During my use of the platform, I experienced exceptionally rapid replies in the live Q&A chat and I find the team members consistently helpful and responsive.
Cons
Although useful, I find the service rather costly in certain situations, to the point where we end up paying Remote more for a single employee than that employee receives personally.

I find the payroll process to be quite predictable, with staff receiving their wages reliably, furthermore, benefits are provided in accordance with national regulations and invoices are processed and issued on time.
Cons
As an employee, I consistently struggle to locate the correct place in the system to submit my PTO requests and many colleagues share this confusion.

From my experience, Remote takes a no-nonsense approach, operating with a balanced mix of professionalism and pragmatism to effectively serve both employees and employers and I found their legal support team to be exceptionally competent.
Cons
I come across a situation where they were unable to provide the necessary flexibility which meant we could not relocate an employee to the Netherlands because Remote's pension setup lacked the flexibility to prevent a reduction in the employee's net pay, the employee refused to accept this loss and as a result we were unable to proceed and remained stuck with the position in the Netherlands.

Overall I find the platform exceptionally simple to navigate and when issues arise the support staff, particularly the Remote team as a whole, respond promptly and resolve problems effectively, furthermore, I appreciate that their product team listens to our feedback attentively and implements the necessary modifications to fulfill our company's requirements.
Cons
As for negatives, the payment due date feels too tight for my team, I would prefer it be extended by a couple of days to ease our cash-flow timing and the platform fees for EOR services seem rather pricey to me.

After a lengthy period of neglect, I finally have an account manager who is genuinely attentive and helpful although we endured two years with very little support. When I raise an issue they are proactive and do seem committed to pursuing a fair resolution for all parties, yet it typically takes substantial escalation before it reaches that point. The platform itself is simple to use and simple both from an administrator's standpoint and as an employee.
Cons
The lack of transparency and communication is a real problem. Important country-specific information is either missing or hidden behind a login we didn't get until after a year of issues. Support feels robotic and can't handle the real-world complexities of global hiring especially in countries like Italy, Norway and Portugal. The platform itself is too basic. It can't handle specific local rules, like Norway's unique PTO requirements which has led to multiple onboarding and offboarding failures. We've had employees get wrong information and these mistakes have ended up costing us a lot of money.

We migrated all of our external contractors to Remote from a variety of previous providers and have found the transition simple, Remote's portal is incredibly simple and demanded virtually no training for our team. On the occasions when I required targeted assistance, Remote's staff responded promptly and helped me resolve the issues. I would certainly recommend Remote
Cons
This is a very small thing but since the platform has so many features, I'd love to be able to hide or remove the ones I know I'll never use. It would really help clean up the interface and make it feel simpler for me.

They have been consistent in making the payments and beyond that I honestly cannot point to any other positive aspects to mention about them, as I have nothing more favorable to report.
Cons
Their customer service is terrible, for a month I have been chasing them to review my pay stubs and the only reply I have received is the vague "we're working on it sorry for the delay," while their sole channel of communication is email and the Colombian address listed for them actually corresponds to another company which I find highly suspicious.
