“Great Tool For Law Firm

The best feature for me is the legal billing system. It helps me track my billable hours and expenses efficiently, and I can quickly generate accurate invoices for my clients. I also really like the AI document template generator. It has saved me so much time by creating legal templates with just a few clicks. This feature is a big time-saver, especially for repetitive tasks.
Cons
The only thing I would mention is that it took a little while to get used to all the options available. There’s a lot the software can do, and while it’s very powerful, the initial learning curve was a bit steep. However, once I figured it out, it became a lot easier to use.

Cons
It is essential to have multiple intake types available on the platform for different cases. This way, there is no need to adjust the intake forms to request case-specific information. In addition, the interface on the Apple app could use some upgrades.

What stands out most to me is the affordability, along with the capability to monitor hours effectively.
Cons
The latest system is disappointing. The fonts are oversized, things are hidden and not easily accessible, and overall it is extremely challenging to use and locate what you need.

So far, I have been able to use everything by myself, and it feels pretty intuitive. The final product, whether an invoice or bill, looks extremely professional. Since I currently only have one client, it does not make sense for me to pay for legal billing software. I am very thankful that CaseFox offers a permanently free option for those starting out with just a client or two. Once my client list grows, I will definitely subscribe. I am grateful for this choice!
Cons
I am still getting used to everything, but so far, the main issue I have encountered is editing time or expenses after they have been billed. I also ended up with multiple invoices I did not intend to create, although I was able to combine them. Still, they printed under separate headings.

Pros
Every time I have needed assistance or had a question about a report or feature, the support team has been outstanding. They have customized reports for me and fixed a few items when I mistakenly selected the wrong command.
Cons
My overall experience has been excellent. They have been quick to respond, and the reports I can generate help me immensely in managing the financial aspects of the business on a daily basis.

CaseFox offers all the features I would expect from any case management or billing software, but with a price point that is truly unmatched. This makes it feasible and sensible for a small or solo firm to adopt right away, learn the system, and scale as the practice grows.
Cons
It is hard to choose what I like the least because I have not found anything missing from CaseFox. The number of features, integrations, and customization options can be overwhelming at first. But, like with any software, it just takes time to get used to it. If I had to pick, maybe customizing the time code list? I am fairly certain that option exists, but I have not figured it out yet.

It is inexpensive, and that is about the only thing I can highlight.
Cons
I ran into an issue recently, and CaseFox's response was something like, "Do you even know how to use a computer?" Things went downhill from there. I called to talk to someone, but there was no response. Honestly, I hope you were hacked because this is embarrassing. You should be ashamed, CaseFox.

The reporting options are quite limited. For tax purposes, I need a revenue report by state, but CaseFox cannot generate this data. I have to download an Excel file and then manually check each client's location.

CaseFox is easy to grasp and start using, but do not expect much from customer service if you run into issues, it might just be enough reason to cancel.
Cons
Customer service is non-existent. No one is ever available to take a phone call, and emails about program errors go unanswered. If you are lucky enough to get a reply, it will be so condescending that you will be motivated to leave a review like this to let others know how terrible CaseFox and its support are.

What I love most about this software is how it handles financials, case load tracking, and record-keeping. It really improves my efficiency with invoicing and gives me a clear overview of everything happening in my practice from an accounting standpoint. The client information also helps me contact clients quickly without needing to pull out physical files.
Cons
The software automatically assigns a case number to every project, but sometimes there are duplicates. I have to manually check each case number to avoid duplication and assign new numbers myself.
