“Big thumbs up for gusto”
Pros
With gusto, going through the onboarding paperwork was very easy. I could also access my paystubs without any issue.
Cons
There's nothing I dislike about it. It's an awesome onboarding tool and I'll definitely keep using it.

“smooth integration!”
Pros
I like how smooth it is to integrate gusto with other tools like Connecteam for running payroll every two weeks. It makes everything so much easier.
Cons
Changing personal info, like my address, to access money from gusto savings faster is tricky. I tried updating it, but it wouldn't let me. It said my address didn't match my card, and I couldn't fix it

“amazing service !!”
Pros
It's so easy to see my upcoming pay and split my paychecks. I also love how it shows estimated taxes, so I know I'm being taken care of properly.
Cons
I love the software but I usually get emails and notifications hours after I've already been paid. It's kind of annoying, so I turned off my notifications.

“just an average product”
Pros
getting paid early is such a great perk with it but when it doesn't work, it definitely creates a big headache for me.
Cons
sometimes the app doesn't work & we've had to wire payroll to clients, which means covering wire transfer fees.

“not a good experience aT aLL!”
Pros
The user interface is friendly and logical. It separates employees from contractors, making payroll automation very smooth.
Cons
I regret using this company. They care more about their fees than customer service. They messed up my Paid Time Off and blamed me without any proof. They even ignored my employee termination date, which cost me money.

“Loved using it”
Pros
It's really simple to use and the pricing model is the part I appreciate most. Costs scale with your usage, when you're more active, you pay more and when things slow down, the price drops too, based on how many active employees you have.
Cons
Reaching someone live for support can be a bit tricky when you're in a rush. That said, they do seem dependable about following up and calling customers back.

“dependable tool”
Pros
The interface feels well designed and the navigation makes sense.. everything is where I expect it to be. It's also been dependable for us and consistently accurate over the past several years.
Cons
One improvement would be automatic notifications when contractors submit documents. Right now, we keep having to follow up and ask them to confirm when their invoice is already posted online.

Pros
Using it felt effortless. I didn't have to dig through instructions to figure anything out... the whole flow is really adaptive so I was able to jump in right away without confusion.
Cons
Nothing comes to mind that I didn't like. There aren't any cons I can point out.

“great interface”
Pros
its interface feels really polished and the overall experience is solid. There are a bunch of handy features built in too... especially things like time off and spending accounts... which have been useful for us.
Cons
Everything has been working smoothly for our needs and I don't have any complaints. As a small company, it's been a great tool to rely on.

“Perfect for small teams”
Pros
Nice option for small companies. It's pretty simple to use while still handling multiple functions and it feels especially suited for a smaller workforce. Since it keeps everything in one place, your team doesn't have to chase info across different systems. It isn't overly efficient or complicated which actually works well when you only need a few employees using it.
Cons
Doesn't feel very efficient and there's a bit of hunting around to find exactly what you need at first. Once you figure it out though, it becomes a pretty solid choice.

“awesome!”
Pros
Works well for handling payroll and keeping employee details in one place. It also figures out taxes and pay automatically so there's way less manual work. Adding a new employee is simple and all the related info remains saved in the same system which makes ongoing management simpler.
Cons
A few settings feel a bit tricky to locate when you're trying to make changes after the fact. The interface looks clean but the click points aren't always obvious so you can end up hunting around a little to find what you need.

“everything stays organized”
Pros
It's pretty simplistic which ends up being a good thing... especially for ICA. The platform is simple enough to handle core payroll tasks without all the extra bells and whistles that can get confusing with older systems people have used back in the 90s and 00s.
Cons
Because it's built to stay simple, a few organizational features are missing or limited. An API that connects with Google Drive would also be a really valuable addition in my opinion.

“Great service!”
Pros
Basically, it lets us get our payroll close to autopilot. Tax filings, onboarding and benefits are all centralized and automated which saves a ton of back-and-forth. The employee self-service portal is also a big win... everything feels more transparent for the team.
Cons
Support can be slow to respond during peak busy hours. It would be even better with more customizable reporting options since the current reports don't cover everything we'd like.

“Incredible results”
Pros
Was pretty simple to get set up and enter my information. The platform feels especially friendly for startups and payroll beginners and it covers what you need without making things feel overwhelming.
Cons
One improvement I'd suggest is adding a visual screen-to-screen walkthrough during setup so we can confirm it's actually up and running and that features are being implemented correctly alongside them.

“Excellent”
Pros
Setup and day-to-day use were surprisingly simple and the reminders for important tasks have been really useful. I also appreciate that it keeps me on track without having to constantly remember everything myself.
Cons
The only thing that felt off for me was the price, running it for a small business with just two employees ended up being a bit more expensive than I expected.

“overall its great”
Pros
Gusto feels pretty smooth for managing payroll. Features like direct deposit and tax form checks are simple and I didn't run into any problems with that side of things.
Cons
Once I started looking into more advanced features, it wasn't obvious where to begin. A bit more built-in guidance or help would make a difference.

Pros
i convinced this app to use the e-card right from my phone and once it's set up you i could download the card on basically any phone without trouble.

“easy onboarding!”
Pros
Its very user-friendly and adaptive to learn. Getting new employees set up is simple and onboarding doesn't take much time. I also appreciate how simple it is to look up employee information when you need it.
Cons
Reporting isn't quite as efficient or as user-friendly as what we get from our accounting software reports.

“easy to use”
Pros
The interface feels really adaptive and simple to navigate. I'm particularly impressed with the reporting capabilities and the ability to make direct employee payments. The onboarding tools are also a big plus and make setup feel much more manageable.
Cons
What I'd flag is that it can occasionally take a bit longer to respond and a few of the more advanced features are limited to higher-tier plans.

“pricing jump makes payroll pricey”
Pros
Acts as a functional payroll provider and it's capable of handling payroll tasks.
Cons
Billing has been a mess. We went ahead and canceled the service during a month when we didn't run payroll at all (April) yet they still charged the full monthly fee. Also, it keeps raising prices and there's no practical way to avoid paying for an entire month just because you cancel partway through.
