Excellent platform

Pros

From my experience, the platform is very easy to operate, offering an excellent dashboard and smooth navigation throughout the system and I also appreciate how effectively it allows me to track each candidate.

Cons

The pricing is comparatively steep than other platforms on the market and I firmly believe that if they were to rethink and adjust their pricing structure it would make the product much more attractive to potential users.

Automated, secure tool but pricey

Pros

Even new team members find the platform highly interactive and its clear layout lets me onboard colleagues quickly with minimal confusion. The built-in automation has saved us an enormous amount of time in recruitment and interviews. By linking our official email, we can schedule interviews effortlessly which has simplified our tasks and helps me track every applicant accurately.

Cons

That said, I would like to see greater flexibility when it comes to customizing reports and templates because the current options sometimes feel limited for our needs, additionally, the pricing structure can seem relatively steep for smaller teams with tighter budgets.

Works good for me

Pros

What I appreciate most is how adaptable the platform is, it easily handles our changing recruitment needs, whether we're hiring more people or adjusting processes for different teams. The consistent updates show a real commitment to improvement. The interface is remarkably simple to use. Everything from creating job posts to managing candidates feels cohesive and well-structured. Security is another big Plus I feel confident handling sensitive applicant information here. Scheduling interviews is fast and efficient making it easy for our team to set up meetings even across multiple time zones. And whenever we have questions, customer support usually gets back to us in a reasonable time.

Cons

AI-powered components that have been added recently appear to hold considerable promise, yet in my experience they still require additional refinement to improve their precision and to grasp contextual nuances more consistently this is particularly true when it comes to matching candidates to roles and producing automated recommendations that feel genuinely relevant. I would welcome more options to tailor how the AI behaves for different recruiting approaches or job families because greater configurability would significantly increase its practical value. Another area where I see room for improvement is cross-functional functionality: currently our pipelines function effectively within discrete departments but I would find it extremely helpful if there were capabilities to connect or share candidate records and related data across multiple pipelines which would enable teams to collaborate more smoothly and prevent qualified candidates from becoming trapped inside a single workflow.

Organized tool

Pros

Visually soothing but automation's frustrating

Pros

I like the application's visual design which is gentle on the eyes and, in my view, a highly valuable characteristic and although it initially feels unfamiliar, I was able to become comfortable with its layout and features after roughly two days which I consider a very positive outcome.

Cons

The automation features frustratingly structured because they are difficult to tailor for different roles, they frequently fail in ways that require time-consuming troubleshooting and the initial configuration is not interactive making it harder than it should be to set them up.

A organised hiring workflow

Pros

I value the automation that helps organise the hiring workflow, including features like candidate self-scheduling, ongoing communication with applicants and the integrated AI capabilities that support these processes.

Cons

Although there is nothing specific I would complain about, I believe the AI could be made more accurate, for example, when we edit the job requirements, those edits are not reflected automatically in the AI matching feature and I would expect the two to sync.

a powerful tool

Pros

I find its ease of use and flexible interface, combined with AI-driven automation, extremely helpful, moreover the support and integrations teams have been outstanding.

Cons

Saves significant time for small teams

Pros

As a user, I've found Workable remarkably easy to install and operate and because it allows our compact team to oversee numerous recruiting workflows semi-automatically it has significantly reduced the amount of time we spend on hiring tasks, the initial configuration only required a couple of hours so I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Cons

I do notice a drawback in that once scheduling links are created they cannot be modified later which complicates rescheduling sometimes, additionally, I would appreciate an option to score or rate applicants for example with star ratings during the applied stage though I consider these points to be relatively small annoyances when weighed against the product's overall usefulness.

Simplifies hiring

Pros

Having rolled out Workable across a handful of startups, I've consistently experienced a platform that genuinely simplifies hiring, turning what used to be a time-consuming process into something much more manageable and effective. One major change for our teams has been the Slack integrations which have been transformative for our communication by pushing real-time updates about application progress and candidate milestones so that people don't need to keep switching back into the ATS to stay informed. The way the candidate pipeline is organized feels polished and dependable, enabling me to take detailed interview notes, advance applicants through stages and dispatch automated messages with minimal friction which together reduce administrative overhead and improve coordination. The automated interview scheduling feature alone has recovered multiple hours from our weekly routine by eliminating the endless email back-and-forth required to find mutually available times. And while the built-in email templates are solid from the outset, I value being able to modify them to reflect a particular role's nuances or our company voice which helps maintain a consistent and professional candidate experience.

Cons

I've noticed that certain parts of the interface can feel somewhat difficult, with features and menus hidden behind less obvious controls so that you often need to poke around to discover them which can be frustrating during initial setup. For example, the scheduler itself is a great utility for presenting calendar availability and cutting down on manual coordination but mastering the interface took a non-trivial amount of trial and error before I felt fully comfortable using it.

Its very user-friendly and I value that it allows me to tailor numerous elements while automating the workflow which organises recruiting tasks, their customer support team is consistently responsive and swift in resolving any problems I come across and the range of integrations they offer lets me consolidate all relevant information directly on a candidate's profile.

Cons

Worth the cost!

Pros

This application is extremely simple to operate and consistently performs its functions well when I consider the amount of time I save, the monthly fee is unquestionably justified.

Cons

The custom reporting is a bit complex. It's not terrible and I know I could get better with more practice but it's definitely not the simplest part of the platform to use

Easy to use but search could improve

Pros

As someone who uses the system regularly, I find the interface really easy to use and the texting feature is something I use often. Additionally, I'm glad that hiring managers can attach their interview feedback directly to candidate profiles which helps keep evaluations consolidated.

Cons

While I appreciate many aspects of the platform, the candidate search only queries the system's internal database which limits reach and the amount and quality of other users information could be better. I would also like to see more interactive, AI-driven search capabilities to surface more relevant matches efficiently.

Intuitive and a major time-saver

I find it to be extremely simple and quick to get up to speed with even for those who don't work in recruiting tools on a daily basis, I appreciate that it brings candidate profiles, messaging threads and scheduling into a single unified view and the collaborative tools help keep everyone on the hiring team coordinated while the ability to broadcast openings to multiple job sites with one click noticeably reduces administrative time.

Cons

That said, I've found some integrations and the reporting capabilities to be somewhat constrained and performing bulk operations can feel sluggish at times, additionally, I would welcome more granular control over notifications and reminders so that I can avoid overlooking critical updates.

A great collaborative hub

In my experience Workable's interface is exceptionally interactive, offering a tidy, board-style project management layout that makes navigating tasks easy, I frequently use it as a collaborative hub across our organization with multiple contributors and its powerful MS Outlook integrations simplify and organise scheduling both calls and interviews.

Cons

the metrics intended to monitor things such as time-to-hire and time-to-fill require further refinement because although the reporting tools themselves are simple to operate, the underlying definitions and formulas remain somewhat ambiguous which makes it difficult for me to trust their consistency across a wide range of roles. additionally the AI features currently in beta clearly need more development to improve their accuracy.

An excellent recruiting companion

Pros

As a regular user, I find Workable to be an smooth and remarkably user-friendly recruitment platform that simplifies every phase of the hiring lifecycle, from publishing a vacancy to completing the final onboarding step. Creating a job posting takes hardly any time and the system automatically syndicates the opening across a wide range of free job boards including NewJobs, LinkedIn, Google for Jobs, Talent.com, Indeed, Careerjet and Jooble as well as to premium channels when desired. All candidate applications are neatly aggregated under the specific job listing, with visible indicators that show exactly which board each applicant originated from which I find very helpful for tracking sourcing effectiveness. Because the interface is uncluttered and easy to use, even team members who only log in occasionally can pick it up quickly. Each position can be assigned to a Hiring Manager and shared with selected colleagues, fostering smooth collaboration throughout the screening and selection stages. Communication with candidates is simple whether I send bulk messages or tailor individual replies and arranging interviews is equally simple and well integrated. The platform keeps our recruitment workflow organized and saves us a considerable amount of time. I also make use of the built-in AI resume screening which assists in prioritizing applicants. Finally, their customer support consistently stands out for being responsive and efficient when I need help.

Cons

I have come across two limitations that affect our workflow, exporting CSV reports does not properly support the Greek language which complicates local reporting and data sharing and the AI tool used for resume screening is not infallible so I always perform a manual second review to ensure promising candidates are not missed.

A critical but complicated migration

Pros

I regard Workable as essential to our hiring workflow because it centralizes applicant tracking in a way that minimizes the risk of losing touch with candidates and allows me to oversee each stage of the process with ease from screening to offer. The requisitions and hiring-plan tools are features I rely on and although reporting is generally useful, it is sometimes only partially reliable. Furthermore the step-by-step onboarding experience significantly eased our transition and I've found customer support to be exceptionally responsive and helpful.

Cons

I struggled with the initial setup because migrating data from Greenhouse into Workable required handling thousands of candidate records and various scorecards which made the project extremely complicated and prolonged. That transfer was a mission-critical undertaking and ultimately dragged on for several months before we could consider it complete. Moreover, I have noticed the reports feature does not always deliver the data I need and on occasion shows inaccurate metrics which undermines confidence in those analytics. The referral program also proves inflexible, failing to adapt to several of our bespoke workflows and requirements when we attempt to configure it.
