Clocking in and out is simple, payroll functions smoothly, and managing time off is efficient. While support can be inconsistent, I highly recommend the HR Pros feature.

I wish it had deeper integration with Asana and other software we use. More tax features and assistance with audits would be fantastic.

I liked that it was ready to use right away, from the management side all the way down to hourly workers. The navigation feels simple, clicking in and out, reviewing and approving requests works smoothly on both ends. It also covers time off requests and time bank handling without much hassle. Overall, it's pretty simple to use.

Cons

The one thing that really bothered me was how long it took to load everything. No matter what device I used or how good the internet connection was, I kept running into the same slow loading issue and the frequent appearance of that "pig" image got old fast.

Onboarding is simple and the whole process is laid out step-by-step so you always know what to do next. I was able to get everything set up within 1-2 hours and the interface feels very user friendly.

Cons

Customer support has been a letdown, I'm not sure if it's related to COVID or something else but responses feel quite slow especially for urgent stuff like payroll and taxes. I also ran into a couple website glitches where I couldn't finish tasks and the help through email dragged on since I never got to speak with a real person. It usually just sent me back to troubleshooting pages.

Onboarding and execution are straightforward, with almost every step detailed along the way. You can have it set up in 1-2 hours. Very intuitive.

Customer service, particularly during urgent matters like payroll and taxes, feels sluggish. There were a couple of website glitches that delayed my tasks, and getting help via email took too long.

The unlimited monthly payroll feature in Gusto is invaluable. We also use it to pay our independent contractors. As a fully remote company with staff in 18 states, Gusto simplified the process of registration by providing links and contact numbers for state agencies and local authorities.

As an experienced payroll administrator, Gusto's simplicity required me to adjust my usual approach.

The platform is simple to use and as a new business owner it hit the key things I needed, paying my employees and keeping important information organized, maintained and stored in one place. Having my taxes managed and reported when they're due has been a huge help and it's honestly the kind of workflow I wouldn't have been able to set up on my own. I also really appreciate the ongoing information and updates it provides right inside the platform.

Cons

Only part I've had trouble with is figuring out how to set up benefits for my office, I tried twice to find the right information for it and I couldn't get what I needed based on my situation.
