“smooth setup with great support but missing key payroll features

Pros

setup was incredibly smooth. Their team actually calls you and real people checking if you need help even for smaller accounts like mine. It feels genuine. Uploading payroll is a dream. You can use your own spreadsheet format and just map the fields so you don't have to reformat everything from your other systems. The I-9 handling is fantastic. Plus there are a ton of integrations and you can add custom checklist items for new hires.

Cons

some of the payroll features are just too complex and a few are even missing. I can't have someone work both a salary and an hourly position which is really frustrating. There's also no leave management so I have to manually remember to skip people on payday every single time.

This platform is so handy and simple. The reminder notifications are a lifesaver for keeping me organized. It's packed with useful features that are perfect for my business and the customer support team is always there when I need a hand.

The only downside is that there's really not much to complain about! It handles everything I need for payroll and has been totally dependable. The price is totally fair for how much it align my business.

The price is amazing for everything they handle with taxes. I was even able to set up a 401K through Human Interest, which was a awesome bonus. The referral program actually pays out and I already got a credit from one! It's easy to use and support is always available by phone, email or chat. As a solo s Corp, having one less thing to worry about with taxes is everything.

Cons

I have not found anything that bothers me yet, everything just feels pretty easy to use.

Running payroll is a total smooth and setting up employees and contractors is so simple. The best part is they handle all the state tax compliance stuff and saves me from so many headaches.

The only thing I'd change is having more API endpoints available. It would make building integrations with our other onboarding platforms so much smoother.

I'm on the basic plan so I get that some processes could be more automated. But I understand that's what you get with the cheaper version and it still does everything I need it to do.
