“a great service ruined by a merger
Pros
I was a big fan of the original company we signed up with, which was called Complete Payroll Systems. They were fantastic. But once they merged with isolved, the quality of service took a real nose dive and it's just not the same anymore.
Cons
The customer service is non-existent. The interface is complicated and not all of our data is available online. It seems like even the senior management doesn't care about helping customers. To top it off, they keep sending W2s to the wrong address!

“perfect all-in-one convenience
Pros
I really like the convenience of being able to log in and see all my information in one place. My pay stubs, my tax forms, my time-off balance.
Cons
I have no complaints! They are a great company with great customer service.

“Excellent once past the initial training
Pros
It is a best tool for keeping everything stored and accessible in one spot.
Cons
The hardest part was the initial training and setup, just learning where everything is and how to use it.

“Responsive and reliable support
Pros
support service is so responsive. Even if my main rep is out and I send an email, I get a really fast reply. The person who filled in was also very helpful and knew what they were doing.
Cons
It's hard to find any real downsides. Maybe just the learning curve that comes with any new system but their support team makes it pretty manageable.

“easy use hampered by clunky updates
Pros
It is so easy to use for updating and processing everything. And whenever I need to call for help, someone answers right away. The whole team is helpful and friendly. Alex helped me today and she was outstanding. I really appreciated her.
Cons
Email responses take longer than I'd like, though it has gotten a little better lately. The interface has too many tabs and when you change an employee from part-time to full-time, you have to remember to update different sections manually. I wish changing one thing would automatically update everything else, so I don't have to go hunting for all the places that need fixing.

Pros
I find it really easy to get around the system. Having all our HR tools in one spot has made my job so much easier. It's been a total game changer for us.

“Confusing to use
Pros
The support team has been fantastic. They've really helped us figure out how to use a complex HR system for the first time. We've been adding new parts over the last 8 months and so far, everything is running really smoothly.
Cons
The integration process has been really confusing because I've had to talk to about a dozen different people across different products. We were sold an "all-in-one" solution but it feels like a bunch of separate systems just bundled together. For a small team like ours without much HRIs experience, it's been overwhelming. To make it worse, they just launched a "New Look" interface but the content doesn't match what we set up in the old version. Now we're stuck giving our staff instructions for two different systems which just adds to the confusion.

“Messy tool, too many parts
Pros
Their support team has been good, they really helped guide us through implementing a fairly complex HRIS for the first time. Over the past eight months we've been rolling out different modules and so far everything is working smoothly and running as expected.
Cons
the integration process is really confusing because I've had to coordinate with roughly a dozen different people across multiple products and platforms. Although we were sold on this being an "all-in-one" solution, it often feels like several separate systems that were just bundled together. For a small team like ours with limited HRIS experience, managing all of that has been pretty overwhelming. To make things worse, they recently released a "New Look" interface but the content doesn't line up with what we set up in the classic version. Now we're stuck providing staff with guidance for two completely different UIs, which only adds to the confusion and extra work.

“a lifesaver from a fantastic rep
Pros
I have been using this for over a year and I really like the share and Perform part. I had a problem recently and Dee Dee from support was fantastic. She first tried to help me over email, but when that didn't work, she quickly set up a video call with me. She fixed my problem in just a few minutes! since I am still learning this part, she took extra time to walk me through everything. Her help was a lifesaver because I was stuck trying to get my new performance reviews started.
Cons
I've gotten the hang of the main workflows and I can't think of any issues right now.

“Outdated but a payroll upgrade
Pros
My favorite thing is the payroll. I like how the timecards just flow right in, I can preview checks before I finalize them and it's easy to edit details. It has made my job so much simpler. Our old system was terrible so this was somewhat better.
Cons
The interface feels really outdated compared to other systems and isn't even close to modern. Adding clients and jobs is a pain because you can only do it by importing spreadsheets which is inconvenient when we handle hundreds of jobs a month. Other platforms let managers add jobs directly and employees can add notes easily. Their mobile app is also dated compared to what's out there.

“terrible and misleading experience
Pros
I honestly can't think of a single good thing to say about this platform.
Cons
Communication from their team is terrible and they lock you into a 2-year contract without clearly mentioning it upfront, it's buried in the fine print. A lot of their staff don't seem to understand basic HR and payroll processes. I kept getting alerts about a missing account number and when I called for help, they said, "I'm not sure what that number is, so you should be fine." Well I wasn't fine and I'm still dealing with state tax issues because of their mistake. The user interface is absolutely awful too. They talk about new updates and better layouts but it's terrible. Simple tasks like updating employee details or running payroll are way more complicated than they should be and it's like the developers never actually talked to someone who uses this stuff every day.

“Very Bad service
Pros
To be honest, I can't come up with a single positive aspect of it.
Cons
Their team communicates terribly and they sneak a two-year commitment into the paperwork without making it obvious up front. it's hidden in the fine print. A lot of their staff seem to lack a basic grasp of HR and payroll fundamentals. I kept receiving warnings about a missing account number, and when I reached out for assistance someone told me, "I'm not sure what that number is, so you should be fine." That advice was useless. I was not fine and I'm still sorting out state tax problems caused by their incompetence. The user interface is shockingly bad as well. They boast about new updates and improved layouts but the reality is disappointing. Tasks that should be simpled, like updating employee information or running payroll, are overly convoluted. it feels like the developers never actually considered how people perform these everyday tasks.

“easy info access, difficult reporting function
Pros
Love that I can see all my staff info in one place. So easy.
Cons
I find the reporting tool really hard to use. There's no guide to help you figure things out and I keep accidentally making copies of information.

“Impressive but update heavy
Pros
This tool is seriously impressive. It does so much for payroll and just makes everything easier for my clients.
Cons
The updates happen way too often for my liking and sometimes they end up breaking stuff that was working fine.

“Solid HR Platform
Pros
love how comprehensive this tool is, it tackles a broad range of payroll functions that consistently make things easier for my clients and reduce our administrative workload.
Cons
Unfortunately, I find updates arrive far too frequently and more than once they've caused features to break or disrupted workflows we depend on.

“Top tier support, UI should be better
Pros
Their customer support is TOP tier. I call all the time and a real expert in my timezone picks up in like.. two minutes. The implementation team is next-level good whenever we add something new.
Cons
UI isn't always friendly. My whole team needed some training before we felt comfortable using it.

“Life-changing payroll with incredible support
Pros
My payroll anxiety is literally gone thanks to my amazing CsR! This program is so user-friendly, I live in it all day. Payroll is simple now.
Cons
It was pretty tough to learn at first. Also since it's all online with no physical office, some people might miss having that face-to-face option. Personally I haven't needed it.
