“simple to navigate”

Every payroll option I needed is available in a clean, easy-to-navigate app. Switching between features and finding what I was looking for has been simple from the start.

“So convenient”

Pros

This payroll tool has seriously stood out to me lately... it's the strongest option I've come across in a while. I especially like how it handles overtime, including explanations and even acknowledging employees for overtime hours. Even during the free trial, it felt more capable than I expected and the overall setup and versatility were impressive. On the HR side, it also feels like a more modern platform and benefit management is genuinely simple thanks to the user-friendly app and website. It's also a nice fit for people and businesses that want to reward customers and it feels like something more widely useful than just for payroll alone.

Cons

There are a couple of concerns worth noting. One statement from the review I'm echoing, almost verbatim, mentions that our client nearly got derailed because of similar confusion which is not a good sign. Support can also be slow or nonexistent, it's discouraging when you wait longer than a few days just to get an answer to a simple question. Also, customer support doesn't feel strong at all and setup can be difficult. The user interface is another weak spot, if you click or place your mouse slightly wrong, you can end up losing everything you typed even when you've carefully documented beforehand.

Pros

We absolutely love it for our clients. The dashboard, the built-in features, customer support, everything feels incredibly smooth and simple to use. It's become our go-to and we don't plan on switching.

Cons

Haven't run into any feature gaps or problems while using it with any of our clients.

I use it for managing employee documents, payroll and benefits. Having everything in one place keeps the process organized and much simpler to track.

The only thing I'd change is that the paystubs could be formatted to look a bit more professional.

Feels simple to use, with clear navigation and a setup process that's friendly for everyone. I'd absolutely recommend it to startups and small businesses that want an HR platform without the headache of extra complexity.

“Loved it”

Pros

Setup is simple and I can run it without constantly tweaking things. Once it's deployed, it mostly becomes a "set it and forget it" situation and getting it live quickly was a big win.

Cons

Customer support feels weak. When I'm dealing with more complex income management strategies, the tool can feel a bit limited and the response times from support are slower than I'd expect.

Pros

I really appreciate that the software sends out email check-ins asking how we're feeling about the company. It gives our leadership a clear sense of the overall employee mood across the team so they can address problems early instead of waiting for bigger issues to pop up.

Cons

Time off tracking is missing the manager-level visibility we need, it doesn't show how many days each team member has left to use.

“responsive support team”

Pros

Customer service has been excellent, messages get answered quickly and the team is genuinely helpful. Communication feels very responsive and reliable.

Cons

App isn't quite as adaptive as I'd expect so navigating it takes a bit more time than it should.

“fun animations and smooth payroll”

Pros

The animation is honestly enjoyable... watching it while I'm logging in makes the whole process more entertaining. As an employee, I can manage my side of my pay really comfortably.

Cons

There are moments where logging in or out can get a bit tricky and occasionally it seems to require a phone-based text verification. Once that step is handled, everything feels simple for what the app is meant to do.

“Great software”

Pros

Everything you'd want to kick off a business is included and it also covers payments and handling taxes, plus pretty much anything else that fits the process. It feels like a full package from getting started all the way through the things you need to stay compliant.

Cons

What I liked least is dealing with the online flow... especially logging into different apps and jumping between different screens and options.

“support is stellar”

Pros

The process gets broken down step by step with a lot of care and clarity. Even tasks that could feel complicated are explained in a simple way so it's easier to follow along and complete things correctly.

Cons

A few problems can't really be handled on your own and need the built-in help features. I've noticed it can be pretty slow to respond to calls and emails-eventually they do get back and the guidance is helpful but when payroll and tax issues are time sensitive, waiting more than a month to get a fix isn't ideal.

“Saves time”

Pros

A simple HR Solution really cuts down the time it used to take and keeps the whole workflow moving faster. I no longer have to handle piles of paperwork or build multiple packages just to get documents signed in person...everything happens online. That change alone saves me about 75% of my time which I can put back toward supporting employees.

Cons

It could use a stronger Employer Onboarding process. The approval flow isn't very user-friendly and that's the only real issue I've run into.

Pros

This has been one of the simplest user interfaces I've worked with. Since we're a small business, HR always felt a bit intimidating especially with employees in multiple states, different pay structures and custom holidays. The platform ended up working better than I expected and even the more complicated workflows get handled through clear, step-by-step guidance inside the product.

Cons

I'm glad they're continuing to add integrations, like unemployment insurance and benefits. It would be even better if healthcare options were included too. Ideally, everything would live in one place with the same user-friendly interface but that isn't a deal breaker, at least these features are available in some form.

Pros

It feels like a smooth payroll management tool and I used it for a little under six months. From the employee side, it's simple to access and view pay stubs and the app sends notifications so you know when payday is coming. The interface is clean and adaptive too and I didn't have trouble finding what I needed.

Cons

So if you're after a more comprehensive payroll platform, this probably won't cover everything, its feature set is fairly limited. Another thing that's missing for me is a dashboard which seems to be standard in a lot of other payroll solutions.

Pros

The payroll feature lets me enter all the details I need without much hassle and the reports it generates are clear and precise enough to keep my records in good shape.

Cons

A few of the reports aren't as customizable as I'd prefer but they're actively working on it and keep adding new report options.

“stress-free online payroll processing”

Pros

I really enjoy processing payroll online with it. The interface feels user friendly and it turns what could be a confusing, stressful part of running a business into something that's smooth and much more manageable. Customer support has also been genuinely helpful whenever I've needed assistance.

Cons

Wish it were better integrated for handling all contractor payments since the setup we have today isn't really suited to that side of our business yet.

Pros

Its a good tool overall. Every time I needed a specific piece of information, it was simple to track it down.

Cons

I did end up getting more emails than I expected. Still, it's reassuring that there are plenty of resources available through those updates.

Pros

The product feels extremely simple to use. Getting everything set up takes a bit more effort than the day-to day usage but their customer support more than makes up for it, response has been excellent.

Cons

Main limitation is that the notification settings can't be edited. Specifically, both the "notifications" and "email notifications" options are locked so as an admin at the property/account level you're not able to change those notification preferences.

“Good...”

Pros

It handles filing payroll tax reports for the client and that's been a huge relief. My clients don't have to keep track of all the periodic due dates anymore which cuts down a lot of the stress on my side.

Cons

Occasionally it's a bit tricky to locate the exact accounting-related reports you need.

“Impressive UI and UX”

Pros

The website UI feels really adaptive and modern. It loads quickly and feels capable overall and I've already started associating the little animated loading pig with speed and a genuinely good user experience.

Cons

Compared to a few other newer competitors, it could be more deeply integrated into the organization... especially for onboarding new employees and handling offboarding when people move on.
