“top payroll software choice”

Pros

After using quite a few different payroll tools, this one has quickly become my favorite by far. It's the one I keep coming back to because it just works for how we need to run payroll.

Cons

Occasionally the site experiences outages which seems pretty common with payroll platforms. It's still a hassle when it happens but it hasn't been a dealbreaker for me.

Pros

I can show appreciation to my colleagues by sending small gift tokens for their support and service within the team.

Cons

Nothing comes to mind that I dislike, it's a wonderful tool and very simple to use.

Pros

This tool takes care of automating and managing our taxes, health insurance and deductions, basically all the paperwork we used to handle manually.

Cons

Some parts feel a bit dated. For example even though we no longer have hourly employees, it still prompts me to run hourly payroll every two weeks.

I really appreciate being able to keep track of employees' working hours with this tool. It makes it simple to monitor time worked and stay on top of schedules.

At the moment, it feels like a strong fit for what our company needs so I don't have any complaints or concerns to raise.

Makes payroll management feel simple and cost effective. Also, it provides solid reporting tools and takes care of a lot of the confusing tax work for you.

Setup and learning were effortless and the whole system is pleasant to use. honestly there isn't much to complain about yet... I really love the experience so far.

Pros

Surprisingly simple to follow. The updates it sends are actually helpful... for example, reminders about the best times to run payroll and when to record expenses. Managing a variety of reports is also genuinely useful and the builtin guidance that helps you find exactly what you need is a nice touch. The chat support has been excellent as well, friendly, quick to respond and very professional. It also works smoothly with my donor management/accounting system so everything stays connected.

Cons

One thing that keeps bothering me is the sheer number of emails I get. I've tried adjusting my membership and email settings but it hasn't made much difference. Since I'm already using it to the fullest, I don't need reminders.. but they're still coming through regularly.

Pros

Love having access to essentially every part of our human resources documents and materials whenever I need them. Since we used to rely on separate tools for payroll and time tracking, being able to handle everything from one platform has been a big win for our workflow.

Cons

The browser version feels pretty different from the mobile app. That mismatch can make it a little tricky to walk remote employees through where to tap and how to move through the tabs and features.

“turn-key hr with helpful reminders”

Pros

It's simple to use and feels very "turn key" for HR. I also appreciate the reminder emails for important tasks and key dates-they keep things from slipping through the cracks.

Cons

Customer service was pretty disappointing at first but it's improved enough that I'm willing to stick around.

Pros

Really, ive enjoyed the app's access flow especially the nomination part and the way it includes an appreciation feature. Those sections feel thoughtful and actually get used in practice.

Cons

There are a few areas I haven't used yet but I'm actively working through them and plan to learn how everything else works.

Was really simple to get up and running which helped a lot since we're a new startup. The pricing also felt competitive compared to other platforms we looked at.

Cons

A few parts aren't as adaptive as I'd expect so it can take a bit more figuring out than it should at times.

It's pretty simple to use once you go through the steps the first time.

Doesn't remember your login so you end up having to sign in repeatedly with a verification code.

This tool was genuinely simple to pick up and the customer service has been top-notch. The whole interface feels very user friendly so getting started didn't take much time at all.

Cons

No complaints here... nothing stands out negatively. I genuinely thought the software was awesome.

Incredibly simple to use and the layout is simple to navigate visually.

Keeps prompting for referrals right on the front page which gets a bit distracting.

Pros

Using this program, I'm able to connect everything, track wages and employees and handle the company's day-to-day business management. It also works well for coordinating clients, like having a private secretary that can link relevant items together so the workflow stays organized.

Cons

It's solid overall though it would be great if the interface were improved a bit. When the number of people gets large, it starts to feel a little difficult to navigate.

Pros

Onboarding was simple and it's been really helpful for keeping track of pay and PTO while running payroll.

Cons

At certain points, the platform feels like there's a lot happening all at once which can be a bit overwhelming.

Pros

Login flow is simple and it's really helpful for confirming upcoming pay, reviewing past pay cycles and accessing tax forms when they're relevant for filing. I also found it simple to update my W-4 tax status as needed and that kind of self-serve control makes it convenient to stay current.

Cons

I didn't end up getting access to the full range of features during the time I used it. Since it's set up at our organization mainly for payroll only, there aren't any additional benefits included or available through it on my side.

“love the payday email reminders”

Pros

Really happy that it sends an email the same day I get paid. The little animations also feel nice and I can pull up my paystub without any hassle at all.

Cons

No complaints here, it has been working great for me.

Pros

It feels really simple to use as an employee. I appreciate how adaptive it is, everything is clearly labeled and I can find what I need without digging. When I want to review or adjust my HSA benefits or 401(k), the platform takes me right to the right benefits card and 401(k) areas quickly so I'm not bouncing between pages.

Cons

PTO accruals could be more adaptive. When PTO gets approved, I expected the system to automatically subtract it from my available PTO and stop showing both totals as if they were separate. It also seems like keeping accruals updated is tricky for our HR administrator especially when inconsistencies come up... so I sometimes have to track my PTO accruals myself to make sure the numbers are accurate.

Pros

Simplicity and ease of use are exactly what I appreciate most about it. Even the website feels simple while still being packed with useful information. Those features were the main reasons we chose it when we switched from our previous software.

Cons

After almost a year of using it, I honestly can't point out anything I dislike about it.

It's simple to use, the setup process is simple and employees can manage their own access to view pay stubs and W-2s without needing someone else to do it. That self-serve access has been a huge time saver for our team.

Cons

Customer service can be a bit hard to reach at times which is the one thing that could be better.
