Time Clock for Teachers
Pros

As an educator, I use TimeClock Plus daily to clock in for work. It is simple and user-friendly and I can easily access the dashboard to check my current hours.

Cons

A downside is that employers can impose restrictions, so if your district does not allow it, you won't be able to clock in using the phone app.

Great Clock-In System
Pros

Clocking in takes just a few seconds and it excellently tracks breaks. It's very user-friendly even for those who aren't always at a desk.

Clock in and out with ease
Pros

TimeClock is ideal for anyone who needs an accurate way to track work hours and clock in and out easily. It integrates perfectly with employee management. When we first rolled it out in my school district, employees quickly adapted and understood how to use it. I have already recommended this software to others.

Pros

I liked how easy it was to clock in and out whenever the system functioned properly.

Cons

We faced numerous glitches, which led to manually entering employees clock-in and clock-out times. After our contract ended, we decided to cancel but they ignored our cancellation requests and sent our account to collections.

Pros

Access is easy and the numerous features you can select or that are already integrated into your system make the software even more convenient. It feels almost custom-built, so there really is not any downside to it. It is an essential tool for any business.

Cons

The price for many of the features I needed was beyond my budget. The system would freeze or act up occasionally. If they could offer some cool features at a lower price and improve the overall value, it would be worth paying for.

Horrific Customer Service - Extremely Hard To Navigate
Pros

I liked being able to clock in and log in remotely.

Cons

Customer service is poor. On average, you will spend 15 to 20 minutes on a simple phone call, and anything more complex will take over an hour. They have moved their support from San Angelo, TX to India which has created a significant language barrier. Even when I did reach someone in San Angelo, TX they took a huge amount of time, speaking as a fellow Texan.

A decent upgrade from our previous paper-and-pencil system
Pros

The interface for employees to request time off is excellent! The mobile app makes it very convenient and the staff has responded positively to this new method of submitting requests.

Cons

Since our school operates on a fiscal year rather than a calendar year, which apparently is not compatible with TimeClock Plus, its been quite frustrating trying to verify leave balances and track leave taken for over 100 employees.

Great Software, Terrible Customer Service
Pros

I use the mobile app exclusively for my employees to clock in and out. I was attracted by the geo-mapping feature which was supposed to restrict app usage to within the building. However, it is very unreliable with location recognition, and the geo-maps circular boundary means it includes some of the outside area.

Cons

I paid $1200 for an implementation fee that could have been covered by a 5-minute video. My account "implementation specialist" did not set up my accounts according to my specifications, which the fee was supposed to cover. I was not properly informed about how licensing charges worked, invoicing was unclear and I had no explanation for the charges when I inquired. When I raised these issues, I was essentially told it was my problem and they did nothing to rectify the situation.

Why I Love Time Clock Plus
Pros

Integrating any software can be stressful and time-consuming but Time Clock Plus guided us through each step and continues to offer support. The software is user-friendly, provides the necessary information and integrates smoothly with our payroll system.

The best time-tracking software put to the web in some time.
Pros

This is one of those rare cases where the pros alone could sum up the review. It is never been easier to track time, request leave and manage everything remotely. To view logged time, just select the option, and it is right there. The design is simple and pleasant and the coolest feature is accessing earned leave time both on the web and remotely. You can even project earned time up to 20+ years. While this might seem minor to some, it is a major advantage for those of us working long hours.

Cons

One of the consistent annoyances was the two-step login process, which could be tedious when I forgot to clock in or out.

Best Decision We Made for Time/Attendance/Payroll Management
Pros

The software integrates seamlessly with our payroll system, automates all manual and paper-based time, attendance and payroll processes, and provides detailed reporting. The customer support is exceptional and it is easy for both employees and managers to use. It maintains federal and state compliance accurately, manages COVID-19 related issues, tracks FFCRA and FMLA compliance and supports overall company management with a knowledgeable support team and ample resources.

Cons

I have no complaints about TCP. I submitted several enhancement requests and the company promptly designed and implemented them.
