“Runs perfectly, but some reports feel awkward”

Payroll processing is incredibly aligned and everything runs so smoothly without a hitch, I especially appreciate how easyly it manages holiday and PTO tracking.

Appreciate how it makes it simple to check upcoming pay, review older pay stubs and access tax forms.

Performance tracking feels a bit too basic so we end up needing a separate platform. It would be ideal if it could handle both payroll/tax documents and performance tracking in one place.

I liked how it organizes payroll and benefits management through an adaptive, user-friendly platform. Everything feels simple and the workflow makes it easier to handle HR tasks without getting stuck in complicated menus.

The report options don't offer much flexibility which could be a downside for companies that need more specific reporting formats or custom views.

Gusto's interface is super organized and simple to use which made daily payroll tasks feel a lot less painful. The minimalist artwork also looks really cute and keeps the whole experience light and inviting. I used it mainly to keep track of my pay stubs and to submit requests for paid time off and that workflow worked well for me.

Cons

Only real downside showed up after my company switched to a different platform.. once we moved away from it, I could no longer use it.

“Quick support and easy payroll”

Pros

Their support team is really quick to respond and they give me options without any pressure. Running payroll is easy and adding new employees is simple even with my team working remotely in different states. Setting it up was smooth, the interface is user-friendly and there are so many features I haven't even tried yet. Oh and I love the cat mascot!

It is very user friendly. I also love how mobile-friendly it is and it's so simple to check things or submit requests from my phone when I'm not at my desk.

Really can't think of anything negative to say. As an employee using it, I haven't had any problems so far.

My favorite part is how it lets you manage direct deposits and the setup feels simple. You don't have to be super tech-savvy to use it which makes it much more convenient for everyday use.

It would be better if every benefit were equally available. Right now, there seem to be restrictions depending on the state and I wish that wasn't a limitation.

This has been the best interface I've used so far... everything feels simple to navigate. I also really enjoy the payday email reminders and the fun graphics are a nice bonus on top.

They do have an app but I've never actually used it. Honestly I can't even remember seeing any promotions for it so it's possible I missed that info on my end.

It has been fantastic for us.. it really organizes the whole payroll process end to end. Setup took very little effort and entering payroll on a weekly basis is simple. I'd recommend it to anyone and the added bonus is that you can handle benefits and workers' compensation through the platform as well. Overall, it's been a big help for keeping everything organized and on schedule.

No real downsides to report. We genuinely love it and it's saved us a ridiculous amount of both money and time compared to other payroll providers.

Provides a really clear breakdown of employees' income, taxes and working hours which makes it much simpler to monitor everything in one place.

Cons

On occasion, the clock-in/clock-out screens feel laggy and slow and it can take a while to load when I need to access the app quickly.

I really like using it to get gift cards from my employer. It's a handy way to receive the cards without any hassle and it makes the whole process feel pretty simple.

It would be even better if there were more card options to choose from. A wider selection would make it feel more flexible for different preferences.

Running reports is simple with this interface. I got talked into trying ADP once and quickly realized what a mistake that was and it was so hard to get basic info! I switched back here and I won't be making that mistake again.

It can get a little confusing when you're an employer getting paid through another company but support helped me sort it out.

I've set this up for three small companies now and none of them had an HR person. It's so accessible for everyone. Everything just feels easy and organized, I can't imagine managing payroll and benefits any other way now.
