excellent time management support

Pros

More than anything, this software helps me stay organized throughout my working hours. It's been really useful and gives me very solid time management support.

Cons

Honestly I don't have any complaints about this software. I've genuinely loved using it because it really helps me keep my time organized.

Helpful reminders

Pros

It has been excellent for our team and one feature I personally really enjoy is the reminder that nudges me back on track whenever I accidentally get lost scrolling through social media.

Cons

unfortunately, Time Doctor still doesn't integrate with QuickBooks Online.

Feels simple to handle

Pros

Using this app feels very simple and it does a good job of tracking the tasks you've been working on.

Cons

One downside is that when you're using multiple screens, there isn't a way to hide them.

Lovely mobile app

Pros

It's very user-friendly, comes with a mobile app and the daily reports are really helpful.

Cons

The Lite version has some issues, though. It can crash and there's a delay when clicking the work button.

Pros

Getting started with new projects and tasks is very simple, switching between tasks throughout the day feels smooth and the monthly hour reports are really helpful to review time worked.

Cons

One thing missing is the option to add notes to each individual work session.

Reliable tracking and oversight

Pros

The screenshot capture, mouse and keyboard activity tracking and app usage list are the features I value most. They make it possible to closely monitor work and feel confident that employees are actually doing their jobs while on the clock.

Cons

The pricing feels a little high though, $20 for 3 people compared with the $10 I was paying before for 2 users.

Precise tracking and transparency

Pros

The tracking is incredibly precise. My clients can see every minute I'm working which apps I used which websites I visited and even the random screenshots so there's no question that I'm actually doing the task. It even accounts for time when I'm just thinking and not touching the keyboard.

Cons

Honestly nothing major. Since this field is required, I'd say there were a few times when Time Doctor closed or disappeared without any warning but I'm hoping that won't happen again.

Pros

It does a good job of alerting us when time might not be used efficiently and it also captures periodic screenshots of employees' work.

Cons

Appreciate the screenshot feature

Pros

Keeping track of my tasks with Time Doctor has been really useful especially when I need to break my hours down for billing. The screenshot feature is also a nice touch for those moments when I forget what I was working on.

Cons

One thing that gets annoying is not being able to clear out a lot of old tasks in bulk without much hassle.

It feels like a full-featured tool and comes with a lot of functionality built in.

Cons

Because it has so many features, not everything is customizable. There are some options that would be much better if they could be turned on or off. The reports the program generates are also very basic and not very appealing visually.

cost-effective tracking

Pros

It has been a really effective and budget-friendly option for tracking time and managing projects. I use it across all of my client work and one thing I really appreciate is being able to give each client their own login so they can access their files and view the related screenshots.

Cons

The only downsides I've noticed with Time Doctor are that solo users don't get an annual subscription discount and customer support responses can be a bit slow and not as strong as they should be.

Pros

It is really simple. It lets us keep track of our overseas team members and the screenshot feature is especially useful because it helps make sure everyone is using their time as efficiently as possible.

Cons

the administrator has to request permission to allow work on a phone or iPad.

Gives clients complete visibility

Pros

Setting up new projects and tasks is really fast and assigning team members doesn't take much time either. One big advantage for us is being able to create client access since about 95% of our clients want to see an overview of tracked time and screenshots. The mobile app is also very useful. We use it to monitor whether our team is reaching their daily target working hours.

Cons

One thing I'd change is the Payment Request section that appears when client access is set up. I'd prefer to hide it because some clients were confused about why it was there but right now there's no option to remove it. Other than that, there really isn't any feature I dislike.

Valuable web based reports

Pros

found it userfriendly and the web-based reports for each project are really useful.

Cons

I can't edit task text in the Windows client. I also wasn't able to find a way to sort my tasks chronologically by project.
