While the features are great overall I believe the HR tools could be more powerful especially the document section.

“terrible support”
Pros
There's potential for it to turn into a solid system but the customer support has been awful. It also feels like they don't take the impact on my employees seriously.
Cons
Pretty much everything is disappointing especially customer service. They don't follow through on promises and that whole process has been very poor overall.

“customer support needs work”
Pros
It connects well with benefit providers and pricing is significantly lower, roughly 75% of what ADP charges.
Cons
The customer service shuts down at 4pm and will actually hang up right before then (around 3, 59pm). Payroll professionals don't get any real flexibility to override pay period dates or adjust pay increases. A lot of the support staff who handle return call requests don't speak English as a first language which has led to major communication problems and incorrect fixes. Even emails about tax-related issues don't move forward... messages are only acknowledged as received, without any real resolution.

“smooth payroll tracking UI”
Pros
Being able to log in and manage my payroll tracking has been really simple. Updating my direct deposit details was also quick and simple and the UI is honestly my favorite part of the whole experience.
Cons
Nothing negative really came up for me over the two years I used it. Getting set up and managing everything felt uncomplicated.

“user-friendly”
Pros
The interface is simple and feels simple to navigate. It handles human resources across the board, including employees, salaries, incentives and even permanence and it also helps support customers as well.
Cons
Feature set seems geared more toward small and medium companies and doesn't quite cover the needs of larger organizations. On the HR side, it doesn't bring in new employees as well, it supports existing staff better than onboarding new hires.

“simple design”
Pros
I enjoy the simple, clean design of both the website and the emails. Navigation feels simple and the information is presented clearly which I really value especially when it comes to my payroll.
Cons
A few tasks can occasionally feel a bit complicated and it's not always super obvious what the next step is to finish something. For example, I may need to check my email for a specific link and that detail isn't always clearly spelled out. Aside from that, everything else has been working well.

“friendly UI”
Pros
The interface feels user friendly and the pricing is pretty affordable. It also integrates smoothly with other tools which makes it convenient to fit into an existing workflow.
Cons
Customization options are fairly limited and the reporting features don't go very far. Scalability is also constrained so it may struggle as you grow.

“excellent support during setup”
Pros
Support team really stood out when I ran into a couple of issues while setting up my account. I wasn't fully aware of the tax requirements and paperwork I needed to complete but customer service walked me through everything and made the process feel a lot more manageable.
Cons
It would be nice if I made even more use of Gusto's software features since there seem to be additional capabilities I'm not using yet. I'm aware I could take better advantage of what's available as I get more comfortable with the platform.

“There is a reason they have a pig running across the screen.....”
Pros
Linking with benefit providers is seamless and cost-effective approximately 75% cheaper than ADP.
Cons
As a payroll professional Ive encountered challenges with Gustos customer service. They end calls promptly at 4 pm even hanging up at 3:59 pm. Theres limited flexibility with period dates/pay increases. Many support agents have difficulty communicating in English leading to misunderstandings and unresolved tax issues via email.

“He is the Director of Human Resources”
Pros
Gusto offers a straightforward interface for managing all aspects of human resources including employee data salaries incentives and tenure along with excellent customer support.
