It has really simplified payroll, benefits and HR tasks for my small business. The employee self-service portal makes it very easy to access pay stubs and forms. Time tracking and scheduling are spot on and I can manage everything on the go with the mobile app.

Cons

The subscription fee can be higher than other payroll solutions, which could be tough for small businesses. Plus, some of the essential features are locked behind the most expensive plan. I've also also noticed limited customization options and sometimes I run into bugs.

I love that it always sends me a reminder when payday hits. It's such a nice touch and helps me keep track.

It's incredibly easy to use! I can simply copy and paste the code and use it at a ton of stores and restaurants, even on amazon. It makes shopping so much more convenient!

I wish they offered a physical card or a Visa card for in-store use. some stores don't accept digital ones and that can be frustrating.

setting up gusto was very easy and I was up and running in no time. For small businesses, it's a great option and the price is reasonable. You really do get what you pay for though.

Retirement contributions haven't been going to the right accounts! It's been 17 weeks of delays on the 401k and though it's not entirely gusto's fault, getting help from their team has been really tough. I haven't gotten replies to my emails. I'd change my review if I could just get some support.

sometimes, customer support takes longer than expected especially during busy payroll periods. also, the platform isn't very customizable for complex pay structures and some reports could use more options for filtering and exporting.

There's no way for staff to swap shifts with each other and there's no gPs tracking when they clock in. It feels like it's missing some essential features.

Honestly, I didn't like anything about It. There wasn't even one thing that stood out. They couldn't even handle simple things well.

They weren't even planning to pay one of my state tax obligations. I had to point it out to them even though they're supposed to be tax experts. Then, they sent me emails telling me to relax but they clearly didn't have it under control.

It comes close to being a four-star payroll app. It gets the job done, sends you nice emails letting you know payday is coming and it's really easy to use when it comes to just payroll.

When they started using elevate to handle Fsa, it turned into a nightmare! This week, a pharmacy transaction was denied because It marked the pharmacy as non-Fsa, which caused so many issues. The pharmacy couldn't undo the transaction and we had to pay out-of-pocket. gusto even asked for a receipt for a denied transaction! Honestly, I'd recommend it for payroll but they need to either drop Fsa or partner with someone who does it right.

I found the platform to be very simple to use. It's more than just a time clock, It tracks hours, PTO, vacation requests, where you're clocking in from and all your tax forms.

The location tracking wasn't always accurate. sometimes it showed I was next door when I was actually in my office. Not great for someone who needs to keep track of employees.
