“Friendly and always improving”
Pros
I've been working with It for several years and the user-friendly interface is what I appreciate most. Their commitment to rolling out updates based on user feedback really stands out, along with excellent communication throughout. Setting up new clients is simple, though my rep always reaches out to see if I need any help during the process. Recently moved eight related businesses over using their transfer team and couldn't be happier and they handled all the heavy lifting, kept us informed with clear updates at just the right frequency. The whole experience was simple and my clients are thrilled with the improvement over their previous provider
Cons
Customer service is usually solid but sometimes response times drag and the answers feel pretty generic. When I get notices, the replies often just repeat what's already in the letter instead of addressing my specific questions. Their email and online support has gotten worse as they've expanded, though it's still better than most competitors out there.

“friendly HR tools”
Pros
Its interface feels really friendly and the time/absence tracking along with benefit administration tools are great for keeping things running at work. It's also nice how the HR side and the 401(k) functionality fit together, working between the two feels better than before. Pricing has been reasonable for our company which helps a lot when we're evaluating options.
Cons
A snag comes up with payroll blocks when State tax information is missing. That situation can be pretty inconvenient because it means reaching out to Gusto to request an extension until the tax details are provided. It would be better if there were a simpler way to extend the block directly (like a button) instead of having to go through support just to adjust the timing.

“Payroll and bank withdrawal failures”
Pros
We were originally sold on the idea that it would handle payroll, 1099 forms, contractors and billing and when everything was working properly it did manage those tasks as promised.
Cons
Trouble showed up once it started malfunctioning, there were integration problems and recurring errors when pulling money from our bank accounts. Reaching support wasn't helpful in the moment either, we'd open a ticket and sit waiting but real support didn't come through until around 3-4 days later.

“simple payroll app experience”
Pros
This software feels simple and really user-friendly. There's also a downloadable app option which makes it convenient to use on the go. Everything is laid out in a simple, direct way so it's not hard to get through the setup and day-to-day tasks.
Cons
The online version tends to log itself out pretty often which gets annoying. It also occasionally fails to populate paystubs correctly. It would be even better if it supported 1099 contractors as well.

“Excellent!”
Pros
Being able to set up direct deposit was a big win and having my pay stubs right there when I need them has made everything feel more organized. I also appreciated how simple it was to gather my tax forms.. everything was available without extra hassle.
Cons
Nothing major comes to mind from using it. I do wonder why my company chose to switch, maybe it was to keep work documents all in one place since with Gusto we still ended up using separate platforms for things like time tracking, benefits and similar items.

“Fast payroll management”
Pros
It is hands-down the top software we use to handle and manage our payroll. It's accurate, runs quickly and is genuinely convenient for day-to-day payroll processing.
Cons
So in my use, nothing stands out as a downside for me. I can prepare my monthly payroll without any hassle using this app.

“I like it”
Pros
The biggest win for me is how accessible the platform feels. I'm not technical at all yet I still got my payroll set up and running without running into any problems. The flow of the setup is pretty simple and I didn't need deep payroll knowledge to get through the steps. I also really appreciated that payroll taxes are handled automatically, it's one of those parts I always end up worrying about.
Cons
Main thing I didn't enjoy is the pricing. I get that the platform's ease of use and overall quality can justify the cost but compared with other payroll providers, it felt a little on the expensive side. Even though it clearly adds value... especially through efficiency and customer support... it might be worth thinking about for smaller companies or anyone working with a tighter budget.

“clean ui”
Pros
Really enjoying the user interface, plus the auto-communication settings that keep me in the loop. It sends updates to my email or text when I'm paid and when I need to handle account updates.

“smart payout alerts”
Pros
It feels simple to use and quick to navigate. I appreciate that they manage the full payroll process, including handling the tax side of things and automatically sending and filing required tax forms like W-2s and 1099s.
Cons
Occasionally it takes a bit of digging to locate the specific reports I'm looking for but I'm usually able to track them down. When I can't, customer service helps point me in the right direction.

“modern design”
Pros
I tried the HR features for a short time while helping with an employee selection process. We ultimately went with a different product because of cost but the interface felt modern and polished. Navigation was simple and things like time off requests were simple to submit and manage. Time tracking also worked nicely for the flexitime setup though our team has since moved to fixed hours so that particular feature wasn't something we needed.
Cons
HR capabilities could go further, there's room to expand the tool to cover more end-to-end HR management tasks.

“user-friendly tool”
Pros
Refreshingly simple!! It's modern, adaptive and really simple to use. If you're not super tech-savvy, it still comes across clearly and is very user friendly. I also enjoyed being able to use the platform through the app to track my paystubs and the fact that you can open a bank account through them too.
Cons
There really aren't any downsides, this has been the best system I've used across my seven years of professional work.
