“Great team tool, needs mileage tracking”

I find the layout incredibly user-friendly and all of the tools integrate smoothly so it's very easy to use. My team is able to submit time-off requests, pull up paystubs and hours and look over benefit details without effort, everything feels very fluid. Whenever I've reached out for assistance, their support gets back to me promptly and actually fixes issues instead of just passing me around.

Cons

I really wish there was an option for staff to record their mileage directly in the system for payroll reimbursements, because having that built in would simplify the whole process considerably.

“Fits our small business perfectly”

Pros

After trying out a bunch of HR and payroll tools, this one really rises above the rest . it's the most user-friendly and visually pleasing interface I've come across. What makes it a great fit for our small operation is the ability to choose particular plans and optional add-ons that match our needs, which keeps expenses under control while delivering exactly the capabilities we require. Customer support has been easy to reach and quick to respond which has been essential when I have tight turnaround times. I'd absolutely recommend it to anyone thinking about switching, especially smaller teams that want something simple and effective.

Cons

The timesheet view comes across as busy and cluttered, yet it somehow doesn't provide the level of detail I rely on. Since switching from our old system, I really miss having a breakdown that shows both hours worked and pay accumulated that visibility helped staff keep tabs on their expected wages and made it far simpler for me to confirm figures during payroll runs. I find myself spending extra time cross-checking things because that combined hours-and-earnings snapshot is missing.

Onboarding was simple... new employees got up to speed quickly and the reporting to the state was handled reliably.

Cons

Support leaves a lot to be desired. Like several other software companies, it falls short on thorough help when something goes wrong. If everything runs as expected, it works perfectly but the moment you need them to fix a mistake they made, the experience turns into a mess, you end up emailing and chatting with 4 or 5 different people who don't seem to share the details with each other. That lack of coordination has been a real headache and after 17 months I'm deciding to move on.

“Just right for my new company”

Pros

I needed something simple for payroll and taxes when I launched my own company. This tool has been very easy to use, from the initial setup straight through processing payroll. I particularly like the twice-monthly reminders because I run payroll twice a month and they keep me on track. I haven't dug into the benefits or time-tracking parts yet, so I can't comment on those.

Cons

I haven't come across any meaningful problems or anything that's bothered me so far.

Pros

I really like how simple it is to sign in and manage my routine transfers in the app. It's also handy that I can quickly locate and review my paystubs whenever I need to.

Cons

After I got married, my debit card never reflected my new last name. Although my employer updated my information in their system to my legal name, the replacement card still arrived with my former name on it. Now I'm stuck not knowing how to get this corrected or who to contact.

“Easy payroll, long hold times”

Pros

I'm really pleased with how easy it is to run payroll on It, processing payroll feels very simple. I get weekly reminders telling me when to run payroll which genuinely helps and keeps me organized. The way it ties into state systems, workers comp and my bank accounts works flawlessly and saves me a great deal of time.

Cons

What I don't like is the amount of time I've spent waiting on hold with support.

“Rough experience”

This company was a rough experience overall. I moved my banking details and set the new account as primary before running payroll, expecting the change to fully take effect. The old account was already closed but there wasn't a clear way to remove it from their side. Even so, they still tried to pull funds from that closed account, then tacked on a $100 per day "penalty" because the withdrawal failed. Also, they removed my same-day deposit even while still billing me for it. After I pointed out that the issue was on their end, it took around six separate conversations to get to that point but they still refused to restore the same-day deposit while continuing the charges. They also treated me in a condescending way and wouldn't refund the $500 penalty they applied. Overall, the service and handling were bad.. definitely not a company I'd recommend using.

Really happy with how smoothly everything went when setting it up and my employees picked up the time tracking and logging without much trouble. The whole process feels simple, both for me setting things up and for the team using it day to day.

I find the interface unbelievably interactive, within five minutes I can pull up tax documents, review paystubs, or submit time-off requests without hunting around. Everything sits where you'd expect, the layout is tidy and visually pleasing and the UX feels carefully designed. Because of that thoughtful structure, moving through different sections never feels confusing and I go through tasks much faster than I used to.

Cons

from my pov everything behaves as it should and I can't really think of anything that needs fixing right now. If anything, the system just runs smoothly for me and there aren't any obvious issues I would flag or changes I'd demand at the moment.

Quite simple to work with and covers the HR basics really well. Payroll org chart management and time-off requests are all handled in one place so you can manage these day-to-day tasks quickly and efficiently. Overall, the service set is pretty comprehensive and comes together as a solid HR solution.

Pricing is something we always compare when it comes to SaaS and there are other competitive options out there that can be cheaper while still offering similar value.

Pros

The platform feels really simple to use and the user interface is easy to navigate with barely any learning curve. I especially appreciate having control over my payroll details..I can update them, request time off, manage my benefits and also track expenses and reimbursements without needing to go through anyone else.

Time tracking is a bit lacking but overall it's a solid platform that stays very easy to work with.

“Team loves the easier system”

My rep was amazing, they patiently guided me through every step. Since I'm running a 35-40 person company with no HR department, I'm stretched thin, but this tool hands a lot of those responsibilities over to employees so they can take care of things themselves. Our team can't stop talking about how much easier and more interactive it is than our previous payroll provider.

Pros

Having used multiple payroll platforms over the years, this is by far the easiest one I've faced. Tasks that used to take me hours now finish quickly and with much less effort. Bringing on new hires is very easy . a handful of clicks and the platform pushes all the documents to the new team member automatically, then alerts me when everything's ready for my review. I also appreciate the time-tracking and PTO management tools, they've been genuinely useful. State and federal filings are handled correctly and on schedule which gives me real peace of mind after the compliance headaches we had with our previous vendor. Their customer support stands out . the reps are patient, well-informed and never make me feel stupid for asking questions. Switching from our old system went more smoothly than I expected, with lots of help available. All of this comes at a fair price too.

Cons

The only real drawback I've run into is that it's not very interactive to set different vacation balances for individual staff members. It's possible they may have improved this since the last time I checked.
