Smooth for daily tasks

Pros

I've been using it for a while now and what I really appreciate is how user-friendly it is for the everyday stuff. Submitting a leave request is very easy and accessing my payslips takes just a couple of clicks. It just works without any issue which is exactly what I need.

Cons

It's been good so far, I have not run into many issues. My only problem is that none of the email addresses I have on file work, I always get a bounce back.

Clean, simple UI with weak homepage

Pros

I have to give a shout-out to the design, the UI is very simple and clean. I never get lost trying to find anything because it's so easy to use. It feels interactive like I already know how to use it even on my first visit.

Cons

The homepage is not very relevant for me.

My experience with this tool

Pros

From the very start, my experience was great. The onboarding process was smooth and I was set up in no time. And that user-friendly feeling didn't stop after day one, the whole platform continues to be really simple and pleasant to use.

Cons

Sometimes employees need something for themselves but company rules won�t let them get it directly. For example, if they need proof of employment, they have to ask the company to request it on their behalf.

Easy all-in-one hub

Pros

The best thing for me is the ease of use and the fact that everything I need is in one place. I don't have to hunt through different systems or folders, all my HR stuff is right there, organized and easy to get to. It saves me so much time and problem.

Cons

submitting expenses is unclear like when the right categories are not even available.

User-friendly with excellent support

Pros

It itself is super user-friendly which is a big win. But what makes it stand out is the customer support team. They are always helpful and quick to respond whenever I have a question which gives me a lot of confidence using the system.

smooth expense tracking

Pros

website is very simple to use, I never have to guess where things are. A feature I use a lot is the expenses function, it's particlarly simple. I love how it gives me clear transparency on the amounts to be reimbursed and it's very accurate in handling local currencies which is a huge plus for me.

Cons

It works through a local third party where I'm based and I had a few teething problems at the start but those have settled down now.

Friendly, interactive and smooth to use

Pros

My overall impression is that it's very friendly and easy to use. It doesn't feel like a chore to log in and do what I need to do. The layout makes sense and everything is where you'd expect it to be which makes the whole experience smooth.

simple tool but key tweaks needed

Pros

It's easy to sign in and immediately get to the basic things I need. Whether I'm looking for a copy of my contract or need to access the help desk, it's all right there. Also the support is very responsive, they get back to me fast with real solutions which I appreciate.

Cons

Submitting expenses could be a lot easier to do in bulk. I also think some basic tasks like asking for vacation rollover, should be easier than me having to fill out a whole support ticket from scratch.

Awesome for time-off and docs

Pros

Honestly it's just awsome. It's easy to use and smooth overall. Specifically, I find it really simple for booking time off and tracking my accrual balances, I always know where I stand. Plus it's incredibly easy to access all my important documents like everything pertaining to my contracts, in one secure spot. It's become my go-to hub for all things work-related.

Cons

only thing I wish is that my pay slips would be available sooner.

Pros

Simplified my work especially taxes

I liked Oyster because it seriously simplified my work especially when it comes to handling tax payments which used to be a major headache. Plus, the platform itself is just interactive and makes everything feel more manageable.

What I really value is the quick answer I get to any questions that I have during this period. I never have to wait around or follow up multiple times, the support is just there when I need it.

I've had a good experience with their service and customer service overall. I've had minimal problems thus far and on the rare occasion something comes up, it gets sorted out quickly and without drama.

Cons

It can be a little rigid, not very flexible on certain payroll things. But these are only edge cases.

I appreciate the ease of use most of all. But beyond that, the expert consultancy and advice we get is invaluable. They offer flexible problem solving in speedy time frames which helps us move forward without delays.

Reliable & easy to use but costly to exit

Pros

I have been in post as CPO for 11 months now and I have been really pleased with the service provided by Oyster especially by our Customer Success and Account Managers. Oyster are always on hand to provide advice, guidance and support and this often extends to matters that might impact our own employees, they feel like a true partner. On top of that, it is easy to use and integrates with our HR systems easyly which is a huge technical win for us.

Cons

While the country coverage is good some relationships are tripartite, meaning it uses another provider in that country to hire the person. That can delay communication. Also from a cost perspective, there are times when termination is justified but the business case is not there because the individual is employed by it, not us directly. This means mutual terminations are usually the only option and there's an additional cost.
