“Convenient onboarding”

The onboarding feels convenient and the integrated forms are a real plus.

Cons

Support has dropped off a lot over the past year. It's difficult to get in touch and once you do reach them the help is pretty limited. Their rules about what information you're allowed to access also seem off. I asked for background data and was told they couldn't provide it but then they pointed me to a totally unrelated section of the user agreement. I ended up escalating it all the way to legal and that interaction was abrasive and rude basically they said they won't share my own payroll information unless I provide a court order forcing them to do so.

“clean interface”

Pros

This app does exactly what it's meant to do and it feels solid for employee use. The interface is modern and genuinely fun to look at, not just plain and boring. You get both an app and a website which is convenient and I didn't see any delays on my paycheck everything matched what I saw on the employee calendar. Also, the layout is simple and pretty easy for new employees to understand and get going with.

Cons

Not a lot to complain about overall but one gap stood out, the app doesn't offer as many features as the website. It basically covers the basics and doesn't go further so it felt like the full experience isn't really available on mobile. If the app could mirror the site's functionality, that would make it a lot better. I'd also love added options like setting goals to save directly on the platform, plus being able to view payroll earlier instead of only seeing it close to payday.

Onboarding with Gusto is convenient and the integration of forms adds to the ease of use.

Support quality has declined significantly. Obtaining access to certain information is problematic and escalating issues to legal counsel was necessary.

Pros

The apps functionality for both users and employees is excellent featuring a modern interface thats enjoyable to use. Whether on the app or website accessing paycheck information is hassle-free with no delays.

Cons

While there wasnt much to dislike I wished the app had more features compared to the site. It should offer similar functionality. Additionally it lacks certain features I expected.

Gustos modern and minimalist design makes it easy to find payroll information quickly. The platforms performance is reliable with clear and accessible layout.

Cons

From a user perspective theres little need for improvement. Its efficient for viewing payroll information.

HR administration functions well but Bamboo HR offers a more customized workflow.

Payroll feels truly turnkey and is a big step up from QuickBooks. Setting it up, rolling it out and keeping PTO policies running has been simple and the whole process stays well organized.

HR administration runs well but BambooHR's workflow setup is a bit more organized if you're looking for that level of customization.

“It has everything I need and even more!”

Our HR department worked perfectly, but some things were not as streamlined as they should be, resulting in complaints from other departments. I then went for Gusto, as I had prior experience with it. It is a very powerful tool for HR and payroll activities, which irons out a lot of kinks in the way of a more streamlined HR experience, especially for small companies like ours. My company was using another software called OnPay before I came, and I immediately recommended Gusto, which was the right choice for us. It has a great user experience and vertical integration of functionality with our existing workflow.

Cons

It is a hard pill to swallow due to higher than usual pricing, but it all comes down to how much youre willing to create ease for your workers. The price was even higher than our previous software, so I had to face some resistance, but ultimately, our team believes it is worthwhile. It comes with a lot of features that you might never use but still have to pay for. And thats what I think is the biggest downside of Gusto. But if youre focused on improving your HR productivity, its a no-brainer!

I really like that I can manage all my billable hours in a single portal. Also, it sends me reminders about the payment details via email so I don't miss anything.

Cons

No complaints here.. it feels user friendly and adaptive to use.

As a small business, we managed to set everything up ourselves without much hassle and we were able to put it into place right away. Any adjustments we've needed have been simple to make and the customer support team has been genuinely helpful whenever questions come up.

No real complaints on our end. If anything, it might be nice to have a few more features but the setup we have is working well for what we need right now.
