Lattice has truly transformed things for us at NPX. It offers a full platform that boosts engagement, strengthens our people operations and gives us actionable insights with excellent data. We are using everything it has to offer, from 1:1s, feedback and growth tracking to performance reviews, engagement surveys and OKRs. The features are solid and easy to navigate which makes it simple for us to align our teams, monitor progress and encourage continuous growth. Lattices impact on employee engagement and development has been noteworthy as it helps us nurture a culture of performance and growth.
Cons
I have faced some limitations when customizing templates like performance reviews but I like that Lattice is continuously working to improve this area.

I really like the updates, 1x1s, semester reviews, OKRs and especially the ability to create knowledge trails.
Cons
Occasionally, the software has a few bugs that prevent updates from happening and its also difficult to transfer the same OKR to new semesters after closing.

I love how many different things I can accomplish with this tool: annual performance reviews, weekly 1:1s, giving kudos to coworkers and asking check-in questions about career goals and development! We have been using Lattice for over four years now and it remains our go to solution for all of these reasons.
Cons
Setting up different features in Lattice is not always simple. I spent a considerable amount of time learning how to create custom questions and templates. It would be helpful to have easier guides or instructions available within Lattice for users.

Lattice is very easy when it comes to employee use. Whenever we introduce new products both leaders and employees pick up the navigation quickly.
Cons
Many features seem to be built on specific customizations or backend setups that do not connect seamlessly across platforms. For instance, some permissions are easy to create in the engagement platform but are not available in the Performance Platform. Additionally, there are Feedback Prompts in the system that are not customizable.

I like how easy Lattice is to use and its intuitive UI/UX. It feels like a product that anyone can navigate and learn quickly. I can gain better insights into how our team feels, performs and functions. It's been an excellent tool for us. Our marketing team even regards Lattice as a leader in overall branding strategy, the tool's appearance and its marketing materials.
Cons
I do not have a particular least favorite aspect, but there is always room for improvement and new features. Sometimes, the product roadmap focuses on areas we are not currently using or that do not fit our needs. However, when there are releases related to tools we do use, they are usually very beneficial and exciting.

Having a central place to manage 1:1s and performance reviews is a major improvement over managing these functions in a more ad hoc way such as through documents and note-taking apps.
Cons
I did like to see the option to sync action items from 1:1s or goals to other task management applications. Not having this feature leads to duplicate system management issues and a fragmented to-do list. It would also be great to document ad hoc meetings, in addition to recurring 1:1s, using the 1:1 template and functionality. Managing OKRs could be easier, especially with better sorting and bulk update options.

Usability: Its easy to use for both admins and users. Feedback and Improvement: Unlike some companies where feedback seems to disappear, Lattice takes our feedback seriously and has used it to improve and enhance their products. Customer Service: Even though it operates as a ticketing system, all Livechat Agents and the Customer Care email team are responsive and knowledgeable. They also follow up to ensure that our questions are fully answered. User Interface: Its easy to navigate.
Cons
We were promised a rollout for one of the products but it never happened due to a reorganization. However, the product is back on the roadmap so I am excited to see it come to fruition. This is a minor issue but some products could be more user-friendly.

I find it useful for documenting and assisting managers and staff with one on ones. The goal setting options and customization are also great.
Cons
I did prefer a few more custom reports or tweaks. Lattice is directly linked to our HRIS so we cannot make changes in Lattice that are not reflected in the HRIS. For instance, if we want someone to be listed as a shared manager or supervisor in Lattice but do not want to make that change in the HRIS, its not possible.

Although Lattice has been very valuable, there are a few minor drawbacks. As a smaller company, we occasionally find that some data is unavailable in drill-downs, which limits our analysis depth. We did also like to see further development in integrating different components to create more complete talent profiles. The platforms features are comprehensive, but more seamless integration would help us get a fuller view of each employee. Despite these minor issues Lattice remains a powerful tool for performance management and employee engagement.

Managing goals is simple, performance management is quick and effective and the 1:1 functionality is fantastic. The Grow module makes it easy to identify the next steps for our team members.
Cons
I have some issues with the reporting aspects of OKRs. I end up exporting data into Excel and filtering it to get the information I need. The feedback and recognition features seem a bit more subdued than they could be. We faced challenges with different exchange rates that broke our merit cycle, forcing us to calculate this outside of Lattice. I am looking forward to having group meeting functionality similar to 1:1s.

I find the survey feature to be a really helpful tool for our company. We regularly use it throughout the year to gain valuable insights into employee sentiments. We also use the reviews feature twice a year for our performance feedback cycles. These tools are fantastic for managers, as they provide all previous feedback, 1:1s, updates and other data from Lattice when completing performance reviews.
Cons
I find navigating the data quite challenging with certain features. Some of the analytics are impressive and the survey information is excellent. However, for more detailed reporting, Lattice does not make it easy to find the data I am looking for like identifying which managers have not completed their downward reviews yet.

Cons
We have made some suggestions for features, mostly regarding Lattice Goals. I wish some improvements could be implemented incrementally. Grow is not widely used in our company but for those who do use it, we did like to ensure it remains available. It would be great to add it to those who want it.

The system functions smoothly. We rarely encounter bugs, and the modules seem to integrate well. Employees have readily adopted features like feedback, surveys, 1:1s, and reviews. I appreciate that I can impersonate an employee to see their view, which helps me provide effective troubleshooting. The customer support team is excellent.
Cons
Some parts of the system are not intuitive and require multiple clicks to access areas that should not be buried. For instance, a manager of managers who wants to check the progress of their direct reports on review completion during the review cycle has to dig through several screens to find the right one.

With Lattice, the platform is not only a great comprehensive "people success" suite of tools but also easy to use, implement and enhance, thanks to Lattice's fantastic client support team (tech support, implementation consultants, customer success reps, etc.). We initially bought Lattice to deal with a broken manual performance management process, but we have gained so much more. We now use the tool to manage and scale our compensation structure and practices across the organization and enhance our bonus payout process through Compensation Cycles. We are also developing career pathing tools to help our employees understand their potential career trajectory with us. This alone has significantly improved our people success strategy and we are still just beginning to explore the tool's full impact and capabilities.
Cons
There are two things to note: 1. Its not cheap but its worth every penny for the value it provides and 2. Its highly customizable with many capabilities. So, its essential to have a basic understanding or strategy for using the tools to maximize user adoption, spend and overall value.

For managing performance and boosting employee engagement, Lattices features are very helpful. Reviews, Feedback, 1:1s and Grow offer great tools to identify, record and improve each employees performance. All these features work together to create a comprehensive system. The Engagement feature is excellent for administering surveys, gathering feedback and building action plans, all within the platform. Plus, they have recently introduced AI to their platform, which is pretty impressive.
Cons
Setting up the platform or navigating it can be confusing and not very intuitive. For example, it sometimes takes extra clicks to get to where I need to be or I might need to upload a spreadsheet to change a specific option instead of simply adjusting a setting. Its not a deal-breaker but it can be confusing. Additionally, its more expensive than other options available.

Lattice is central to many of our management practices. I use the Updates feature to make our 1:1s more effective, and we also manage these meetings through Lattice. The Goal and Growth modules help us manage OKRs and Individual Development Plans which supports tracking and driving conversations between managers and teams. This setup also enhances transparency within our organization.
Cons
Administering surveys and reviews can be less intuitive to find or implement. I hope they continue to improve reporting and develop a more UX-focused admin panel!

We chose Lattice for its excellent integration with Slack. Pulse surveys are delivered via Slack which makes it very easy for employees to respond and engage. Once we implemented it, our participation rates soared and the team was very appreciative. The Lattice UI/UX is outstanding and I particularly like the 1:1 feature which improves the quality of 1:1s across the business.
Cons
Unfortunately, Lattice only covered performance management and we wanted to consolidate our tools into a more integrated stack. Since Lattice did not have HRIS capabilities at the time, we had to keep using BambooHR which added cost and complexity to our people stack. Additionally, the limited response capability for pulse surveys was a downside after moving from Officevibe.

We have been using Lattice for over four years now and it remains our go to solution for all of these reasons.
Cons
Setting up different features in Lattice is not always simple. I spent a considerable amount of time learning how to create custom questions and templates. It would be helpful to have easier guides or instructions available within Lattice for users.

Many features seem to be built on specific customizations or backend setups that do not connect seamlessly across platforms. For instance, some permissions are easy to create in the engagement platform but are not available in the Performance Platform. Additionally, there are Feedback Prompts in the system that are not customizable.

I do not have a particular least favorite aspect, but there is always room for improvement and new features. Sometimes, the product roadmap focuses on areas we are not currently using or that do not fit our needs. Cons
I did like to see the option to sync action items from 1:1s or goals to other task management applications. Not having this feature leads to duplicate system management issues and a fragmented to-do list. It would also be great to document ad hoc meetings, in addition to recurring 1:1s, using the 1:1 template and functionality. Managing OKRs could be easier, especially with better sorting and bulk update options.

Customer Service: Even though it operates as a ticketing system, all Livechat Agents and the Customer Care email team are responsive and knowledgeable. They also follow up to ensure that our questions are fully answered. User Interface: Its easy to navigate.

We were promised a rollout for one of the products but it never happened due to a reorganization. However, the product is back on the roadmap so I am excited to see it come to fruition. This is a minor issue but some products could be more user-friendly.

I did prefer a few more custom reports or tweaks. Lattice is directly linked to our HRIS so we cannot make changes in Lattice that are not reflected in the HRIS. For instance, if we want someone to be listed as a shared manager or supervisor in Lattice but do not want to make that change in the HRIS, its not possible.

The platforms features are comprehensive, but more seamless integration would help us get a fuller view of each employee. Despite these minor issues Lattice remains a powerful tool for performance management and employee engagement.

I have some issues with the reporting aspects of OKRs. I end up exporting data into Excel and filtering it to get the information I need. The feedback and recognition features seem a bit more subdued than they could be. We faced challenges with different exchange rates that broke our merit cycle, forcing us to calculate this outside of Lattice. I am looking forward to having group meeting functionality similar to 1:1s.

We also use the reviews feature twice a year for our performance feedback cycles. These tools are fantastic for managers, as they provide all previous feedback, 1:1s, updates and other data from Lattice when completing performance reviews.
Cons
I find navigating the data quite challenging with certain features. Some of the analytics are impressive and the survey information is excellent. However, for more detailed reporting, Lattice does not make it easy to find the data I am looking for like identifying which managers have not completed their downward reviews yet.

I appreciate that I can impersonate an employee to see their view, which helps me provide effective troubleshooting. The customer support team is excellent.
Cons
Some parts of the system are not intuitive and require multiple clicks to access areas that should not be buried. For instance, a manager of managers who wants to check the progress of their direct reports on review completion during the review cycle has to dig through several screens to find the right one.

With Lattice, the platform is not only a great comprehensive "people success" suite of tools but also easy to use, implement and enhance, thanks to Lattice's fantastic client support team (tech support, implementation consultants, customer success reps, etc.). We initially bought Lattice to deal with a broken manual performance management process, but we have gained so much more. We now use the tool to manage and scale our compensation structure and practices across the organization and enhance our bonus payout process through Compensation Cycles. We are also developing career pathing tools to help our employees understand their potential career trajectory with us. This alone has significantly improved our people success strategy and we are still just beginning to explore the tool's full impact and capabilities.
Cons
There are two things to note: 1. Its not cheap but its worth every penny for the value it provides and 2. Its highly customizable with many capabilities. So, its essential to have a basic understanding or strategy for using the tools to maximize user adoption, spend and overall value.

For managing performance and boosting employee engagement, Lattices features are very helpful. Reviews, Feedback, 1:1s and Grow offer great tools to identify, record and improve each employees performance. All these features work together to create a comprehensive system. The Engagement feature is excellent for administering surveys, gathering feedback and building action plans, all within the platform. Plus, they have recently introduced AI to their platform, which is pretty impressive.
Cons
Setting up the platform or navigating it can be confusing and not very intuitive. For example, it sometimes takes extra clicks to get to where I need to be or I might need to upload a spreadsheet to change a specific option instead of simply adjusting a setting. Its not a deal-breaker but it can be confusing. Additionally, its more expensive than other options available.

Lattice is central to many of our management practices. I use the Updates feature to make our 1:1s more effective, and we also manage these meetings through Lattice. The Goal and Growth modules help us manage OKRs and Individual Development Plans which supports tracking and driving conversations between managers and teams. This setup also enhances transparency within our organization.
Cons
Administering surveys and reviews can be less intuitive to find or implement. I hope they continue to improve reporting and develop a more UX-focused admin panel!

The Lattice UI/UX is outstanding and I particularly like the 1:1 feature which improves the quality of 1:1s across the business.
Cons
Unfortunately, Lattice only covered performance management and we wanted to consolidate our tools into a more integrated stack. Since Lattice did not have HRIS capabilities at the time, we had to keep using BambooHR which added cost and complexity to our people stack. Additionally, the limited response capability for pulse surveys was a downside after moving from Officevibe.

I really like the career and talent management features. They make tracking tasks easy and include some of the best employee engagement features. Its a great HR tool and also offers feedback management assistance.
Cons
Some users will need training to use Lattice properly but otherwise its great.
