useful search, limited access

Pros

I can find any employee in the company and quickly see which team they belong to. The search functionality works well for navigating our staff directory.

Cons

Can't export employee lists unless you're an admin and the org chart export isn't available either. I really wish the new hires/birthday/anniversary section on the dashboard could be expanded for better visibility. Would love to see more features and functionality added overall.

all-in-one centralized

Pros

Everything consolidated in one place, time off requests, pay information, benefits and more. Being able to view team birthdays and work anniversaries is a nice touch. It's also helpful that I can quickly see who works in which office along with their names.

Cons

I can't really think of anything major to complain about though I'd love to have more options for personalizing the main dashboard when I log in.

Hard to find EEO1 reports with unhelpful support

Pros

I'm really impressed with how user-friendly the interface is even my colleagues outside of HR find it easy to use. A huge time-saver is the onboarding feature as its integration with Greenhouse works flawlessly and aligns our entire process.

Cons

The EEO1 reporting access is really difficult to find which is a major issue for an HRIs system. Customer service has been disappointing too and lots of generic apologies without real solutions. When I had an integration problem, they told me to create a workaround on the other platform instead of actually fixing there issue on their side.

great global HR hub, rigid pricing structure

Pros

The centralized HRIs platform is exactly what we needed for our multi-location setup. Since we operate across Canada, the Us and Europe, having a system that delivers a consistent employee experience everywhere has been crucial for our operations.

Cons

Two weeks back we requested pricing adjustments for employees who dont receive payroll or benefits administration through the platform and got turned down.

perfect for basic needs

Pros

I can easily access all my documents in one place, check holiday schedules and submit PTO requests without any issue.

Cons

We probably aren't taking full advantage of all the features it offers.

smooth design, slow support

Pros

Completing my daily work is a smooth process thanks to the interface's simple and smooth design.

Cons

support takes forever to respond and nobody calls back. With over 700 employees, getting help is frustrating and they'll only show you how to do things instead of actually helping. Large employers should definitely look elsewhere! You'll need a dedicated payroll person just to handle this system. The sales team wasn't honest with us either. There's only one way to upload payroll data, and it takes us 10 hours every sunday just to get everything ready for their system which is absolutely ridiculous.

great features, fading support

Pros

appreciate how this serves as an almost complete solution for essential HR functions. The user interface stands out as one of the best features and the performance review capability is excellent. The onboarding functionality is quite comprehensive too.

Cons

Customer support has gotten noticeably worse over the years and their response times keep getting slower. The data import feature is really awkward to work with and doesn't give you much flexibility. When I submit suggestions for improvements, they either ignore them completely or don't even bother acknowledging that they received them.

mobile convenience with navigation flaws

Pros

The mobile app is fantastic and they just upgraded it and now I can request time off with just a few taps and check my paystubs whenever I need to. Perfect for when I'm on the go or away from my computer.

Cons

Interface can be confusing at times. During performance review season, I kept getting lost because all the sections had such similar names and it took me way longer than it should have to figure out where my reviews actually were.

flawed foundation

Pros

The interface has a really clean, modern design and the support team genuinely tries to assist but unfortunately the system struggles with some fundamental benefit setup tasks.

Cons

The implementation process was a complete disaster and the sales team definitely oversold what this thing could actually deliver.

Intuitive with minor calendar bugs

Pros

The interface is incredibly easy to use and loads quickly which is a huge improvement over other HR platforms I've used before. Requesting time off and communicating with my manager about work-from-home days has become so much simpler. I can actually understand the benefits information now unlike those confusing systems from my previous jobs.

Cons

Calendar layout threw me off a bit, when I'd try to book time off it looked like I was requesting two or three days instead of what I actually wanted. Could've been my mistake though but it was definetly confusing at first.

promised integration never delivered

Pros

The interface has this Facebook like vibe that really helps our remote team stay connected and engaged with one another.

Cons

The space is way too limited to cover everything thATs wrong. Despite what they promise during sales, this thing isn't actually integrated at all. Customer service has been awful and we've gone through 4 or 5 different account managers in just 18 months.

HR tool that finally connects pay and performance

Pros

It brings together features from multiple tools we've been juggling. It handles payroll, benefits and salary data like ADP did while also covering performance feedback and reviews similar to Reflektive. When November rolls around for our next performance review cycle, comparing compensation against performance metrics will be much more streamlined.

Cons

I find it frustrating that time cards and time off requests aren't in the same place. Makes tracking my weekly hours more complicated than it should be.

modern look, tricky time off

Pros

The interface feels modern and really appealing to look at. I like how it brings together every part of HR management in one simple package that's easy to use.

Cons

We have run into some problems with staff not submitting vacation requests correctly and managing time off has been tricky. It took a few trial-and-error situations before we figured out the best way to handle these requests through the system.

Pros

I've been using this at my current company and really appreciate having the mobile app available. It handles leave tracking well and the performance appraisal feature is easy to complete.

Cons

misleading benefits with costly results

Pros

I find it mediocre at best. Without the benefits administration features, it basically becomes just another HR system and honestly I dont see much value in that alone.

Cons

Had a frustrating experience with their insurance plan explanations during our benefits enrollment. Even though they provided a custom onboarding and company packet, they completely failed to explain that one of our health plans had a tiered provider system. I ended up choosing what I thought was the better option, only to discover later that there were no "maximum savings" providers in my area, meaning everything would cost me second-tier rates. This made my plan choice much more expensive than expected and I would've picked something different if I'd known. When we brought this to HR and our sVP's attention, they hadn't been told about the tiered structure either. Namely's response was disappointing - no apology, just pointing to fine print in the insurance company's guide rather than taking responsibility for their presentation. If your selling insurance plans, you should understand them well enough to explain the important details. Also noticed that address updates dont always get communicated back to the insurers properly.

simple access, confusing review process

Pros

I appreciate how simple it is to check organizational charts and access my pay stubs. The single sign-on integration with Gsuite is super helpful, no more remembering multiple passwords.

Cons

The review process at my company wasn't intuitive at all and found it very confusing and difficult to use.

a system of endless fixes

Pros

Front end works well for bringing new hires onboard and managing employee data. The analytics tool is a huge improvement since they integrated Looker rather than trying to build their own solution from scratch.

Cons

Benefits administration and Payroll modules are really disappointing. Make sure you get a thorough demo of the actual working interfaces when you're evaluating, not just the polished presentation screens. The backend where my team actually does the work is clunky and poorly integrated. We're always discovering issues that need fixing, and when they do address problems, it usually takes multiple attempts to get it right.

broken sync functionality

Pros

UI looks really clean and polished. I'm a big fan of the analytics feature and it's quite useful.

Cons

Different modules don't communicate with each other or sync automatically which creates way too much manual work. Instead of streamlining our workflow, it actually adds extra steps to everything we do.

Easy sharing, difficult reporting

Pros

I enjoy using this tool and it's pretty simple to use. Sharing company updates has become much simpler and getting new people set up doesn't take long at all. Even folks outside of HR find it easy to work with.

Cons

The reporting interface isn't easy at all. Getting the specific metrics we needed was a real struggle. Our teams became cluttered and disorganized over time making them difficult to manage effectively.

Efficient dashboard with one hitch

Pros

The dashboard makes everything accessible at a glance and I really appreciate how it cuts down on operational costs while streamlining our HR workflows. Communication with HR or admin staff is seamless through the built-in messaging feature, which saves time compared to emails back and forth.

Cons

Making changes to my benefits was a bit of a trouble since I had to wait for our admin to update my profile first. Once that was sorted though, the actual revisions went smoothly.
