What I like most is how simple the platform is to use. It also brings modern HR features and I can pay payroll quickly and efficiently.

One thing I don't enjoy is getting constant Gmail reminders every time I do something in the platform. It feels unnecessary and ends up being stressful since the messages pile up.

Installation and setup were simple and getting everything implemented didn't take much effort. Customer support has been really helpful and responsive. The product feels like solid value for the money and it runs very quickly with a smooth experience. The interface is also pretty attractive to use day to day. It's a good fit for small cap, mid-cap and large-cap businesses since it brings key functions together in one place.. tracking payroll, benefits, hiring and management resources across the organization.

Cons

Since everyone wants lots of features without spending much, I do wish the pricing were a bit more budget friendly. It feels slightly high for what I'd ideally expect so I'd love to see it make it more affordable over time.

I've been using this software for my small business for close to two years now and it's been a solid experience. The interface feels really adaptive and user-friendly and it has noticeably sped up the process of tracking employee hours and submitting payroll. I've tried other payroll tools but customer support, along with the built-in HR benefits, is what really sets it apart.

Cons

honestly nothing has felt difficult to me or to my employees. Getting set up and using it day to day has been simple and there haven't been any complaints.

Love that contractors can add their own details without jumping through extra hoops. It cuts down a ton of time since I don't have to chase people down just to get their information in the system.

Payment setup is a pain, you can't pay yourself unless you run payroll. That's frustrating especially since we do rely on contractors but they still don't unlock all the features unless we go through the payroll options they offer.

It delivers a solid, user-oriented interface that makes it possible to handle HR and payroll tasks in just a few minutes. Payroll management gets organized with automation and the platform also supports paperless workflows with direct transactions.

The PTO section could use an update and there's no geo tracking or global payroll functionality.

I really appreciate that everything stays compliant and my taxes are taken care of for me. Having direct deposit available also makes payday way more convenient and hassle-free.

Feels simple to navigate and really nice to look at which makes daily use less of a hassle. Customer support has also been consistently fast and friendly whenever I've needed help.

Nothing sticks out as a downside for me... either I haven't run into any functions that misbehave or the tool has all the features I need without any noticeable gaps.

Everything about it has been terrible. The admin team for Cerebral and Gusto hasn't been responding which has only made the whole situation worse.

Tax calculations aren't simple and figuring out deductions for every single employee can feel quite challenging.

Support takes a while to get back to you and when it runs into problems with your account, the option to contact support disappears for some reason. Also, the roles and permissions available feel overly broad.

Payroll is handled automatically too and it's pretty simple to review the employer contribution when you need to. There's also a solid database of employees making it simple to manage and find people as required. Compensation management is another useful part, overall it feels well organized for payroll, related tasks.

Cons

Payroll page can get confusing at times especially when you're trying to locate specific details quickly. Time tracking also seems a bit inconsistent compared to the rest of the system.

It is simple to use and the results are very accurate. Also, it handles submitting all my tax forms for me which saves a ton of time. I didn't have to worry about the paperwork part much at all.
