faced problems with integration

Pros

I really appreciate that this is from such an established, trusted company with decades of experience. The system feels solid and reliable and they're clearly committed to building a comprehensive HRIs solution. Having everything HR-related in one place has been convenient for our workflow.

Cons

The integration between different systems wasn't as good as I expected. Even though they advertised benefits brokerage services, they're definitely not equipped to handle that properly. We ran into too many problems connecting the time tracking with payroll, something you wouldn't expect from a company this size. I stuck with it for two years and things did improve significantly last year with more integrations becoming available. While I appreciated being able to manage all employee data in one central online location, I constantly had to monitor for employees who would slip through the cracks when data didn't transfer properly between systems.

dependable service

Pros

The service has been incredibly dependable and their support team is outstanding whenever I run into issues or have questions. They're really patient when I mess something up and always quick to help me figure out solutions. I love that I can enter payroll data in chunks rather than all at once. Makes my workflow much more flexible.

Cons

Though the online payroll processing works efficiently and handles different schedules well, I really miss having that personal connection with a dedicated payroll processor. Over the years, I built genuine relationships with those folks who got to know our business inside and out. They'd often catch potential problems before they became real headaches. I wouldn't want to go back to calling in payroll numbers instead of entering them online but there's definitely a trade-off in losing that personal touch.

Pros

dedicated specialist, disjointed modules

Pros

The standout feature is having our own dedicated account specialist who really knows our business inside and out across all our accounts. The responsiveness is fantastic! I also appreciate how seamlessly the general ledger connects with QuickBooks online. It eliminates the hassle of manual journal entries completely.

Cons

The different modules for hiring, time tracking and HR don't really match up design-wise. Each one feels like a separate platform, which makes switching between them kind of jarring. Everything functions properly but the inconsistent interface can be distracting when you're jumping from one module to another.

Everything is centralized

Pros

I appreciate having everything centralized including employee records, payroll and benefits all in one spot makes my job much easier.

Cons

Manual entry is required for all payroll hours since this doesn't integrate with our current timekeeping system which creates extra work.

helpful reminders for everyone

Pros

The software has a really intuitive interface that makes everything easy. I appreciate getting those helpful reminders from both the sales rep and HR representative.

Cons

Initially had a rep who was rarely available though this improved a few months back. Regina has been excellent.
