Using it is very easy and it even takes care of quarterly and annual filings automatically without needing anything from the business owner.

Cons

It may be confusing for newer business owners who may not fully understand what's happening behind the scenes.

It doesn't take long to get started and the system is pretty easy to understand. Over the years the software has steadily improved especially how it connects to time clocks and how much simpler it makes handling tax payments. Our accountant appreciates it too because it helps organize his work and saves him time.

Cons

The price is definitely on the higher side compared with other programs in this category. Since�it�has a lot of moving parts someone brand new might need more time to get comfortable with�it�at first. Once that learning curve is behind you, though,�it�becomes a really valuable tool for the office.

Payroll management feels very organized and structured with this software and it clearly lays out pending tasks along with the timeframes for each one.

Cons

Getting comfortable with the features took a bit of time and some training before I could really see the value and make full use of everything�it�offers. The video tutorials were very helpful along the way.

I love having payroll integrated within the accounting system so all the data flows easily. The autofiling and autopaying of payroll taxes is a huge relief for our small business staff.

Cons

The biggest con for me is the cost. For clients with a large headcount, it becomes too expensive and I wish discounts were offered based on staff size.

This software has made payroll much more manageable especially since it works well with the rest of the QuickBooks tools. Having everything connected cuts down on duplicate entry, saves time and makes the daily payroll process feel a lot more easy.

Support was the part that disappointed me.�It�came across as impersonal and sluggish and whenever an issue came up,�it�felt like we were just another ticket in the queue. Getting a clear answer or resolution usually took more effort than�it�really should have.

Good value is what I find if you're already a QuickBooks Online user though the price becomes less competitive as employee count and complexity increase.

The biggest drawback I've noticed is the poor quality and accessibility of Customer Support. I've seen users frustrated with long hold times and being transferred between agents who lack specialized knowledge for complex payroll or tax errors.

Great tool!! But what I like least is the apparent lack of communication within their call centers as we often get repeat calls.

Having used this tool with a previous employer, I appreciated being able to access pay stubs a few days early which helped me manage money effectively.

Bugs and billing issues were the hardest part for me especially around processing bi-weekly payroll with cut-off times, deadlines and holidays.

Running payroll with it has made paying employees and handling both state and federal taxes much simpler. I am still figuring out the best way to set up customer information since most of my cases are paid by the county rather than by clients directly. Their customer support has been outstanding as well. Whenever I have a question, they respond quickly and get it resolved fast. I also feel comfortable entering sensitive information into the system and storing client pay stubs there. After 8 years of owning a business, this has honestly been one of the best investments I have made. Any problems I have run into have been taken care of.

Cons

At this point I really do not have any major complaints about�it. The only thing I did not care for was the employee auto-draft feature because�it�did not pick up any extra hours they worked.�It�only processed pay based on the preset schedule or standard hours.

With it running payroll is very easy and efficient. As it makes calculating taxes and paying employees simple and quick to manage.

Cons

From time to time, customer support is a bit slow to respond when something goes wrong which can be frustrating when you need help right away.

I appreciate that it's integrated with QuickBooks so I don't need to worry about extra syncing or posting journal entries. Setting up different pay types for each client is easy and I like that employees can access their own paystubs and information through Workforce without needing me to handle it all.

It does cost more than other payroll options. I've run into minor glitches but support has resolved them quickly.
