“payroll and pto management simplified”

Pros

It has made handling our payroll and PTO rules a lot simpler. Since employees can log in and submit PTO requests right through the system, the whole process has cut down the time our small team used to spend on paperwork and coordination.

Cons

For a brand new small business, the sheer number of features can feel like a lot at first. Still, the platform is pretty approachable and their support team is genuinely helpful when we get stuck.

Pros

So far I'm enjoying Gosto because it's cheaper than other sales system options on the market. It feels accessible and is simple to use for pretty much everyone on our team. Also, it's secure and handles VAT/taxes properly which is a big plus for us.

Cons

We haven't run into any real problems with the software so far. The only thing that's been slightly disappointing is that I can't add certain fields or create separate custom fields the way I'd like. There's also a bit of missing functionality and if those areas were improved, I think it would be even more user-friendly.

Pros

Really happy with how the software handles the day-to-day HR essentials.. employee onboarding, payroll management, direct deposits and benefits administration like 401(k). It covers a lot of the busy work in one place which makes things feel more organized and less manual.

Cons

Activity Dashboard doesn't feel very useful right now. If they add more features or improve what's shown there, it could become a lot more valuable and make the overall product even better.

Pros

The platform is simple to navigate even if you're not especially comfortable with computers. Pricing also feels like one of the better options out there for smaller businesses that need payroll without paying enterprise level costs.

Cons

I ran into trouble when trying to resubscribe. I only needed the contractor plan but after using it before, it wouldn't let me sign back up for the contractor option and instead pushed me into the W2 price plan. That's frustrating... why would they block access to the 1099/contractor setup and charge the W2 tier instead especially when the contractor plan is exactly what I needed?

Pros

Most helpful parts are the follow-up team support and the option to save the money you spend. Also, it's a very user-friendly program and it works with all types of businesses. I'd definitely recommend it to others.

Cons

Right now there aren't any downsides to report and I'm hoping it keeps performing this way going forward.

Pros

Online portal is simple to navigate and the pricing is comparatively affordable and upfront which is why I recommend the service to my clients.

Cons

Support hasn't felt very payroll savvy to me...the team mostly focuses on walking you through using their platform. If anything payroll-related comes up, you'll want to already understand how payroll works or you'll need a CPA to step in and help resolve the problem.

Pros

It made it really simple to roll out a ton of features even as a small company. Setup felt approachable and the whole workflow lined up well with what we needed.

Cons

Nothing really felt missing from what I could see. I didn't dig super deep into every capability but onboarding, payroll and keeping track of other key info went smoothly.

Pros

Setup and day-to-day use feel adaptive across the full range of payroll tasks. Customer support has been excellent and the team actively seeks feedback to improve how that support is delivered. The software also keeps getting updated to match changing requirements and features are rolled out in beta stages until they're really reliable. Overall, it's a strong product that covers most payroll needs within the accounting side.

Cons

Support access can be a bit of a hassle... though the help itself is excellent, reaching the right person takes time and can feel tiring.

Accessing the app is simple and the overall interface feels familiar right away. After a short introduction, the layout becomes really simple to navigate so I didn't have to spend much time figuring out where things are.

Nothing seems to be missing from this product based on our needs so far.

“Its amazing”

Pros

It's honestly been incredibly simple and adaptive as an onboarding and payroll tool. The platform gathers all the onboarding documents into a clear checklist and it will send reminders when anything is missing or needs attention. Payroll options are also really flexible for different scenarios... salary, hourly, mixed setups, bonuses and more. Support has been quick and genuinely friendly too which made the whole process feel smooth from start to finish.

Cons

No negative experiences to report with this software.

“A secure HR and Payroll portal”

Pros

Consolidates a bunch of Payroll and HR service tasks into one simple portal. It feels secure and there are plenty of built-in options right out of the box-like W-4 and tax documentation, plus additional plugins for added flexibility.

Cons

Since the HR service management side is still relatively new, it could benefit from broader company adoption to really unlock its full value.

“Incredible software for HR”

Pros

Makes it really simple to log hours and keep an eye on pay along with earnings and benefits. It's the kind of thing that should be simple yet a lot of large companies still dump employees into confusing spreadsheets just to report hours and handle the number crunching. Having everything collected in one place feels better for employees and also makes HR and accounting folks' jobs easier.

Cons

The referral feature is way too noticeable. It shows up so often that it's hard to imagine it's useful for most small business owners, how many referrals are you realistically going to make? Still, I keep ending up on a referrals tracking page at least once a week without meaning to.

“user-friendly”

Pros

Really user friendly...finding reports and pulling the right data is quick when I need it. I also like that employees can print their own tax forms and check stubs which cuts down a lot of back-and-forth for me. Time tracking has been a win too, it's simple to access and makes sense even for newer employees. Payroll runs are simple and paying contractors feels smooth overall.

Cons

Mobile app leaves something to be desired. I personally haven't used it much but a couple of my employees do and we keep running into situations where we have to go back to adjust times after the fact.

Love how it works as an all-in-one administration tool that a business can use without juggling multiple systems.

Cons

It would be even better if they added more support features to help users like us.

“PTO tracking and benefits in one”

Pros

I really like how quickly I can find anything I need, plus the paycheck day notifications keep me on track. It's also handy to be able to see who's out on vacation and the time-off request flow is simple. Also, having benefits accessible in the same place saves me from hunting around different systems.

Cons

Can't seem to access the PTO calendar on my phone desktop works but mobile doesn't. Also, my FSA is handled through it and getting one of my dentist charges approved was a headache. Even though the team was helpful and responsive, I ended up needing to submit multiple receipts (about 3-4) from my dentist's office before it got accepted.

Really enjoyed how simple it was to use. Each employee also gets their own personal login which makes it simple for them to check all documents and access payroll stubs without any hassle.

Cons

Customer service wasn't great.. support felt pretty unhelpful when I needed assistance.

Appreciate that it also stores your tax information so you can simply download what you need when it's time to file. Using it for direct deposit has been solid for a couple of years now and nothing has really come up that caused any headaches.

Cons

Not much to complain about. Compared to other payroll tools I've tried, this one feels like the best option for getting payroll set up and handled without much hassle.

Pros

This software has been really simple to work with. Payroll calculations and reporting come out accurate every time and the employees seem to enjoy using it as well since they can view their paystubs online. Direct deposit is a nice added convenience that makes paydays less of a hassle.

Cons

Right now, nothing comes to mind that's negative about it... everything feels user friendly and payroll calculations are simple.

Pros

Affordably priced which makes it a solid fit for small scale businesses. Setup is simple so you can get going quickly without a long ramp-up. Payroll is built with security in mind, helping protect your data. It also handles employee benefits and manages payroll tax filings so a lot of the admin work is covered in one place.

Cons

No free trial to test it before committing. The company doesn't take responsibility for pay issues caused by the software. Customer support still feels like it hasn't been improving as much as it should.

Feels very user friendly whether you're using it on the admin side or as personnel. It's simple to track benefits, PTO and payroll, all from one centralized dashboard that's easy to navigate.

Cons

The mobile experience could be better... there's definitely room for improvement there.
