“Just the basics”
Pros
Gusto is incredibly straightforward and easy to set up, especially when syncing with QuickBooks. Most of my clients choose it primarily because of its affordability.
Cons
There doesn't appear to be much flexibility available with the software. Anything beyond standard reporting and syncing requires assistance from support.

“fast payroll setup”
Pros
This software has genuinely helped me get work done quicker especially with the employee list and onboarding new hires on time. I'm not an accountant, just know the basics.. but it makes it simple to enter account details and handle tax tasks for both monthly and quarterly filing. The whole flow is designed so you can manage the requirements without needing deep accounting knowledge.
Cons
After about a year, performance started to feel slower. Upgrading became necessary and the process meant waiting around 15-20 minutes. That delay was mostly on our side but it still caused a hassle because it temporarily interrupted our workflow. Since we had a set schedule, pausing updates on each computer to catch up with the system changes wasn't ideal.

“Gusto Makes Payroll For Small Business Easy”
Pros
One of the standout features is the relief from calculating and paying payroll taxes. It's a challenge for small businesses, but with Gusto, you just input the time cards, hit submit, and it's done.
Cons
It's relatively straightforward if you're tech-savvy. However, if you're new to software or cloud platforms like this, there's a learning curve.

“Super Easy to Use Payroll Service”
Pros
The product is incredibly user-friendly and streamlined, perfect for someone like me who is new to payroll management. It's ideal for beginners without prior experience in payroll.
Cons
I can't think of anything I dislike. I've exclusively used this payroll service with my company for over four years, and I see no reason to switch.

“Loved this!”
Pros
I felt genuinely disappointed when we transitioned away from Gusto. It's hands down the easiest platform to use as an employee.
Cons
It's suitable for smaller companies! I wish they had continued supporting us as we expanded.

“Gusto is an easy payroll solution”
Pros
It's very easy to maintain, especially for smaller companies without dedicated payroll personnel. As a program manager, Gusto has made it easy for me to handle payroll, sick leave, and other HR tasks.
Cons
One feature I'd really appreciate is the ability to bulk update employees' worked hours. Since my employees work the same hours every day, it would be great to have a feature where I can easily duplicate days instead of manually inputting each day's data.

“easy payroll setup with gusto”
Pros
We used it for payroll at our small agency and it worked well for getting everything set up. Adding staff was simple and employees could handle their own details for direct deposit through their bank account setup.
Cons
A few gaps showed up compared to other payroll tools. Some features you'd expect from more complete payroll/HR apps are missing, like options for tracking reviews and other HR-related needs.

“Solid software”
Pros
It syncs really well with QuickBooks Online which makes payroll and accounting setup feel a lot more connected. The onboarding process is also pretty simple for getting new clients or employees up and running.
Cons
Their reports can be confusing to navigate... I've struggled to quickly find the information I'm looking for. Also, the way their journal entries are handled doesn't work well for my workflow.

“Loved it!!”
Pros
Made payroll management and onboarding both new contractors and full-time employees surprisingly simple.
Cons
Support seems weak when issues get complicated especially around state tax filings. For example, I was told they wouldn't be able to look into a letter I received from the state that demanded a response within seven days. Their workaround was that they'd cover any fines tied to the delay but that still isn't the kind of help I want.

“convenient mobile app for teams”
Pros
The biggest win here is the mobile app, it's really convenient and simple to use. We've had all our employees install it and everyone can use it without friction.
Cons
No real complaints on our end. It has worked smoothly for our business and even technicians who aren't very tech savvy can navigate it without trouble. Overall, it feels very user-friendly.
