Getting everything set up was super easy especially bringing over my old payroll info. And whenever I'm stuck and can't find an answer myself, their chat support is fantastic. There's always a real person there who actually knows how to fix my problem.

Cons

They made it better for editing future payrolls but it's still rigid. If an employee sends a last-minute hour correction right before the deadline, it's a pain to deal with. The timing just gets tricky.

The whole system just makes sense so even new people can find their way around without any trouble. It gives you just the right amount of help when you're trying something new, not too much but it's there when you need it. The few times I had a problem, I called and they sorted it out really fast. I also have to say, I actually love the Little Piggy that greets you when you log in. It's a fun little detail. My team has even mentioned they like the playful messages that come with running payroll.

My only issue was figuring out how to get that special code you need before you can even call customer service. Took me a minute to find it!

I can see everything about my job, my pay, the hours I've worked and my benefits all in one spot. It's all laid out so clearly that I never have to wonder or guess about anything.

The app can be so slow to load, it's honestly frustrating. Especially when you're in a hurry and just need to check something really quick.

Pros

This one platform does everything our small startup needs for HR and payroll. It handles employees and contractors, takes care of all the state and federal reporting, manages benefits and connects to our accounting software without a hitch. Setting it all up was simple and now running payroll or renewing benefits feels totally easy.

Cons

I wish it worked better with our workers' comp provider. And I'd love to just approve timesheets without sending them to payroll but the system freaks out if my exempt employees log over 40 hours.
