“good but not efficient”
Pros
The reporting for HR is best and updating or inputting data is also very simple and smooth. It's also great for creating and editing employee profiles.
Cons
It's pretty slow and doesn't integrate well with other platforms which can be a issue. also, the tutorials for users could definitely be improved and customer service could be better. I've had some struggles getting the support I need when I run into issues.

“disappointing system”
Pros
I had really high hopes when I switched from Gusto. To be honest the whole setup and experience were a bit of a letdown. But I have to say, Wendy from the benefits team was absolutely fantastic. She really tried her best to help us succeed.
Cons
I really wanted this to work but honestly found nothing user-friendly about it. The HRIs and payroll systems aren't integrated at all, you have to make changes in one system then go repeat everything in the other. That completely defeATs the point of buying software thATs supposed to make things more efficient.Payroll was an absolute nightmare that took us hours to complete, not because we made mistakes but because of constant system errors and confusing processes. When we called support, they just kept transferring us between different teams. The payroll people couldn't help with HRIs issues and the HRIs team couldn't handle payroll problems which just wasted even more of our time. The training was practically non-existent across the board. To make things worse, most of the helpful people from our initial setup got laid off after some acquisition. A few of them actually reached out later to apologize for how terrible our experiance ended up being.

“smart choice, though a bit costly”
Pros
This tool truly has everything you need for managing HR and the best part is that it all comes from just one provider. Whether it's handling payroll, tracking employee data or managing compliance, it covers all aspects of HR in one place.
Cons
The tiered pricing is frustrating because it locks out some of the features that are actually necessary. I feel like I have to pay more just to get what I need.

“Polished interface with reliable performance”
Pros
It's very easy to use with a great user interface, and I haven't had any issues so far.
Cons
Honestly, I haven't had any issues with it so far. It's been smooth sailing and everything's worked just as expected for me.

“Great benefits team, annoying timesheets”
Pros
The benefits consultants they assigned to us are really easy to work with and always get back to me quickly when I have questions. Whether it's something I need help with as an employer or if our employees have concerns, they handle everything smoothly. Having them as our Broker of Record while also managing our HRIs needs makes things much more organized than dealing with separate companies.
Cons
timesheet feature has some annoying issues with PTO and sick leave calculations that dont match up properly. Every year our HR team has to go in and fix these discrepancies manually. They've actually started tracking everything in Excel spreadsheets each month because the system can't be trusted to get the numbers right.

“Works well but lacks important functionalities”
Pros
I love that it's affordable, offers full customer support and has all the tools needed to comply with laws. Namely's modern and simple interface made tasks like running payroll or requesting feedback really easy to do with just a few clicks.
Cons
It's missing some internal communication features which would be really helpful. Plus the reporting and analytics options are kind of limited, so if you need in-depth insights, it might not be the best fit.

“Interactive but reporting falls short”
Pros
Interface is really interactive. It didn't take me long to learn and it makes my daily work so much easier.
Cons
Reporting functionality is really frustrating and I usually end up having to pull data from both HRIs and Payroll just to get the information I need.

“easy to use.. when support shows up”
Pros
The interface is really easy to figure out, both for me and my staff. Setting everything up was a smooth process with no problems. They've even added some new features lately that are exactly what we needed.
Cons
support response times can be frustratingly slow, simple issues that should take minutes often drag on for days after you get past the initial setup phase.

“a game-changer, support isn't responsive”
Pros
Having a real HR system instead of doing everything by hand is a total game-changer. Everything I need is right there. The interface is user-friendly and the support team is fantastic. They're always professional and when they fix something, they give you clear instructions so you know what to do next. As the HR Director, I use it every day. The setup was surprisingly smooth. We've been using it for about 7 months now and we're working with them to tweak a few things to fit our workflow even better.
Cons
While I appreciate the Client space feature, response times often stretch beyond 24 hours which becomes really frustrating when your trying to get things done. This doesnt happen frequently but it shouldnt happen at all especially without any status updates. I'd suggest adding a priority rating system for inquiries since what might not seem urgent to the team could be critical for our internal deadlines.

“amazing support and great automated features”
Pros
Ernestine from support has been a lifesaver. I've learned more about payroll from her in a few months than I did in ten years at my old job! she's great at stopping expensive mistakes before they happen. The whole team is super supportive. I run payroll twice a month and finally feel like I know what I'm doing. I also love that the system tracks work anniversaries and birthdays and it's a nice touch. There's plenty of training which makes everything run smoothly.
Cons
I am not a fan of the Client space feature. I'd rather talk to someone directly. There have been a few times when the billing department took longer than expected to get back to me.

“Would recommend for small to medium size organizations”
Pros
Well the customer service is outstanding and I have no complaints about it. From my perspective as an end user, it is fantastic to have all the information in one place. Also the changes that are made overtime are proven to be beneficial and other key features I like are PTO, payroll, and birthdays.
Cons
I come to know that I could not create an organizational chart and the reporting does not meet our needs because of our more complex structure.

“easy platform with a fun social newsfeed”
Pros
Namely is really easy to use and I got the hang of it fast. I also love the newsfeed and it's created a fun, interactive space that has actually made our workplace culture better.
Cons
Can't see combined payroll data across multiple EINs since each one generates its own separate report which is frustrating when you need the big picture.

“smooth setup with a fantastic team”
Pros
setup process was incredibly smooth. Our whole team was so friendly and always happy to answer my questions. By the time we launched, I felt totally confident and ready to go.
Cons

“Avoid at all costs”
Pros
When we first started, we had a fantastic implementation team about 80% of the time, but payroll was the area where we faced issues. Fast forward 2+ years, and the only part that is still going well is payroll. However, there are still problems that we highlighted during the implementation. So, what stands out for me? It is definitely our Payroll Admin. She is excellent and does a fantastic job.
Cons
Things started off poorly with Namely, and after they were acquired by a benefits brokerage, the technology seems to have taken a backseat. Simple tasks like LOA administration are not even integrated into the tools and their support has been poor. After over 2 years, we finally have a dedicated representative who is making an effort, but his team seems unfamiliar with their own technology. I asked about a feature that should be essential for expense reimbursement and audit compliance. Their support said it did not exist, but I accidentally discovered it buried in the backend two weeks later. This experience does not give confidence.

“so easy, our whole team loves it”
Pros
This HR and payroll system is so easy to use! Our whole team loves it. Everything is so easy from asking for time off to signing documents and updating my info. I can even run my own reports to see real-time data. Payroll is a snap and saves us so much time. We're so glad we switched!
Cons
The rehiring process can be pretty time-consuming especially when we're bringing back dozens of people during our busy event seasons. Having to rehire fifty employees one by one gets frustrating fast. They really need to organize the onboarding for rehires to match how smooth it is for new hires. Another thing that would make life easier is bulk actions for employee updates, right now everything has to be done individually. Though I guess this might not be as big of an issue for companies that dont rehire as many people as we do.

“Outstanding service made us choose it”
Pros
My experience with this tool has been excellent. When we needed to start hiring directly, I looked at Paylocity and BambooHR but I chose this one because the customer service was outstanding and it's so easy to use. The team that got us set up was fantastic and they had us live in just 10 weeks! They're super responsive and guide you through every step. The system is easy to use and my staff had no trouble learning it.
Cons
I wish this tool included compensation analysis and benchmarking features so we could compare our salaries and benefits against industry standards and what competitors are offering.

“a one-person HR department's dream”
Pros
UI is smooth and looks really nice. Since I'm a one-person department, I was so grateful that the setup team broke everything down into small, manageable pieces. There are so many cool features that my old system didn't have. And customer support is amazing and they answer fast, fix things quickly and I always get to talk to a real person!
Cons
Getting used to having it separate from our HRIs took some adjustment but once everyone got the hang of it, the extra visibility into hours and reporting made it totally worth it.

“The all-in-one winner we needed”
Pros
I've used a few different HR systems and after a ton of research, this one was the clear winner. I love that everything onboarding, time-off requests, performance stuff is all in one place. It also works perfectly with JazzHR and adobe sign. The setup was so well organized with each call focusing on a different part of the system. Having a real person guide me and customize everything made a huge difference. My team started using it right away and we love it. The support from Jenna and Jesse was outstanding; they never made me feel like I was bothering them and they genuinely seemed to care about helping our business.
Cons
I really wish there was a simpler way to create and send employee surveys. You can technically do it through the Performance section but setting it up is pretty complicated and the reporting options are really basic. The team was great about showing me how to work around this limitation and even suggested some third-party partners that other clients use for surveys, which I appreciated.
