“Solid Employee Engagement Platform

Pros

The system functions smoothly. We rarely encounter bugs, and the modules seem to integrate well. Employees have readily adopted features like feedback, surveys, 1:1s, and reviews. I appreciate that I can impersonate an employee to see their view, which helps me provide effective troubleshooting. The customer support team is excellent.

Cons

Some parts of the system are not intuitive and require multiple clicks to access areas that should not be buried. For instance, a manager of managers who wants to check the progress of their direct reports on review completion during the review cycle has to dig through several screens to find the right one.

“1.5 Years Later - An Honest Lattice Review

Pros

With Lattice, the platform is not only a great comprehensive "people success" suite of tools but also easy to use, implement and enhance, thanks to Lattice's fantastic client support team (tech support, implementation consultants, customer success reps, etc.). We initially bought Lattice to deal with a broken manual performance management process, but we have gained so much more. We now use the tool to manage and scale our compensation structure and practices across the organization and enhance our bonus payout process through Compensation Cycles. We are also developing career pathing tools to help our employees understand their potential career trajectory with us. This alone has significantly improved our people success strategy and we are still just beginning to explore the tool's full impact and capabilities.

Cons

There are two things to note: 1. Its not cheap but its worth every penny for the value it provides and 2. Its highly customizable with many capabilities. So, its essential to have a basic understanding or strategy for using the tools to maximize user adoption, spend and overall value.

Pros

I really like the performance review and survey capabilities of Lattice. I also like that I can filter survey data by role, gender, performance, and more.

Cons

I wish the compensation module was included in the base product. I did also like the ability to track and download performance reviews of a single person over time.

“Implemented Lattice last year

Pros

For managing performance and boosting employee engagement, Lattices features are very helpful. Reviews, Feedback, 1:1s and Grow offer great tools to identify, record and improve each employees performance. All these features work together to create a comprehensive system. The Engagement feature is excellent for administering surveys, gathering feedback and building action plans, all within the platform. Plus, they have recently introduced AI to their platform, which is pretty impressive.

Cons

Setting up the platform or navigating it can be confusing and not very intuitive. For example, it sometimes takes extra clicks to get to where I need to be or I might need to upload a spreadsheet to change a specific option instead of simply adjusting a setting. Its not a deal-breaker but it can be confusing. Additionally, its more expensive than other options available.

Pros

I love the modern and sleek look of Lattice and the variety of features it offers. Its really useful to be able to add new features, and I know Lattice is always developing more. What I absolutely LOVE about Lattice is their customer support options. They offer so many helpful tutorials, and the chat support is always available, very fast and helpful.

Cons

Lattice offers a lot of functionality but there are times when it lacks basic features such as having dates in performance review packets or the ability to mass download data.

I like the range of tools and the flexibility within the system. We also enjoy the consistent upgrades and new feature releases which are always smoothly introduced.

Cons

Some areas can be a bit challenging to navigate but the support team has always been there to help.

I value how Lattice provides a customizable solution that our People Team has customized to encourage a culture of continuous feedback, growth and accountability. This customization improves performance for both employees and managers.

I do not have any complaints about Lattice. Its very much improving our organizations performance across all areas.

The user experience is excellent for both employees and administrators. Lattice Grow is a fantastic feature that integrates well with employee 1:1s and the performance review cycle.

“We love Lattice!

Pros

Lattice is central to many of our management practices. I use the Updates feature to make our 1:1s more effective, and we also manage these meetings through Lattice. The Goal and Growth modules help us manage OKRs and Individual Development Plans which supports tracking and driving conversations between managers and teams. This setup also enhances transparency within our organization.

Cons

Administering surveys and reviews can be less intuitive to find or implement. I hope they continue to improve reporting and develop a more UX-focused admin panel!

Pros

Lattice offers a great user experience for both employees and administrators. Its easy to use, looks aesthetically pleasing and makes performance management tasks more efficient.

Cons

Lattice still lacks some features that would benefit my team like the ability to download specific parts of the org chart instead of the entire chart.

“Lattice as a platform for career goal setting and coaching

Pros

I love the feature that allows me to update my progress daily, weekly or monthly on Lattice. The goal setting feature is also great as it helps me stay on track with the goals I set and track any updates and progress.

Cons

The goal-setting feature does not align well with my preferred ease of use.

“Lattice is a powerful employee performance platform

Pros

We chose Lattice for its excellent integration with Slack. Pulse surveys are delivered via Slack which makes it very easy for employees to respond and engage. Once we implemented it, our participation rates soared and the team was very appreciative. The Lattice UI/UX is outstanding and I particularly like the 1:1 feature which improves the quality of 1:1s across the business.

Cons

Unfortunately, Lattice only covered performance management and we wanted to consolidate our tools into a more integrated stack. Since Lattice did not have HRIS capabilities at the time, we had to keep using BambooHR which added cost and complexity to our people stack. Additionally, the limited response capability for pulse surveys was a downside after moving from Officevibe.

Pros

I really like the career and talent management features. They make tracking tasks easy and include some of the best employee engagement features. Its a great HR tool and also offers feedback management assistance.

Cons

Some users will need training to use Lattice properly but otherwise its great.
