“Worth the cost for secure data
Pros
It was worth the cost because it securely stored all my employee data and was easy to use making it simple to move between different sections like recruitment and managing interviews.
Cons
The customer help team could improve as it often took some time to get someone to fix our problems but in general, it is an excellent tool.

“Made hiring much simpler
Pros
The Jobvite platform has made hiring much simpler for our recruiting team. The layout is also easy to understand and lets us schedule interviews and follow candidates through every hiring step without difficulty.
Cons
I feel like the reporting features could be modernized but for now we monitor that data elsewhere. However we have a good experience with the onboarding tracker but I think better reports would help us see how to improve our hiring.

“interface helped make hiring efficient
Pros
Jobvite interface is very easy for anyone to use. Overall it helped make our hiring process more efficient and saved us time. The tools for creating reports and analyzing data were also really useful for making choices based on facts.

Pros
I used Jobvite to create my profile when I got hired. But Workday was my main resource during onboarding, where I found all the forms I needed to complete and company information.

“simple to use with easy scheduling
Pros
My favorite things are how simple the product is to use. Plus being able to see preset questions in one window and the resume in another and the easy scheduling that connects directly to Outlook.
Cons
There were times when meetings scheduled through it to Outlook would not appear in both places. Sometimes they'd only be in Outlook or only on it. This was very frustrating because I had scheduled meetings that were part of my performance goals and if they were not logged in to this tool, I faced negative consequences. By the time we figured out this technical error, it was already too late for me.

“fairly easy to use program
Pros
What makes Jobvite special is that it is a very easy to use program that makes recruiting feel much less stressful. From setting up interviews and reviewing resumes to reaching out to candidates, everything happens with very little hands-on work. I mean it is almost like having an extra helper.
Cons
Even though it has many features, there are some parts that could be better. One thing I have noticed is that new users might find the system complex initially, particularly with the advanced customization and automation options. So without the right training and experience, finding your way through some tasks can feel annoying.

“great for internal jobs but the layout is confusing
Pros
I really like having a company system to look for internal job postings and to send referral links to people outside the company! Helpful parts of Jobvite include the Requisition section which is very clear and has detailed filters like a search bar, company, locations, department and job type. I also like that it shows the recruiter and hiring manager's names on the listings and has a simple way to see which jobs you can share. Finally I value the area that shows all your applications and their current status.
Cons
There are a few parts of its layout I think could be better. For example when you are in the Requisitions area looking at job listings, I can see a roles details if I click Info but if I click the job name or Go to Requisition, all the details appear empty. I also find the Jobvites section less user friendly than Requisitions. Finally I don't like that when you go to your applications and click a job title, there is no job ID number or clear way to identify that specific role except for the sometimes vague title. Also in the requisitions tab, I do not think there is any way to see if you have already applied for that job.

“Easy to use on your phone
Pros
Both people applying for jobs and the recruiters hiring can use the platform on their phones which makes handling the hiring process much easier when you are away from your desk.

I feel like there might be some restrictions for very specific or unusual needs that do not fit typical hiring methods. The cost can also be high especially for smaller businesses or startups with tight budgets.

Pros
Nothing as we only had problems with the software from the start. Our setup never actually finished because Jobvite's own team kept putting off deadlines.
Cons
Connections with other software are often promised but not fully delivered. They will say it works with all these applications but it does not or they want an extra $50k to make the connection work after telling you it would work from the start.

“Custom dashboards but lots of issues
Pros
The feature to build custom dashboards and how it connects with our main HR system is something I like about it.
Cons
It has a quite a lot of issues. Such as the system is not very adaptable for big companies. For example setting up different application forms whether shorter, longer or in other languages is taking an incredibly long time, even though we pay extra. Customer support sometimes lacks technical know-how. Also the candidate experience is poor. There is no portal so people have to re-enter their information. And it is very US-focused, with team meetings usually set for US West Coast times. There are frequent minor technical bugs too. Moreover if you have to built a website, you will find the career site backend is very outdated.

“Strong and well-organized system
Pros
The feature I liked most about Jobvite was its strong applicant tracking system. It gave us a smooth, well-organized place to handle applications, monitor candidate progress and work with the hiring team. Plus being able to customize the hiring steps and automate different parts of the process saved us a lot of time and boosted our overall productivity.
Cons
One thing I found a bit difficult about it was getting to know all its more advanced tools. While the simple parts were easy to learn making the most of some complex features took some time and practice. So better getting-started guides or video tutorials could help new users get comfortable faster.

Pros
It worked as needed. It was not as full-featured as other systems I have used but it did the job well enough. Though there were not many extra tools for reports, multi-site posting, diversity tracking, etc but it was good at gathering applicants and collecting feedback.
Cons

“Applicant tracking is easy to use
Pros
I use the applicant tracking feature the most. It makes it easy to create referral links that connect applicants directly back to you. I also like that there are several ways to share a job and that it gives you data on which posts perform best. Plus applicants move through stages making it simple to see their status. Though I am not in HR so I have not seen all of its functions but from a hiring manager's view, this product definitely does what it's supposed to!
Cons
The layout can be a little hard to get used to. Some buttons are in spots I would not guess and there are several ways to do the same task which causes confusion. Plus they recently updated their login for better security which is good but it is still not very smooth. When you get logged out, the page does not send you to the right login screen so I keep having to type in the correct web address manually.

“Complete solution for hiring needs
Pros
Jobvite is a complete solution for all your hiring and employment needs. It also offers different tools like HR/payroll, time tracking, onboarding, recruiting, surveys and a community to keep everything organized and easy to find. With this all in one system, we feel confident that every part of our business is managed carefully and professionally.
Cons

“simple, logical system we're satisfied with
Pros
One thing I really do like is how simple and logical the system is. That's a definite advantage. Yes a few things could be better but overall we are satisfied.
Cons
My main problem is the customer service. We had a great, informed salesperson before. But then we were assigned a project manager who mainly just forwarded emails and took days to reply. He was not a real PM as this person refused to collaborate. After setup, we got a representative who does reply to emails but it takes 3 to 4 days which is not good service. So overall I am very unhappy with the client support. On top of that, it is now been 3 months and we still have to keep our old applicant system running because they have not uploaded our old resumes. There is no completion date in sight and no apology. The customer care chat agents are kind but extremely slow as it takes about a week to get an answer. This is definitely their weak point.

“Excellent for tracking candidates
Pros
I used this when I worked in recruiting. It was excellent for tracking candidates and finding good resumes among the hundreds we got daily. It could even send rejection messages but at the time maybe this has changed it could not schedule one for later. Our usual practice was not to reject someone right away, even if their resume clearly did not meet our specialized requirements. That was the main area needing improvement. Otherwise it worked well and made our recruiting jobs easier.

It used to not allow you to schedule a rejection note to be sent later but maybe that is different now?

“Easy to use but company is going downhill
Pros
One thing I liked is how easy it was to use, how simple it was to train new people on the system and the automatic job posting feature. I used to like it much more but I will talk about that in later comments.
Cons
The new features never function properly and only create issues. The customer service is possibly the worst I have ever dealt with in my professional life. Plus the prices go up without any improvement in service. I would say the company is clearly going downhill as they only focus on buying other companies instead of building a system that works.

The search bar was one of my most-used features whenever I remembered a candidate's name and could type it in to find them.
