Most troublesome program ever!

Isolved - a payroll prodcut to slove your needs

Pros

Personally, I've found iSolved to be quite user-friendly, with a relatively smooth learning curve. I do have a few minor suggestions about how report options and labeling could be improved.

Cons

reporting integration between the time card system and payroll has room for improvement also, I suggest improving data retrieval and query options.

Payroll processing and HR data entry in one place is great

iSolved has really stepped up the game with its technology, making it so easy to centralize all HR and payroll data. Plus, knowing it's safe and accessible from anywhere is a huge relief.

Very responsive but too many clicks

Pros

support team is amazingly quick to respond and they're always on hand to help whenever I need assistance.

Cons

A fantastic tool

Pros

Working with Kathryn Baldwin has been excellent, she's always very helpful each year with my questions and makes certain our open enrollment proceeds smoothly. I genuinely value her partnership and support.

Cons

There's an incredibly annoying coding bug that originated when they purchased The Payroll Company. it continually associates our account with some unrelated organization called InStream Solutions, which we have absolutely no connection to. That mix-up constantly disrupts our tax filings and new hire registrations. I've contacted numerous people, sent emails and made phone calls, but no one seems able to resolve it.

Too many choices, too many risks

There are tons of features to dig into and the reporting tools really impress me, delivering exactly what I need.

Great service but slow changes

Outstanding Support Experience

Pros

Their support team gets back to you quickly and actually takes the time to dig into issues when you need help. I recently had an exceptional ACA compliance session with Erin Turner. she was amazing and really knew her stuff. Our account manager, Annemarie Jarcho, kept checking in to make sure we connected and I'm so glad she persisted. That conversation really opened our eyes to a whole bunch of features we didn't even realize were already available to us.

Cons

Honestly, I can't think of anything I dislike about this system at the moment. After moving over from Jet Pay, the difference has been incredible and immediately noticeable. With Jet Pay, their customer service was awful. they would always say they needed to involve another support team who never followed up. We ended up having to chase them repeatedly for answers and constantly restart the process from scratch which was extremely frustrating.

truly fantastic help desk

Pros

support team here is truly outstanding, any time I have a problem or need clarification, every representative I've dealt with has been very helpful and quick to respond.

Cons

If I could change just one thing, it's the way everything resets while I'm using the time entry grid, aside from that issue, I think it's fantastic.

Fast help but clunky documents

Pros

Whenever I reach out with a question, the support team replies really quickly and I genuinely appreciate that prompt response.

Cons

I find that sending documents through DocuLink for signatures can feel somewhat clunky and it doesn't always perform as smoothly as I would expect.

complete hr and payroll tool

Pros

Since early 2017 I've been using it and it genuinely covers every angle we need. Its payroll module is flexible and integrates smoothly with both POS systems and spreadsheet uploads. I especially value how it aligns all of our HR responsibilities and the hiring/recruitment tools have been vital in building and supporting our team. Overall it's been a reliable, all-in-one solution for us.

Cons

Lately I've noticed the quality of customer service has slipped over the past few years. I used to have a single point of contact, but that's no longer the case. now everything is routed through a general email address and response times are slower. It often feels like I'm being passed between different people every time I reach out.

Simple and Reliable 401K Tool

Pros

We've got a system that packs alot of tools and plenty of settings to tailor it to our company's requirements. Today, Janet Froman truly went out of her way to walk me through the 401(k) safe harbor math in our payroll reports. She handled every question with professionalism, deep knowledge and calm patience. her help was the key to finally getting everything straightened out.

Cons

I would prefer if we were assigned a single, dedicated customer service representative to handle our account.

Don't know how I survived without it.

Pros

Managing a team across different states has been a breeze with iSolved. I love how it handles state and federal tax reporting, direct deposit, and even has a mobile app for expenses processing.

Easy integration but terrible support

Pros

At first glance, the interface felt sleek and professional which immediately caught my eye. I also loved that the ATS connected neatly with our HRIS. that link simplified several workflows and made day-to-day processes noticeably easier.

Cons

Honestly the support team has been awful. they consistently point fingers at our organization instead of offering real help. Their response times are painfully slow, and when they eventually reply, the fixes they provide usually don't solve the problem. We've experienced offer letters failing to send and watched requisitions vanish without explanation. The entire platform feels glitchy and unreliable. From my perspective they've put all their effort into flashy sales pitches and demos, leaving customer support neglected. Even the reports are frequently incorrect, often about half the time.

Modernized our hr completely

Pros

I am really impressed with how easily it handles payroll and consolidates HR data into one platform. It has pushed our tech stack forward to current standards. Having the ability to reach all systems from any location while keeping security tight is amazing.

Cons

We've had recurring communication problems with the vendor. At one point they modified a system report without any notification and now the report no longer supports our workflows. on top of that, they're proposing a paid custom report to restore functionality. In addition, there's an automated email feature that consistently fails to reach our inbox when messages are sent through it and we've double-checked that the issue isn't coming from our end.

Reliable with excellent support

Pros

For several years I've relied on it at my company and I'd confidently suggest it to coworkers who are evaluating an HCM solution. More recently I've been notably impressed by the tax team. in our organization they respond to urgent matters with real efficiency and care.

Cons

Having dedicated specialists for different functions is helpful but it gets annoying when my issue requires me to coordinate with several departments. sometimes I really wish there was a single point of contact who could manage everything from beginning to end. It would simplify things a lot for me.
