Saves us hours, easy to use, great support

Pros

It provides great value since the man hours we save on scheduling and payroll more than cover the fees we pay. I also love that it's simple to use, works on any mobile device, the video guides are really helpful and the team are always responsive to any query.

Cons

I have to pay for multiple subscriptions to keep our separate business entities distinct and I don't receive any discount.

Convenient scheduling tool

Pros

This is an amazing scheduling tool that I find easy enough to use, offers simple reports, handles holiday management and is reasonably priced. It really makes my life easier.

Cons

The mobile app has real limitations. Its a bit complicated so I tend to stick to the desktop version. On top of that, I'd like an annual membership discount. The pricing itself is problematic because there's a big jump from the free plan that covers five users to the next paid tier and that gap ends up forcing small teams of around seven to ten people to pay for more licenses than they actually need.

Makes it simple to clock in and out

Pros

What I appreciate most about it is how smooth it makes it for employees to clock in and out. That simplicity helps me calculate their pay accurately and ensure salaries are processed on time.

Cons

I feel the subscription is worth the price I pay but I wish the management mobile app was more user-friendly especially when I need to quickly calculate or double-check someone's salary on the go.

Major flaw in the pricing structure

Pros

Our staff found the interface clear and easily readable. I received very positive feedback about both the web platform and the mobile app. Its pretty reliable overall.

Cons

I've run into a serious problem with how they price the service. The $46-per-month tier covers up to 20 users which leaves small teams like ours (we're 7-10 people) without a practical choice. It doesn't make sense to pay for 20 when we only need a handful. Its a nice product that we were willing to adopt but due to unfair pricing we've to look elsewhere.

I've found it very uncomplicated and convenient. Makes everything fast and smooth!

Cons

What annoys me is that not all accounts can see the hours total. This makes it difficult for staff to track what their total hours are. There are a few glitches when I try to select things.

Customizable software with a great support team

Pros

I find the app very easy to use. Rotas and schedules are displayed clearly, making it simple to see who's working when. It's also flexible enough to be customized for individual needs and their team have provided excellent personal support whenever we've had issues.

Cons

For our setup, I'd like an option that hooks into our payroll system, hopefully that's on the roadmap because right now handling individual staff administration can feel a bit fiddly and time-consuming at times.

Well laid-out

Pros

The app takes the stress out of organising employee rotas and what I appreciate most is its layout. The interface is tidy, user-friendly to use and everything sits where you'd expect. Because of the uncluttered design, handling shift changes is faster and noticeably less stressful. All in all, it's an excellent tool that performs its role superbly.

Cons

Not much to complain about. We've found it to be a genuine help with our everyday scheduling. Because of it, our team always knows their shifts each day so there's far less confusion about who should be where on any given day.

Smooth setup

Pros

Setting it up was not difficult and it's simple to use. I really enjoy the week-to-week copy-and-paste tool. It also makes the hours easy to see and I like the handy clock-in option.

Cons

I'm not sure how to remove the extra team I accidentally created on my account so each time I punch in it prompts me to choose which team to clock into even though there should only be a single team listed.

Transformed our operations

Pros

It has been absolutely transformative for our workflow. Having everything stored in a single spot has made planning far less stressful and it's really helped to simplify and smooth our everyday operations.

Cons

I'd love an option to have distinct rotas without needing separate subscriptions so we could organize them more granularly instead of constantly relying on filters. That would let us publish different shift pools for each department rather than grouping everything together as needed.

Reliable solution for shift management

Pros

I've relied on the shift management for many years and it has been consistently brilliant and dependable. The platform is very user-friendly and offers practical, simple ways to organize, coordinate and manage large groups of volunteers which makes scheduling much less stressful for our team.

Cons

We haven't faced any real problems with it but one small improvement would be useful. Making URL links active when sending mass communications. At the moment, any links in bulk messages have to be copied and pasted into a browser and it often adds extra steps and confusion for recipients.

mobile-friendly and cost-effective

Pros

The benefits for me include simple, user-friendly scheduling and immediate communication via email and text. Staff can self-serve to request time off or pick up shifts, while swapping shifts and arranging cover is simple. Timesheets and payroll-related data are tracked automatically, it's mobile-friendly and the pricing is very affordable.

Cons

Overall I have very few complaints about the service because it covers everything I need for the day-to-day running of a swimming pool. That said, I'd like to see more features added in future for example, integration with payroll software packages would be a useful improvement.

Easy to get the hang of

Pros

Offers great value for what it offers, is really simple to use, understand and learn and I had no trouble teaching my manager to use it.

Cons

I'd like the option to create template weeks. Because we run both morning and afternoon sessions, often staffed by the same person. I wish there was an easier way to mark those without extra steps. To keep printed rotas compact, I currently add a divider to indicate the split in the day but a built-in solution would be much nicer.

sends out useful notifications

We've found it really user-friendly and simple to set up. It lets me put together and tweak staff schedules, keep track of hours and handle shifts quickly without any convoluted steps. Because it's cloud-based, the whole team can stay in sync easily and the alerts it sends out cut down on confusion when shifts change.

Cons

That said, I've noticed that some reporting functions and the payroll integrations could be more smooth. The basic scheduling features do what I need but several of the more advanced options involve extra steps or come across as slightly dated in how they operate.

Allows people to check their schedule from anywhere

I appreciate that it makes complex rotas visible across different platforms and with its easy-to-use app, lets people check their schedules when away from the office while offering read-only feed options. I would recommend it!

Expensive compared to alternatives

Pros

I've been using it for some time and I'm pretty comfortable with its features. I likely only use around half of what it can actually do and it handles the tasks I need very well.

Cons

Price is really the issue for me. I've compared it to other options and honestly the fees feel pretty steep. Several colleagues in my field have switched to different platforms and I've seriously considered following suit. The only reason I haven't made the change yet is because of the time it would take and the fact that everything is already set up here. I'll probably look to move next year.

Can get help via Whatsapp and Phone

Pros

I had help available over WhatsApp and by phone which was useful whenever I ran into any confusion. I was also able to run reports without trouble. We will definitely be continuing with this software.

Cons

the only drawback is having to wait for a callback when something went wrong. I would have preferred someone to be immediately available to help, even if it meant a brief hold.

Amazing broadcast-style messaging feature

I find it simple to set up for team members as the layout is user-friendly, logging in is simple and reminders are presented clearly.

Cons

The holiday part for staff feels less clear than it should, getting confusing around bank holidays. I found it doesn't state days are automatically deducted unless you tick a box, the logic should be reversed. I also hate that my holiday allowance isn't visible on my phone so I have to log into a PC.

Issues with payroll integration

Pros

Appreciate being able to plan schedules across multiple teams and departments. The software is really simple for me to use.

Cons

Our payroll system doesn't sync well with it so our payroll tasks are tedious. We wish the activity log would accept a date range instead of clicking through each date separately. I also want staff to set a default availability instead of the system assuming everyone is always available. That would make scheduling casual and on-call team members much easier for our casual and rotating workforce.

Easy to schedule and swap shifts

Pros

Its very simple to schedule shifts, swap them around and set up repeating patterns using templates. The drag-and-drop functionality and the reporting tools are also really useful.

Cons

It's not strictly a criticism but I wish the exported reports included a clear header so their purpose is obvious. At the moment I have to download them into Excel, add a title, save the file and only then send it on to our accountants for payroll. I'd also appreciate being able to log absences as a percentage rather than being limited to the Bradford Factor option.

We enjoy how simple the dashboard is, from managing staff and sites to tracking pay rates, everything is easy to follow. Our team also frequently uses the mobile app which is user-friendly and simple to get around.

Cons

I'd like to see a built-in check-call feature added to the system. It could require staff to acknowledge the app while they're on shift at hourly intervals or at whatever frequency we set and if someone misses a check-in an automatic alert would be sent to managers or the control room to prompt a response.

Clean interface

Pros

The interface is really tidy, uncluttered and I've had no trouble locating any information. Even as someone who opened it for the first time, I found everything quickly.

Cons

I notice that occasionally some of the information shown isn't accurate, although a simple refresh usually fixes it. I'd like to see live updates so data corrects itself automatically and it would be great if they offered a way to message or interact with staff directly.

I've found it very simple to use and the recent update has improved the look considerably. The interface feels well-organized, more like a spreadsheet which makes finding things easy and quick.

Centralized solution!

Pros

love the email forwarding and app notifications

What I really appreciate is being able to forward everything straight to my email, plus it notifies me via the app.

Cons
