“Impressive system
Pros
I was genuinely impressed with how user-friendly it was right from the start.

There are different iSolved websites and I often have a hard time finding the right link I need.

“A well-organized & efficient system
Pros
How well-organized everything is. I'm not wasting time clicking through a dozen menus to find what I need.
Cons
I don't have many complaints but probably the occasional lag or slowdown.

“Totally a nightmare !
Pros
I really liked that I got to meet with a sales representative face-to-face.
Cons
Oh, I just loved that I was constantly getting hit with extra service fees every single time I looked at the payroll. And I also loved how my sales representative disappeared the moment I signed the contract. Suddenly, he didn't know anything and couldn't do a thing to help me.

“useful but has accessibility issues
Pros
iSolved is very informative and has variety of content for growth and development. It's really helpful.
Cons
Some of the content feels outdated and support often takes a long time to get back to you, especially if there's a problem with accessing courses.

“efficient but constantly changing
Pros
I love how user-friendly it is. It's also really easy to teach my clients how to use it.
Cons
I am not a fan of all the changes they make to things that were already working perfectly fine.

“simple tool with a clean app
Pros
It's easy to use, the mobile app is clean and it has everything we need to get the job done.
Cons
I'd love more flexibility to really make things our own. Also, some parts of the main app feel a bit dated compared to the newer sections, and it would be great if all the different People Cloud apps worked together more smoothly, they sometimes feel like separate tools rather than one unified system.

“clean design but changes too fast
Pros
The design is clean and easy to look at. Plus, when we suggest something, the developers really listen and make improvements.
Cons
It feels like it's changing too much, way too fast. It's hard for me to keep up with everything.

“Good for training, awkward for tracking
Pros
What I like most is iSolved University. We needed a place to host all our employee training videos and I think this is a good platform for that. You can create different pathways for each position, which makes onboarding much easier.
Cons
The vacation tracking process feels awkward and concerning. Honestly, the whole 'People Cloud' system seems overly complicated for a small business like ours. While it might just be a mismatch for our needs, I believe the platform could be significantly more user-friendly with some simplification

“flexible system for a growing company
Pros
One of the best features for me is definitely the system's flexibility. As our company has grown and our processes have evolved, we've been able to customize it to match our new needs.
Cons
I wish the scheduling feature was more powerful and the same goes for the report writer.

“best software
Pros
My experience with this software has been very positive. The support team is fantastic, always responding quickly and resolving issues, often within an hour. I’m very satisfied with the service and how attentive they are.
Cons
The home screen on the desktop version feels a bit basic. It would be great if it were more engaging and visually appealing.

“Old Timeforce was perfect for our needs
Pros
we used their old timekeeping software, Timeforce. It was perfect for our company and our timekeeping needs on construction sites.
Cons
we tried to switch to their newer timekeeping platform but it couldn't do what we needed. We ended up having to switch to a completely different timekeeping software.

“An overly complicated application process
Pros
There isn't a single thing about this software that I like.
Cons
I use it as the direct deposit provider for Sage 50. The application process is a nightmare. You have to fill out this long form with all your business and personal info. On top of that, they demand a letter from your bank with all your details. But the worst part is they need to be able to call the person who signed the letter to verify it. What's the point of a letter on official bank letterhead then? This is a huge problem for my clients who use TD Bank because their branches can't do these letters, corporate handles it and you can't just call the signer. Compare that to QuickBooks, where you just log into your bank through Plaid and you're done in 30 seconds. QuickBooks has its flaws but iSolved has made this a convoluted waste of time. Finally, their customer service reps are so robotic like they're AI chatbots. They have no sympathy for how difficult this process is and just say "tough" when you can't jump through all their unnecessary hoops.

“trapped in a terrible auto-renewal
Pros
We got switched over to isolved automatically because the smaller local payroll company we used got purchased by them. It all happened pretty fast and we didn't really have an option to choose something else, which was very frustrating.
Cons
Be very careful with these guys! When we signed up, the transfer paperwork had a "terms and conditions" link. I clicked it and didn't see that there's a 1-year auto-renewal buried in the fine print. We missed our cancellation deadline by just 60 days and now we're stuck paying for 10 more months of a service we don't want. The whole system looks ancient and is so frustrating to use. They constantly make mistakes, like issuing the wrong payroll. We actually had to ask our employees to give money back because of their error! They also missed tax filings and payments. The list just goes on. We sent our cancellation notice on 11/20/24 and didn't get the paperwork back until 12/24, when we were already closed for the holidays.

“team that truly listens
Pros
Their customer service is just outstanding. They're always ready to jump in and help and they actually listen to what I need.
Cons
sometimes when I email support, it takes them a while to get back to me. I've found that if I just pick up the phone and call, I get help right away.

“fantastic guidance but costly tool
Pros
My rep was fantastic, she really knew her stuff. She walked us through every single step and made the whole process feel so easy. She helped us align our operations, which was a huge help.
Cons
I am very disappointed with the extra costs for integrations and add-on features. It feels like you have to pay extra for everything.

“Quick and friendly support, slow system
Pros
Whenever I have a problem and reach out, their support team is super quick to respond and really friendly. Most of the time, they fix everything on that first call. Every once in a while, for trickier stuff they have to make a ticket but that's okay.
Cons
submitting cases through their system feels kind of impersonal. I miss talking to someone directly and it often takes longer than I'd like to get a resolution. It's frustrating when you need a quick answer. On the plus side, they recently added a status tracker so you can see where your case is which is really helpful. I will say, they seem to be constantly working on improvements and trying to add new services which is good.

“Powerful platform, access headaches
Pros
The support team is always there when I need them and the timecard system works like a charm. But what really blew me away was how smooth onboarding was, all the company assets were just ready to go. The eVerify integration saves me so much time and having benefits sync up automatically is a lifesaver. The isolved ATs connection is a game-changer for recruiting too.
Cons
It's so frustrating! I can see tools like WOTC and the support Hub in the menu but when I click on them, it tells me I don't have access. Why show them to me if I can't use them?

“all-in-one solution, clunky interface
Pros
I love having so many features all in one spot.... it just keeps everything neat and organized. And the customer service team is consistently great and they're always excellent and ready to help me out.
Cons
The interface could definitely use an upgrade. Both the main admin panel and the mobile app feel a bit clunky and aren't as easy to use as they should be.

“an expert guide when we were lost
Pros
Liz made everything so much easier for us. She was so nice and really knew how to set up our grossed-up taxable fringe benefits correctly. Honestly we would have been lost without her!
