Jobvite Use Cases
Based on our analysis of user feedback and Jobvite’s current features, we have identified several use cases where the platform may be particularly useful:
High-Volume Employers Hiring For Seasonal Or Frontline Roles
Retail, hospitality, transportation, and other employers filling large numbers of hourly roles can use Jobvite to distribute jobs at scale and move applicants through screening faster. Recruiters can run targeted text campaigns, use keyword-based prescreening to route candidates, and let AI surface applicants that match job requirements.
Financial Services Firms Looking To Attract Specialized Candidates
Banks, wealth management firms, and other financial services organizations often recruit for positions that need specific certifications, technical skills, or experience. Jobvite's CRM allows recruiting teams to categorize candidates based on relevant skills and qualifications. This helps narrow the candidate pool and lets recruiters quickly reach specialized candidates.
Companies Filling Open Roles With Existing Employees
Organizations trying to retain experienced employees can use Jobvite Internal Mobility to identify internal candidates before sourcing externally. Employees can express interest in openings through an internal portal, while machine learning recommends roles based on factors such as skills, location, search history, and churn risk.
Recruiting Teams Re-Engaging Previous Candidates
Companies with large candidate databases may already have suitable applicants for new openings but struggle to find them again. Jobvite CRM's Auto Talent Rediscovery uses AI to identify previous candidates who match new roles and can automatically invite them to apply, allowing recruiters to reuse their existing talent pool rather than sourcing every position from scratch.
Is Jobvite Right For You?
If your organization hires across multiple teams or locations and needs a system that can keep recruiting workflows and hiring activity connected, Jobvite may be a suitable option. It runs on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and includes security monitoring through a dedicated security operations center. From a compliance and security perspective, Jobvite maintains SOC 2 Type 2 attestation and supports requirements associated with compliance regulations like GDPR and CCPA.

The software also offers a company benchmark report that enables companies to compare selected hiring metrics with benchmarks based on company size and industry. Its data exchange option lets you transfer recruitment data to external business intelligence and reporting tools.

This feature manages the referral process, including referral ownership, bonus eligibility, and probation periods. The system can match referred candidates whose qualifications match open positions and give employees updates on referral status without requiring recruiters to handle each inquiry manually.

“Made hiring much simpler”
Pros
The Jobvite platform has made hiring much simpler for our recruiting team. The layout is also easy to understand and lets us schedule interviews and follow candidates through every hiring step without difficulty.
Cons
I feel like the reporting features could be modernized but for now we monitor that data elsewhere. However we have a good experience with the onboarding tracker but I think better reports would help us see how to improve our hiring.
