“Limitations in online software”

Pros

I like that the software is easy for my clients to access and direct deposit works well. Integration with the accounting software eliminates double entry.

Cons

I don't like that the online software doesn't allow me to make changes as needed. As a CPA, I should be able to make adjustments similar to how I can in the desktop version.

Pros

We love how simple it is. This was the first payroll app I ever used and picking it up was effortless. Setting up and paying employees became very easy.

Cons

On occasion, taxes weren't deducted properly but I noticed that support team was fast and extremely helpful, resolving the issue quickly.

Pros

Great tool!! I enjoy the flexibility this tool gives me to work from anywhere. Even at my cottage I can run payroll and integrate with other software like Connecteam.

Cons

Currently I haven't experienced any major difficulties with the software as long as I enter all parameters correctly.

Using this tool has been easy and the team provided great support in helping me find everything initially. They are very friendly.

There was a bit of a learning curve navigating and I found the site a bit slow at times but nothing major.

Honestly I find it simple to view employees, track their hours, set job expectations and onboard new hires. Fixing issues is easy as well.

The rising cost concerns me especially since we don't need all the services provided. I wish we could pick only the features we need and build our own package.

The company has a long-standing reputation. I like that it offers many integration options and features that apply to multiple areas of running a business.

Sometimes I find that its age can be a curse, parts feel clunky and long-term issues can make it confusing among QB customers. I've also noticed the AI sorting can be buggy.

Handling payroll with this tool has been very easy. Adding hours, updating rate of pay, managing vacation time and even connecting it with our 401K has been simple to do. A huge plus is that it also takes care of payroll tax payments automatically which saves a lot of time.

Cons

One thing that could be better is the history tracking. When an employee gets a new rate of pay or an added benefit,�it�is not very easy to go back and find their previous information.

I like how this tool makes setting up employee payroll easy. It calculates and updates taxes and allows for easy payment to federal and state authorities.

Cons

This tool Payroll feels extremely expensive to me, with price changes that aren't always explained or accompanied by added benefits.

It integrates easily with QuickBooks Online. I can track hours, account for taxes and access records without hassle.

I've noticed a hefty annual cost for full access to all features and I found the interface not particularly user-friendly.

Bookkeeping has become easier for me. I can keep up with receipts, vendors and income efficiently.

Okay so... I see that it isn't easily compatible with all software so I often need additional programs.

I can create and send professional invoices, accept online payments and set up automatic reminders and recurring invoices.

What bothers me most is how everything costs extra and adds up quickly, for example, Payroll, Time Tracking and Inventory Management aren't included in base plans. Annual price increases and additional fees for multiple users also make it pricey.

The setup process is simple and I love that taxes are automatically managed. Creating new employee records is quick and easy.

I don't like that some features can't be removed and help isn't always friendly.

Using this tool, I don't feel like I need a payroll expert. It links nicely to workforce, allowing employees to view pay stubs and manage their own bank and tax info.

Handling holiday pay isn't simple, I wish there was an easier way to calculate time.

We have used this system at our company for years. Payroll is easy and the experience is smooth.

Sometimes the file runs slow but it's not a big enough con for me to stop using it.

I find this tool simple, making payroll is really easy. Errors are easy to correct, adjustments simple and customer service is always helpful.

Integrating with time tracking software can be tricky though I think that's usually due to the other software rather than this tool Payroll.

Integration with QBO helps me keep everything in one place, from payroll to bookkeeping to taxes.

I find that it isn't as user-friendly as other tools when automating taxes, EDD filing, etc. and I wish these processes were more automated.

Being able to input all my hours and numbers and have this tool handle the hard work is a huge relief.

Previously I had some issues but a software update about a year ago fixed them. Now it's smooth sailing.

The platform is easy to use and I can quickly find the information I need.

While overall it's a good platform I wish it automatically communicated payslips to staff, it would be ideal if the system sent them directly.

For me it's easy to use and mostly runs on autopilot.

Payroll taxes don't happen automatically, I have to go into QB to approve them before sending.
