Pros
Getting up and running with onboarding employees and contractors felt so easy and I like how the interface is so easy to use. Whenever questions pop up, customer support is simple to contact. My team depends on this tool several times a week to handle payments and pulling the reports I require for grant applications is simple.

I find the customer navigation portal very user-friendly and I can swiftly pull up all of my documents and details without having to ask for emails or being bounced to other websites.

“Game-changer with missing CRM
Pros
Running payroll is simple for me and adding new team members is simple. I've found this tool to be a genuine game-changer for keeping our operations on track. Whenever I've bumped into a question or something's gone sideways, the support team has stepped in immediately to help. Getting everything set up and linked to our systems was much smoother than I expected and the support folks really made that happen. To be honest, I estimate we're only tapping into about 10% of what the platform can offer right now. As our business grows, I'm looking forward to trying out more of the features. Most days we mainly enter timesheets and run payroll and it manages both with no fuss.
Cons
The lack of integration with Yardbook is a real downside for me, since that's the CRM we depend on to handle our timesheets.

“Much better than ADP
Pros
What I really appreciate is how it helps me stay current with payment deadlines. The layout is so simple and easy to use, and honestly this tool has totally impressed me, far superior to my past experience with ADP.
Cons
I can't really find any major flaws, everything runs smoothly and the design is interactive. If I were forced to be picky, I'd admit there's almost nothing to gripe about which sounds odd but is genuinely accurate.

“best tool with outstanding support
Pros
Hands down, this is the finest administrative tool I've ever used. Its interface feels extremely easy and simple to move around and their customer support team has been nothing short of exceptional.
Cons
Honestly I can't come up with any substantial complaints right now. If forced to suggest something, I'd ask that they continue expanding features as our needs grow. I'd be excited to rely on it for many more tasks in the future.

“Efficient Payroll
Pros
Handling payroll for my business has gotten incredibly simple and quick since we started using It. It helps keep us on the right side of state and federal rules by sending timely reminders for report and filing deadlines which takes a lot of stress off our plate. I'll admit I was nervous about getting everything set up at first, but the website guided me through each step so completing it was simple. When a few questions popped up, customer support was great to deal with and resolved things efficiently. There are quite a few features we haven't tapped into yet but it's comforting to know they're there as our company grows.
Cons
I'd love to see it integrate directly with my CRM system, that kind of connection would make everything run much more smoothly and reduce manual work.

Pros
Having everything available online is a lifesaver. I can log and monitor my worked hours, put in time-off requests, check upcoming holidays, confirm my pay rate and pull W-2s and other essential documents. The dashboard is interactive and gives me a quick snapshot whenever I need one. Working at a small non-profit without an HR team, I've found this system covers all our payroll and HR-related needs reliably and efficiently.
Cons
Occasionally the interface only displays options meant for full-time staff even though I'm classified as a .6 FTE, which can be confusing. Also holiday pay defaults to eight hours per holiday, so I end up having to go in and manually reduce the hours each time rather than having it reflect my part-time schedule automatically.

“really easy to find info
Pros
It's really easy for me to locate the information I need and receiving my W-2 digitally well before a paper copy would arrive in the mail is awesome. Having my retirement account information all in one place is super convenient too. The mobile app has been a lifesaver for clocking in and out when I'm at offsite events, the timeclock is dead simple to use. I also enjoy the little marketing touches, those 'payday's coming' emails always make me smile.
Cons
I likely don't make use of every feature the app offers, so my comments are somewhat limited, but to be honest I haven't faced any problems so far.

Managing payroll for my freelance contractor has become remarkably simple thanks to It. It automatically takes care of all the tax paperwork, which frees up a huge amount of my time. The reminder alerts are super useful . I don't miss critical deadlines anymore. On top of that, I was able to sign up with a discounted rate which made giving the service a try far more budget-friendly.
Cons
The way they price their plans isn't a great fit for how I operate since I only pay a single contractor each month, so I could end up having to move to another provider even though there's actually nothing about the platform that I dislike.

“Solid, but not for complex payroll
Pros
In my experience the payroll features are rock-solid and bundle everything we need into a single place. I've found customer support to be excellent, they're prompt to reply and actually fix the problems that come up. The interface is easy to use, so practically anyone on our staff can use it without getting lost or overwhelmed.
Cons
I ran into issues when we had complex payroll cases, this system just doesn't handle those well. Also, the selection of earnings codes is fairly constrained which limited some of the pay configurations we needed.

“Has everything I need for years
Pros
What I like most is that everything is organized in the dropdown menu, everything I need is right there when I need it. Onboarding new employees is simple because they can fill in their own details which frees up a ton of my time to focus on running the business. Whenever I've reached out to support, they've responded promptly and resolved issues quickly. Payroll runs smoothly whether workers clock in/out themselves or I type in their hours manually either method barely takes longer than signing into any other payroll system. If I ever launch another company, I'd use this service again without hesitation. The features for employees are great too, they reduce basic questions by letting staff handle things via the mobile app and payroll reminders help make sure everyone's paid on time.
Cons
I've been using them for almost four years and truly don't have many complaints. Most of the little problems I've had came from me not paying attention or rushing through tasks. The main inconvenience is scheduled site maintenance because you can't log in while it's happening. They do give advance notice about downtime, but I once ignored that email and tried to run payroll at the last minute right when maintenance started. That was completely on me since I had a couple of days to get it done beforehand. So honestly, about 99% of my 'issues' are self-inflicted.

I've found It upbeat and easy to use and it makes running payroll utterly painless because it automates practically everything. For example, when new hire paperwork needs to be filed with the state, the system handles it for me. If I'm unsure how to register for tax withholding, it walks me through the exact steps for my state. When I need benefits or insurance options, it either hooks up to the provider I already use or guides me to enroll through its partner network. All of those little administrative tasks are taken care of, so I don't have to juggle the details myself.
Cons
I find the back-and-forth between admin and employee views frustrating because, it forces me to create separate accounts and use different email addresses even when the same person needs both roles. It would be so much more convenient if I could simply switch roles within a single account instead of managing multiple logins and inboxes for the same user.

Pros
For me, both the mobile app and the web version have a tidy dashboard that puts all the payroll essentials within easy reach, things like my paycheck, vacation and sick leave balances, 401(k) contributions and more. The layout is uncluttered and interactive, so whenever I want to dig into details it's simple and quick to find what I need.
Cons
Honestly I can't point to any real problems, it's the only tool we have at work to view payroll info, so I don't have another product to compare it to which makes spotting shortcomings impossible for me.

Our team picked up the system very quickly because the interface is so user-friendly, which really smoothed out the whole rollout process. I've been pleasantly surprised by how naturally payroll processing fits into our workflow and it's easy to make changes in real time without any issue. What truly makes it stand out compared to other tools we've tried is how simple it is to handle prior payroll adjustments, there isn't a bewildering trail of journal entries to hunt through. Plus, the QuickBooks Online connection is rock solid and even maps all the way down to job and class levels which has been a big help for our accounting.
Cons
Reaching the tax team has been a real pain because there isn't a direct number to call. Whenever something goes wrong I find myself stuck in a long email chain, repeatedly explaining the issue, a short phone call would almost always clear things up in a few minutes.

Setting up Gusto seemed straightforward and I like its integration with other apps like timekeeping and scheduling.
Cons
Despite accurately capturing our work week and payroll day details Gusto incorrectly generated payroll periods starting from Monday to Sunday despite my repeated explanations that our work week starts on Saturdays. Despite assurances of resolution they failed to address the issue and erroneously reported payroll data to tax agencies causing significant problems.
