“platform That grows With You

Pros

The interface is so user-friendly, I actually enjoy using it. The little quotes and fun images are a nice touch. Running reports is easy and I can always find what I need. The payroll reminders are a lifesaver and processing hours is pretty easy. It's going to grow with my business which is great. The benefits are awesome and I just set up a 401(k) for us through them. It connects to QuickBooks perfectly, the price is fair and customer service has been really helpful when I've needed it.

Cons

Haven't really found anything negative to say about it yet.

“simple setup, amazing design

Pros

It just makes sense right away. I got my small team set up in a single day. I hate being bogged down by HR stuff but this makes managing time, expenses and benefits really simple. Plus let's be real, the design is gorgeous.

Cons

I can't complain about anything major but I'd love to see more options for performance review templates. It would be great to customize that whole process a bit more. On the plus side their support has been great whenever I've needed help, the chat and callback options are easy to use.

“affordable global payroll

Pros

I'm impressed by how affordable this is. I can pay both my W2 employees and my 1099 contractors even in different countries. It puts all our benefits, HR and training stuff in one place that's actually easy to use.

Cons

The biggest limitation for me is that contractors can't use the time tracking feature; it's only for employees. If they added that it would much cover all our operational needs. I really hope they include it soon.

Pros

Love that everything is so organized. All my paystubs and documents are right there when I log in. Never had a single password issue which is amazing. The monthly payment reminders are actually helpful. Never needed support but I have a good feeling they'd be great if I did.

Cons

I haven't run into any major issues with it. I'd definitely recommend it for smaller businesses.

“Incredible Value, automatic and easy

Pros

For just $40 a month, I get two payroll runs plus any extra ones I need. They handle all the tax stuff and payments automatically, plus unemployment and workers' comp. The auto-payroll setup works great and direct deposit runs without a hitch.

Cons

No real issues since I started using this. In fact my client likes it way more than his old CPa who was charging way too much for payroll.

“simple service, Frustrating pricing Tiers

Pros

so easy to find what I need for payroll and it's all right where I expect it. The fact it handles state unemployment taxes automatically saves me so much time. It's made working with our independent contractors way simpler.

Cons

Pricing is frustrating. I'm on the basic plan and I wish I could just pick a couple of the advanced features without having to upgrade my entire tier. For a small operation like mine with just one employee and a few contractors, jumping to the next level is too expensive.

“Total Financial Control, easy splits

Pros

I can find everything I need easily and there are so many products to choose from. I have my paycheck split automatically to my savings and my 401(k) and it handles it all easily. I get a notification when I get paid. Finding my paystubs and retirement info is simple. The savings account feature is fantastic. Tax documents are easy to find and setting up my account was really easy too.

Cons

The transfer speed from my Gusto savings account to my checking account could definitely be faster.

seriously, so easy to use. Any time I have a problem, customer service is right there and they actually fix it. Every single time.

Cons

the payroll history is so annoying. It only shows 25 entries at a time and I always have to manually click to see 100. Every. Single. Time. Why can't it just remember my setting?

“Interactive system with fair pricing but aplos import creates manual work

Pros

The whole system is just really interactive. Their support team is great when I need them and the price feels fair. Setup was smooth. Best part? It automatically handles insurance and Hsa deductions. Makes running payroll a non-issue.

Cons

The fact that it doesn't import directly into aplos is a major pain. It just creates a bunch of extra manual work for my team. So frustrating.

“Lifesaver after Manual payroll

Pros

Interface is so friendly I can usually figure it out on my own. On the rare occasion I can't, support jumps in super fast and shows me exactly what to do.

Cons

seriously i've got nothing bad to say. I was doing all my payroll by hand before this which was a total nightmare. This platform just works. No issues on my end.

Pros

I've been using this for 8 years at my job and it has everything I need. The interface is so simple and user-friendly, I never have to think about it.

Cons

No major complaints really. It glitches out sometimes but that's usually after an update. I just clear my cache and it's fine.

It has all the basics a startup needs to run smoothly and stay compliant. It just makes complicated stuff simple. The automatic reminders for my bi-weekly payroll are a total lifesaver.

Cons

They really need to get state and city-specific templates for stuff like sick leave and vacation policies. Other apps have them. It would make my life so much easier.

It's very expensive for a small business like mine. But for bigger companies, I feel like the features aren't even deep enough. And good luck getting help , support takes forever.

You get payroll, time tracking, onboarding, applicant tracking... All the core HR stuff without it costing a fortune. The value is just really solid.

Cons

Their support is all over the place. We get a different answer every time we call. Even something simple like firing an employee becomes a huge ordeal because no one there can give us a straight answer.

Love how user-friendly this is. The email alerts for payroll keep me on track. Setup was easy and their support even helped me figure out some tricky California rules. Overall great value for the price.

Cons

No problems so far but I've only used it for a few months. We'll see how it holds up during tax season... that's the real test.

It's so simple to do important stuff like find my W2 or send my pay to different bank accounts. Everything just feels super handy and clean..

I wish I could just text a secure link for my W2 instead of having to download and email it. Would be so much easier.

There's so much packed in here, payroll, taxes, I9s, business reminders. Having them handle my quarterly taxes is a huge weight off my shoulders. Their support team is great at keeping me updated on deadlines and amounts. I check my account daily to see what needs my attention. Onboarding new hires is simple too. I'd definitely recommend this to any small business owner.

This tool does everything I need for my laundry business, time tracking, payroll and compliance for hiring and offboarding. It keeps getting easier to use and support is always there to answer my questions. Setup was simple, tax filing works perfectly and since I pay biweekly, I've got the whole process down now.

Cons

I'm not really using the HR stuff yet but that's a 'me' problem. My business just isn't big enough for that.
