“Great for teams working remotely”
Pros
Homebase is an amazing tool especially for teams that work in the field or from home. The app is easy to use and when someone has trouble clocking in while they're out working, it's simple to go in and fix their time. There's also a notes section employees can use to send a message along with correction requests which helps a lot.
Cons
The only thing I don't care for is the recurring feature that limits employees from clocking in unless they're within a certain radius. We don't want to use that setting and it keeps popping up so I end up having to back out of the software to avoid it.

“Quick onboarding with simple setup”
Pros
It is very user friendly and since a lot of people already know how to use the software, the onboarding process ends up being much easier.
Cons
A few features are locked behind extra charges so some functions won't work unless you pay an additional fee.

“limited punch control”
Pros
Homebase is easy to use and setting it up and rolling it out didn't take much effort.
Cons
At the time we used it, it didn't let us manage punches the way we needed. That may have changed since we were a customer.

“Payroll help for smaller teams”
Pros
Running a small business seems a lot more manageable with this software. It really helps with payroll and reviewing or updating employee timesheets is very easy. On top of that the customer service has been outstanding.
Cons
There are limits to what it can handle. The payroll side is very basic and simplified and supporting employees through the onboarding process is not nearly as simple.

“easy home scheduling plus team messaging”
Pros
Being able to let employees check their schedules from home has been really helpful since they can keep track of their hours and swap shifts with other team members when needed. The messaging feature is also a big plus because we can reach one person or the whole team and keep a record of conversations, questions and corrections. I have also really loved HR Pro as it has been extremely useful for HR questions and policy changes before rolling things out.
Cons
One issue we've run into is with notifications. Every couple of months, it seems like either Android users or Apple users suddenly stop getting them. When that happens, communication with the team breaks down.

“provides clear budget view”
Pros
One thing I really like about it is how much faster it makes my work when planning staff for my business. The app gives me both team calendars and budget forecasting which helps me stay organized and manage everything more efficiently.
Cons
Honestly there's very little I dislike about this app. If I had to mention one downside, it would be that the service is paid but the price is still quite affordable compared with other apps that handle the same kind of tasks.

“Paycheck advance truly saves lives”
Pros
One of the best things about this app is the paycheck advance feature. After working enough hours on a shift, you can borrow from your upcoming paycheck if an emergency comes up and then it automatically pays itself back when payday arrives. There's no hidden catch and the whole process is really simple which is probably the biggest reason I enjoy using the app so much.
Cons
My only real complaint is that I have not been able to reach customer service by phone or even by email. A few times I needed help but I couldn't find a phone number and although I did find an email address, I never got a response. Even with that issue, I'd still give the app a 5-star rating.

“Scheduling works on every device”
Pros
Using Homebase on both mobile and desktop has been really convenient and the scheduling features are probably the best part.
Cons
I honestly do not have many complaints at this point. The only issue that comes up sometimes is that it will not let employees clock in and they end up having to download the app again.

“Timeclock integration comes in handy”
Pros
We mainly used the time clock because it worked with PayActiv and Paychex. Since our scheduling setup is a bit unconventional, that part wasn't especially helpful for us but the system itself looked very easy to use.
Cons
Getting the reports exactly the way I wanted could be frustrating at times.

“Reliable planning with helpful notifications”
Pros
Having a tool like this makes strategic planning much more manageable for professionals. The calendar features and notifications help keep everything organized and improve efficiency especially when dealing with large volumes of information on a regular basis. It also includes monitoring capabilities and several other useful functions which makes it a very necessary resource in a professional work setting.
Cons
Honestly I have not run into any issues with it and it has worked consistently for me once I understood how valuable the tool is. Overall it feels like the kind of platform that really supports professionals with heavy workloads by helping reduce the pressure and creating a better working environment.

“Scheduling syncs perfectly with POS”
Pros
Homebase works really well for basic scheduling and time tracking and the POS integration is a big plus for us.
Cons
One annoying thing is that when the app opens, it shows the last schedule you viewed even if you need a different day. To see the correct schedule, you have to switch to another day first and then go back to the day you actually want.

“all employee tools in one hub”
Pros
Homebase has been really useful because it covers much more than just scheduling, timesheets and payroll. It also gives me a direct way to communicate with both managers and coworkers through messaging and chat. I can see my schedule as soon as it's posted, check my time clock and pay schedule and look back at both current and past hours and pay whenever I need to.
Cons
