“frustrating limited testing

I'm absolutely fed up with this testing platform even though I've been using Word and Excel since they were first released I genuinely dislike every aspect of this tool. The way the Word and Excel menus are presented in their tests seems tied to whatever particular version their scoring engine expects so actions that make perfect sense to me get marked wrong. As someone who's worked as a secretary for more than thirty years, I have extensive hands-on experience across many Office versions, yet their exams keep failing me over and over and give the strong impression they're set up to fail people. For instance, when I use a drop-down menu instead of clicking an icon which is something you'd learn on certain versions, the system flags that choice as incorrect. To me this is a bogus testing system designed to trip up test takers on purpose and I really think those who run it should be ashamed of how unfair it is.

There is absolutely nothing I like about this testing platform, I can think of multiple ways to complete the required tasks but if you don't pick the single method their evaluators expect you pick, you get marked wrong. It feels like the designers are looking for one very specific action and label any reasonable alternative as "incorrect," and that makes the whole testing experience frustrating and unfair to me.

Because of the vast number of test libraries available I can assemble very different kinds of assessments to suit a variety of needs.

I'm still experimenting with the platform at the moment and I expect that after using it for a while I'll develop a clearer idea of how best to use it.

It's perfect how quickly and effortlessly I can access my own workspace ! everything is right where I need it with no delays or extra steps. And the fact that the whole system is so easy to use makes every interaction smooth and stress-free. It feels designed for efficiency without any unnecessary complexity.

So far I haven't run into any kind of problem or issue while using it.

When I use this tool I appreciate the ability to construct my own assessments focused on the specific skills I'm seeking. Also there is a broad range of question types and topics available to choose from.

Cons

What bothers me most is that I can't assign scores to the custom questions I add into the system so they can't be graded automatically.

this is a great tool for hiring selection because it helps me filter applicants, including assessing each candidate's digital skills which makes screening more effective and efficient.

for me I think the software's visual design could probably use an update to make it more attractive and engaging for users.

the customer support has been very reliable, responsive, helpful and always there when I need them. And the interface has been equally consistent; as it's simple, stable and never throws me any unexpected surprises. That kind of reliability in both support and design makes the entire experience feel dependable and smooth, day in and day out.

Pros

This HR software is extremely convenient, I got everything set up and running very quickly and easily

Cons

I feel the talent pipelining capability could be much better and needs improvements to be truly useful.

I've relied on this platform for assessments for years and only recently began using the video interview feature as part of our hiring efforts during a public health crisis as well as for DEI outreach. Learning that new capability was made very easy because of their exceptional customer support. They accommodated different learning styles, were willing to work with clients and adjusted their approach so I could adopt the feature without friction.

there was a little confusion over how long an individual question could be versus the overall test duration setting when setting up my video interviews.

For our Talent Acquisition team and hiring managers we find the scoring incredibly easy to interpret, the platform's functionality and usability truly feel like a dream. When I customize an assessment and send it to candidates, the process is fast, efficient and simple which is precisely what our team requires.

Cons

I wasn't involved when the integration took place and now that I'm the admin for our account I still haven't heard any complaints from the team about the platform. In my experience this tool is very user-friendly and consistently provides the services and data we need to hire excellent candidates who meet our standards and fit the roles well.

Pros

This tool makes distributing exams really easy. I can send tests to single or multiple candidates, set fixed deadlines, or give each person a unique link. Scores are generated automatically and reporting shows everything from overall results to per-question details which works perfectly for different assessment types.

At the moment I don't have any issues or suggestions for improvement to point out about this product.

What I really like is how the assessments feel natural to use. I rely on the Word and Excel simulations a lot because they're impressively realistic.

I'd love to see it include built-in integration with Avionte Bold so our workflow could be more feasible across systems.

For a wide range of roles, this tool works perfectly. I can create my own tests, use automatic scoring, run everything online and let candidates finish at their convenience.

can't really speak from personal use because I don't use the software myself although my colleagues on the team do rely on it.

Locating completed tests is fast and easy which saves me a lot of time.

However I thought the Customer Service tests dragged on too long and the Excel test felt much harder than those on other testing platforms.

I value the variety of options and the level of detail in results. It helps me see exactly how candidates performed.

In my experience the tests are noticeably more challenging than the software we used before and I find the dashboard clunky and not very user-friendly.

We couldn't find any drawbacks. After evaluating several other vendors, we decided this one was by far the superior choice. They went well beyond what we anticipated.
