User friendly - admin, managers & employees

Pros

Very user friendly for all users. As an admin the help desk via email is very responsive with quick solutions.

Cons

I struggle sometimes to find the help guides on my own via the web search.

Good for HR Managers

Pros

iSolved has a very streamlined, efficient payroll product. It integrates seamlessly with our HR systems which has saved us so much time and money! They have a friendly and very knowledgeable customer service team.

Easy to use and have great functions

Pros

In my experience with the iSolved product I have found the system very easy to use. I like the university that houses all the information for the different applications that a person can access and research to make sure you are using the programming effectively. I do like the adaptability of the system to add different platforms as needed to help manage the business. The new APP is a great improvement over the previous version and the employees are finding it easy to use and appreciate the functionality.

Cons

With the cafeteria style programming it can get expensive when every tool or request seems to be an additional charge. The only other concern I have is the response time from support. They always do respond and are very helpful in solving issues. The lag time in response is my only concern.

isolved is amazing

Pros

Absolutely the best "off the shelf" payroll and HRIS technology available to Professional Employer Organizations. Outshines Prism HR on literally every front.

Cons

quick to use with great help

Pros

Interface is very clean and efficient and integrating it into our existing systems was smooth. What really stands out though is the customer service and it's been exceptional. Mary Murphy deserves special recognition for consistently going above and beyond with troubleshooting and helping us navigate any issues. Her in-depth support has made all the difference.

Cons

The only real downside is that I can't think of many complaints... which I guess is actually a good thing!

awesome customer support!

Pros

interface is very interactive and adding it to our existing setup was pretty painless. What really impressed me is the customer service. it's been outstanding. Mary Murphy truly deserves recognition for always going the extra mile with troubleshooting and guiding us through problems. Her thorough support has genuinely made all the difference.

Cons

I don't have any significant negatives to point out, the sole drawback I can think of is that I don't really have many complaints. which to be honest, may actually be a plus.

Great tools but costs add up

Pros

I have worked with incredibly knowledgeable professionals who are absolute rockstars, they're experienced, kind and always responsive. I've never been disappointed with the service and every department really knows their stuff. I couldn't recommend this HRIs solution more highly to anyone searching for the right fit!

Cons

While the modules are really valuable, the pricing can add up quickly when you start activating multiple features.

simple system, old phone app

Pros

I've worked with several other platforms before and this one definitely stands out with superior functionality and support. The interface is simple and doesn't require much of training to get comfortable with.

Cons

The mobile app feels very outdated and could really use some improvements especially since it's still fairly new.

great platform, dated mobile app

Pros

Having used alot of other platforms in the past, I can tell this one really rises above the rest thanks to its flexible features and responsive support. The layout is user-friendly and I didn't need to spend much time learning how to use it comfortably.

Cons

On the downside the mobile app seems rather dated and I think it needs several updates and refinements even though the product itself is still relatively new.

Outstanding support with all needed HR features

Pros

Outstanding customer support. Whenever I run into an issue or have questions, I can almost always reach someone who's both helpful and knowledgeable to guide me through things. Plus it has all the HR features our small business needs for under 100 employees. Just recently Rebecca Markham from customer service went way above and beyond to help me out and she was incredibly kind and efficient throughout the whole process!

Cons

Interface works fine overall but it's not always simple and could use some polish to make getting around smoother.

Great help

Pros

Customer support here is amazing, whenever I hit a snag or have a question, I can almost always get hold of someone who's both helpful and really knows their stuff to walk me through it. On top of that, it covers every HR feature our small company needs for under 100 employees. Just the other day, Rebecca Markham from customer service went well beyond what I expected to assist me and she was so kind and efficient the entire time!

Cons

The specialist groups, like integrations and insurance can be inconsistent, they've disappointed me a few times when I really counted on their know-how. The interface generally works but I don't find it very smooth and it could use some refinement to make getting around it much smoother.

very frustrating and unhelpful support team

Pros

The customization options are really flexible and work well for our needs. The calendar view for tracking time is convenient and makes it easy to see everything at once.

Cons

I've been really disappointed with the customer service. The reps are dismissive and refuse to hop on a phone call to clear things up especially the second-tier support. I've waited weeks for responses and that's usually only after I've followed up multiple times. It's so frustrating when questions that can't be answered right away on a call rarely get resolved without me sending several follow-up emails. I've even had support cases automatically closed while I was still waiting for answers from their tech team. The report writer is powerful but definitely not user-friendly. There are tons of columns with identical or similar titles that actually show completely different data. You can't see what options you'll have until you start building the report and you can't even schedule reports to run automatically. Setting up simple things like a new vacation plan or pay rates, requires going through multiple screens and most items have the same names. For example, to create an alternate pay rate, I had to go to two completely different places in the system. There's no guidance and even their support team doesn't know all the places you need to configure. When I asked them to set up a vacation plan, I had to contact support three separate times before it actually worked.

very bad support

Pros

I am very pleased with how flexible the customization settings are, they adapt to what we need without forcing us into awkward workarounds. Also, the calendar layout for tracking hours is super handy, it gives me a clear, at-a-glance view of everything so I can quickly see who worked when and how time is being used across the team.

Cons

Customer support has been a major letdown for us, they come across as dismissive and refuse to jump on a phone call to actually sort things out, particularly the second-tier team. I've waited weeks for replies, and most of the time those replies only come after I've chased them multiple times. It gets so aggravating when questions that can't be answered on a quick call rarely get resolved without me sending multiple follow-up emails, and I've even had tickets closed automatically while I was still waiting for the tech team's response. The report writer is powerful but a pain to use. There are endless column choices with almost identical or very similar labels that in practice display completely different information, so you don't know what you'll actually get until you start piecing the report together and there's no option to schedule reports automatically either. Adding new things like vacation plans, earnings codes or different pay rates is needlessly complicated because you have to jump through several screens and many items carry the same names in different places. For example, to set up an alternate pay rate you have to visit both Client Management/Payroll/Alternate pay rates AND Client Management/Labor & GL/Default Labor Rates and there's no clear guidance about which screen to use for what. Even their support staff don't seem to know all the spots you need to configure and when I asked them to create a vacation plan it took three separate support interactions before it was actually set up correctly. The constant turnover among support reps makes things worse. nobody stays long enough to become familiar with our account. We've gone through four different representatives in just two years, and our current rep often brushes off problems or gives incorrect guidance because he simply doesn't understand how our setup is configured. Several upgrades have broken things that were working before. one update outright removed our Disability and Life Insurance plan options. On top of that, employees at the company have made changes to our system without consulting anyone from our side which is unacceptable. Their new "adaptive" look is limited in functionality and was pushed out as the default for new hires way before it was complete. The tax wizard still doesn't function properly, and the tax updates wizard crashes on Apple devices and frequently in Chrome as well.

Easy hiring, slow answers

Pros

Like the onboarding platform through Isolved Hire and it organizes my workflow and lets me tackle other priorities. The interface is incredibly user-friendly which makes everything flow smoothly. The candidate matching feature is brilliant since it scores applicants based on their skills for specific roles. Our entire process has been running much more efficiently since we started using the onboarding system.

Cons

If I had to pick something, it would be how long it sometimes takes to hear back when I need help. Most of the time I get answers very quickly but there have been a few times where I was left waiting longer than I'd like.

Buggy but capable

Pros

applicant tracking works well and getting new people set up is smooth. The employee self-service features are good enough when they're working properly.

Cons
