Quick onboarding and helpful support

Pros

I found it really simple to use when getting started with a new job. The whole setup process was clear and simple to follow so I never felt lost while onboarding. Whenever I had a question I received support very quickly which made the experience feel even more reassuring.

Cons

What stood out as a drawback for me is that it still doesn't feel very mobile-friendly. I'd really like to see a version that works better for people who are often on the go and usually need to access the platform from their phones.

smooth onboarding and payments

Pros

Using Horizons made the onboarding process feel really simple for me and I found it much simpler to monitor all of my payments from one central place.

Cons

Honestly I didn't run into any problems at all. From my experience everything worked reliably and I felt the platform was very user-friendly throughout.

Full control over my info

Pros

What stands out most to me is the employee management side of the platform. I genuinely feel like I have control over my own personal details, payroll information, time off and benefits instead of relying on HR to access everything for me. As an employee I really appreciate having all of that information available in one user-friendly place and it makes the whole experience feel much more transparent and empowering.

Cons

One issue I've run into has been updating documents. I'm not sure whether certain files are failing because there's a size limit in place or if I'm just missing a step somewhere but that part has been a little frustrating for me.

Pros

Using Horizons' platform has given me a really smooth and engaging experience. I found it simple to move around and the overall setup feels user-friendly and well organized. What stood out even more to me was how efficient and dependable the customer support has been especially when more complicated topics came up. From my perspective the experience has been consistently positive and I'd absolutely recommend it to others.

Cons

helpful onboarding and clear portal

Pros

From the moment I started the hiring and onboarding process, everything felt well organized and simple. I found the portal simple to move around in and all the information I needed was clearly laid out and easy to access. Whenever I had a question, I could rely on the team to respond and guide me right away. Their support really made the entire experience feel great.

Cons

During onboarding, I did notice a small issue in the HMO dependent section of the portal. After I contacted the team by email, it was fixed quickly so it ended up being only a minor inconvenience and didn't really affect my overall experience.

payroll and tax worries gone

Pros

What I really appreciate about Remote People is that they take care of all the complicated parts, like payroll and taxes so I never have to stress about handling those things myself. It gives me a lot of peace of mind knowing that everything on the administrative side is being managed properly.

Cons

One challenge I've noticed, even though it's not directly caused by Remote People, is the indirect employment setup. Since I'm not technically employed directly by the company that brought me on, I sometimes feel like the treatment can be different and that can leave me feeling a bit on the outside rather than fully included.

Responsive support throughout onboarding

Pros

I've found it really helpful when it comes to handling all of our administrative needs and they've supported my transition into the company really well. From my experience the team has been highly responsive and always quick to provide the documents, requirements and clarifications I need whenever questions come up.

Cons

What I feel was missing though, was a more official onboarding resource at the start. I personally would have appreciated a quick meeting, a guide document or even a short video explaining what areas we can contact them for, how to navigate the website and details around HMO concerns, payroll matters and related topics, instead of having to reach out and ask about each one separately along the way.

What I appreciate most about it is that my salary always arrives on time which gives me real peace of mind. I've also found the reimbursement process to be simple and free of unnecessary hassle so I never feel stuck chasing expenses. On top of that, I feel confident knowing my employment contract is fully aligned with local regulations which makes the whole experience feel dependable and well managed.

Cons

Things have been excellent with Remote People overall. Whenever any issue came up, I saw it get handled quickly and without drama which honestly made a big difference for me. I genuinely don't have anything to complain about because the support has been consistently reliable and the whole process has felt very well taken care of.

What stood out to me most was how personal the whole experience felt. It never came across like they were just checking off tasks. Instead, I felt like the team really wanted to make sure I had everything in place to do well from day one. Getting started with it felt effortless for me from the very beginning. Their team has always been available whenever I needed help and I received clear, direct answers to every question I had. What I appreciated most was how simply everything was explained because the information was laid out in a simple way that made the entire onboarding process easy for me to understand and follow.

Cons

One thing I think could be improved is the leave application form. When I tried to apply for a half-day leave, I ran into some confusion because the color used to show half days was not clear enough for me to recognize right away.

It has been a really valuable tool for handling payroll tied to cross-border employment agreements. support team never disappoints

Pros

So simple to use. It has been a really convenient platform for managing my HR-related needs and checking my payslips whenever I need to. I can also contact the support team if I have any questions which gives me extra peace of mind while using it.

Cons

One thing I do not enjoy is having to complete a timesheet every single week. From my perspective if I have not submitted a leave request, the system should automatically assume that I worked my full regular week.

Pros

positive experience overall

I've found it very simple to use and the interface feels clear and user-friendly from the start. So far my experience with the platform has been really positive and I've genuinely enjoyed using it.

Cons

Personally, I wouldn't say there's anything I truly dislike about Horizons though a few features haven't felt as useful for me based on how I work especially the time tracking tool. I haven't had a chance to test the leave request feature yet but I expect it should function well when I do. If anything ever comes up, I feel confident that the customer support team would be there to help.

The whole experience has been smooth. As a contractor, being paid on time matters a lot to me and Horizon HR has consistently delivered without any problems. I also find the platform very simple to use, with everything I need available right where I expect it to be. On top of that, I really value how quickly their team responds whenever I reach out with a question or need assistance.

Cons

Haven't faced any major problems so far. If I had to mention one small thing, I'd say the interface could look a bit more modern but that's honestly just a minor personal preference. From a functionality standpoint, it has worked really well for me.
