Several ways to access profiles

Pros

Found it quite user-friendly and I appreciate that there are several different ways to pull up the profiles of the people I'm working with.

Cons

I understand that privacy and information-sharing rules keep all providers from viewing each other's details but it would still be helpful to at least know which other agencies a person is or isn't connected with.

Better coordination for shared needs

Pros

One thing that really helps is how clearly we can share needs with the group which prevents duplication and makes it easier to match needs with the right support.

Cons

A limitation comes from the fact that some government agencies can't use the system. It's not really a problem with the platform itself but it still creates interruptions when the goal is to stay connected with everyone.

Participant tracking is great

Pros

Being able to monitor how our participants are progressing has been really valuable for our work.

Cons

It feels like we may be the only organization using the outcomes feature. We also do not distribute many material items since our focus is more on providing a hand up rather than a handout.

Pros

Switching from paper records to a web-based system feels very natural with CharityTracker because it includes everything needed to handle the work and can be customized to match the information you already have.

Cons

I find it easy to use although every now and then the information I need isn't located where I expect it to be.

Cons

It would be more useful if the first page of a file showed more detail such as the five most recent instances of assistance.

Shows how churches are helping people

Pros

The biggest benefit has been being able to see how other churches are helping people. Because we use CharityTracker, we can often tell when someone has recently received assistance from another church and is now coming to us asking for the same type of help which has been very useful.

Cons

There really is not anything that comes to mind that bothers us about it. It has worked very well for us and continues to function reliably.

It's a great tool for connecting people in the community with resources that fit a wide range of family and individual needs. It's a very useful platform to have when trying to locate support options and available services.

Cons
