the field has no trouble managing their time, and that accurate data means we can handle payments from the office quickly and know everything is correct.

so far, I haven't found anything to dislike except maybe the cost, which feels a bit high per user.

This tool handles it all for me. I love that it tracks my breaks and lunches automatically, it makes everything so much easier

I don't have any issues with Clockshark. It's very accurate when I clock in and out and there's never any confusion about late punches.

as a manager, the biggest victory with Clockshark was how easily my team adopted it. They found it easy and actually pleasant to use.

The integration part of the program isn't the best and feedback from staff has been very little.

Now my employees can clock in and out in real-time right from the job site. No more chasing down timesheets at the end of the week!

a bit messy and not as polished as I would have liked, plus it doesn't have as many features as I hoped for.

There's no auto mode setup so I always have to manually clock in.

It's not hard to understand and the fact that it works even without a signal on mobile is a huge plus.

my team can easily clock in and out and they get reminders when they arrive at the job site (though I need to remember to add the geoFence!). They also get a reminder every morning to clock in which has been a bit of a struggle with some of them.

When creating a new job, the geofence can't be enabled by default. You need Zapier to create jobs in Clockshark but there's no way to automatically enable the geofence. That's the only issue I've had in the four years we've been using it.

“Easy timekeeping, minor hiccups

I appreciate how easy it is for our team to clock in and out of jobs. The digital system has completely eliminated confusing paperwork and time-keeping feels so much more manageable now.

Cons

One thing msising about time keeping is that I wish our team could clock in for their short breaks like those 2-10 minute ones we take throughout the day.

Clockshark is super convenient with gPs tracking and job costing features that make everything more efficient.

Its not that affordable and the integrations are quite limited to be honest. Plus, the reports aren't customizable enough.

“A manager's peace of mind

I like how simple it is to add new jobs, tasks and employees to the system. The GPS tracking feature gives me peace of mind knowing my team is clocking in at the right locations and times. Managing PTO policies and requests has become much more simple compared to our previous solution.

Cons

Sometimes when I add jobs on the desktop version, they dont show up on my employees' mobile app. Haven't noticed any other syncing issues though.

Thanks to how quick and effective it is, we can wrap up payroll in record time. It's been a real game-changer for our workflow

Found the customer service to be lacking and the app often has server issues.

I would want the support team to be a bit more responsive. also, there's sometimes a lag with gPs time tracking. But overall, it's a good tool.

I really appreciate how customizable Clockshark is and the best part is that users don't need an internet connection to clock in or out.

It could be a bit cheaper but that's the case with a lot of software these days.
