“great for collecting feedback

Pros

To be honest the best thing about it is easily the feedback feature. Depending on your team and how you are performing, you can build up a whole collection of positive feedback that really shows your dedication to your role and your colleagues. Also it great for boosting morale. And let's be real it does not hurt when it comes time to ask for a raise.

Cons

It aims to cover a lot of ground but it does not always fully deliver. For example after a review, it generates a checklist from our discussion for the following week. While that's mostly a good thing, for some reason it feels like it falls a little flat.

Pros

It offers a simple way to keep tabs on how employees are progressing.

Cons

As per me it is not really built for monitoring measurable performance indicators or tracking bonuses.

I like how flexible the review cycles are and the Slack integration is a nice touch.

Getting the hang of it takes a little time but overall it is a fantastic tool.

Keep in mind that you need to go through a lot of training to be able to use all of its features effectively.

We use Lattice for setting both company-wide and individual goals. I like that it makes goals visible to everyone as I can see what others are working toward and they can see mine. This transparency helps with tracking growth, staying accountable and understanding how different departments contribute to the bigger picture.

Cons

The user interface is my biggest issue. I often find the navigation paths unclear which makes moving around the platform more difficult than it should be.

Lattices impact on employee engagement and development has been noteworthy as it helps us nurture a culture of performance and growth.

Cons

I have faced some limitations when customizing templates like performance reviews but I like that Lattice is continuously working to improve this area.

“Good Software. Not the best, but good

Pros

I really like the updates, 1x1s, semester reviews, OKRs and especially the ability to create knowledge trails.

Cons

Occasionally, the software has a few bugs that prevent updates from happening and its also difficult to transfer the same OKR to new semesters after closing.

Pros

I love how many different things I can accomplish with this tool: annual performance reviews, weekly 1:1s, giving kudos to coworkers and asking check-in questions about career goals and development! We have been using Lattice for over four years now and it remains our go to solution for all of these reasons.

Cons

Setting up different features in Lattice is not always simple. I spent a considerable amount of time learning how to create custom questions and templates. It would be helpful to have easier guides or instructions available within Lattice for users.

Lattice ease of use and customization options really stand out to me. The transition went smoothly and it was well-received across the team. I especially like the Q&A feature.

Cons

I have not found anything missing in the software so far.

The user friendliness is great. Setting up engagement surveys and performance management cycles is quite simple too.

I would prefer better reporting options for the engagement survey results.

What I really like about Lattice is how I can keep all my feedback, goals and 1:1 notes in one place. It makes the performance review season so much easier for me to manage.

There is nothing I dislike, though I only use the platform once a week or so.

“Nice tool for Growing Companies

Pros

Lattice is very easy when it comes to employee use. Whenever we introduce new products both leaders and employees pick up the navigation quickly.

Cons

Many features seem to be built on specific customizations or backend setups that do not connect seamlessly across platforms. For instance, some permissions are easy to create in the engagement platform but are not available in the Performance Platform. Additionally, there are Feedback Prompts in the system that are not customizable.

I like how easy Lattice is to use and its intuitive UI/UX. It feels like a product that anyone can navigate and learn quickly. I can gain better insights into how our team feels, performs and functions. It's been an excellent tool for us. Our marketing team even regards Lattice as a leader in overall branding strategy, the tool's appearance and its marketing materials.

Cons

I do not have a particular least favorite aspect, but there is always room for improvement and new features. Sometimes, the product roadmap focuses on areas we are not currently using or that do not fit our needs. However, when there are releases related to tools we do use, they are usually very beneficial and exciting.

I value the user-friendly platform that Lattice offers for all users. The data insights are very powerful in driving engagement and usage.

Cons

Some of the reports I try to download are a bit messy and require cleanup for quick stats.

Pros

Lattice has been a great addition to our company. Before we were using separate systems for tracking, surveys and performance reviews. Now, with Lattice, we have combined everything into one system. We are also able to handle tasks we could not before like creating meeting agendas.

Cons

We are looking forward to having a group meeting agenda option. I have heard its coming soon and I cannot wait!

Pros

Having a central place to manage 1:1s and performance reviews is a major improvement over managing these functions in a more ad hoc way such as through documents and note-taking apps.

Cons

I did like to see the option to sync action items from 1:1s or goals to other task management applications. Not having this feature leads to duplicate system management issues and a fragmented to-do list. It would also be great to document ad hoc meetings, in addition to recurring 1:1s, using the 1:1 template and functionality. Managing OKRs could be easier, especially with better sorting and bulk update options.

I wish it integrated with our HRIS system.

The back-end setup for surveys and reviews could be a bit more intuitive.
