Streamlines our vacation process

Pros

As a user, I find it incredibly efficient and user-friendly for managing vacation requests. It has made our whole time-off process transparent and streamlined for everyone.

Cons

For me, there are no cons. The advantages are much more important.

functional but needs manual adjustments

Pros

This is fairly easy to use. I especially like that we can easily upload time-off right to our calendar from the approval email.

Cons

It doesn't work well with carryover days. We end up having to do a lot of manual work to make it function properly.

Pros

Its simple to use and easy to train people on. We've been using it for about 10 years and never had a glitch. Support is always quick and helpful when we need them.

Clear calendar with helpful visuals

Pros

I like the calendar display, especially how it color-codes our different office locations. It's also cool that full days off look different than partial days.

Cons

The vacation and event symbols on the calendar are boring! They are small, black and white and hard to see. Please make them colorful and easier to spot.

Pros

It lets me track my own time-off requests and my team's in a way that's really visual and easy to understand.

Cons

Some of the questions are worded in a confusing way. Like, "exclude lunch break Yes/No". it always makes me stop and think about what it means.

flexible features with fair pricing

Pros

simply love that it has so many features you can customize for your business. The best part for me is the pricing and you only pay for what you actually need. Also, the non-profit discount is the only reason we can afford it which is awesome. Their customer service has been really quick to help, too.

Cons

I really want a phone app for this. It would help my team see their time off and hours easily. I also wish you could adjust everyone's schedule more to make time off and hours match up better.

Amazing tool with excellent support

Pros

I find it user-friendly and easy to set up. Whenever I need help, their customer service team is fast and actually solves the problem.

we only use it for time off, so the staff list and the time-off page feel like two different things. also, the light color for booked days on the calendar is hard to see.

Pros

It's a really interactive app that we could configure to fit our organization perfectly. The French-speaking support was excellent and they really listened and understood our issues. It's some of the best help I've ever gotten.

Cons

The vacation day counts are often wrong. It starts counting right when someone joins but it doesn't fix the count when they leave. We always have to fix it ourselves. Also, there's no app for people to check their own days.

Automatic vacation renewal is great

Pros

PurelyHR is just very easy to use. My favorite thing is that it automatically renews vacation days every year, so I never have to do it manually.

Cons

I saw a few small problems with my team's vacation time but nothing big ever went wrong.
