Makes managing and scheduling referees easy

Pros

Handling schedules for our soccer refs has gotten way easier for me since I started using this. I can move around the tools without feeling lost and it helps me keep things organized without extra stress. What really won me over was how strong the features feel for everyday league needs plus the support team actually responds when I'm stuck. Setting it up didn't take long either and I like that I can match things with my Excel sheets whenever I'm sorting numbers. Ever since we brought it in, it's been steady and dependable.

Cons

Right now I honestly don't have anything negative to point out. I just wanted a simple tool that helps me handle schedules without stress and that's exactly what I'm getting from it.

Pros

Having the scheduling tools and automatic tax payments ready to go saves me a ton of time at work.

Cons

The messaging part of the app gives us trouble pretty often. My team keeps having to sign out and sign back in just to read new updates which gets annoying fast.

eliminates any confusion

Pros

Using it at my job has made handling schedules a whole lot clearer for me. I don't have to guess who's covering what and open shifts don't cause any confusion anymore. Moving around the app feels smooth and the best part is that it's free. Even folks who aren't into tech can pick it up easily. Getting it set up across our departments didn't take long and we completely dropped our old spreadsheets because of how much better this is. With everything it offers, I'd easily give it a 10 out of 10.

Highly recommended

Pros

Paying my staff only takes a few moments now which makes my day so much easier. I can check when everyone clocks in or out without needing extra tools and handling time?off requests is quick and organized. My team didn't struggle when we switched over so the whole change felt smooth. The way Homebase handles payroll and time tracking together saves me a lot of stress and I'd definitely suggest it to other owners.

most reliable tool for daily operations

Pros

Been using Homebase for over five years and I honestly love it. Everything runs smoothly from scheduling to time tracking to team communication. It saves me time, new employees learn it fast and it always functions reliably. I've tried other tools before but nothing has worked as well as this for daily operations. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants something dependable and simple to work with.

Cons

I don't have any major complaints. If I had to mention something, maybe the new color theme isn't my favorite.

Simple to clock in and out

Pros

I like how simple it is for me to clock in and clock out whenever I'm working.

Cons

Using the iPhone version makes it a little tough for me to check what's coming up in my schedule and the desktop site doesn't offer as many options as I wish it did.

Pros

Cuts down a lot of the back-and-forth by handling schedules, sending reminders and updating changes right away. It saves me from juggling everything on my own.

Cons

I noticed that some of the tools like detailed reports only come with the paid packages. Those prices feel pretty high for what I personally need.

It's convenient, lets me message the whole team and the geofencing feature helps keep everyone on track.

Pros

I like that I can send documents straight to the team. Getting everyone set up during onboarding wasn't difficult at all.

Cons

I've had a hard time working with it because it doesn't make things simple for employees. Checking pay stubs, viewing schedules and sorting expenses should be easier than this.

makes communication easy

Pros

My whole team stays in the loop because it's easy for us to talk through the app. We get updates quickly even during different shifts and having the schedule right there takes out a lot of guesswork.

Cons

The one thing that gave us trouble was the scheduling setup. Nobody on the team could ask for days off or request specific days which created stress here and there even though we always managed.

Pros

I tell other small businesses to try Homebase because it makes scheduling so much easier. It works reliably and I can change things from my desk or while I'm out with my phone.

User-friendly software

Pros

It is simple to work with and it helps us manage a big staff without running into confusion. The colors and layout make things easier to read and using the mobile app keeps everything moving even when I'm away.

Cons

Would be great if the iPhone and Android versions looked and behaved the same. It would also help if we could change the schedule without having to repost everything from scratch.

all-in-one scheduling

Pros

My work has gotten easier because everything I need is in one spot. My team and I can build schedules, swap shifts, request time off and find coverage without chasing each other all week. It's made our routine a lot smoother.

Cons

Even though I like using it, the app still has a few rough spots. My staff struggles a bit when they try to ask for time off or set their availability on their phones. If they could adjust or remove their requests more easily, it would make things smoother for everyone.

Pros

Homebase helps me track my team's hours and I can also check my pay stubs before my paycheck arrives which I really appreciate.

Pros

Posting schedules and checking everyone's hours feels way simpler for me now that I'm using this platform. I can see who's on break, who's clocked in and what's lined up next without digging around.

Cons

At times the location check gives me a hard moment because it doesn't pick up where I am right away which slows me down when I'm trying to clock in.

has a lot of potential

Pros

Using this tool for shifts, tracking hours and chatting with the team has made our daily routine a lot smoother. The layout is easy to work with, updates appear instantly and everyone knows what's happening. My team likes checking their shifts, swapping coverage and clocking in from their phones. Support actually replies quickly when we reach out, which makes things even better. I'd recommend it to any business that wants to stay organized and save time.

Cons

There are moments when the app acts up especially during clock-ins or clock-outs. It doesn't always pick up the punch immediately which throws off our records. Notifications also act strange sometimes and schedule updates don't always reach the whole team instantly. Some of the stronger tools are locked behind paid plans which makes things tricky for smaller groups. With a bit more polishing, it could really shine.

Pros

I like how easy it is to build schedules and message the team when we need to communicate something fast.

Cons

After the recent messaging update, I'm not loving the layout. Everything being separated by location makes it harder for me because I liked seeing all conversations together on one screen.
