“Everything about CloudLex is top-notch”
Pros
The document management features are excellent. The reports that are specifically designed to personal injury metrics are incredibly helpful. I would love to see more custom fields developed, though!
Cons
It's not that there's anything we dislike, but we are waiting for something, specifically, Clean Calendar Rules integration with personal Outlook calendar sync, hopefully by 2022!

“Super simple to operate!”
Pros
The software is very easy to work with. You can upload documents without any hassle and neatly organize them into folders.
Cons
I frequently get logged out and I wish that using the back button would take me directly to the previous screen instead of the home page.

“Could benefit from additional features”
Pros
It's great for managing my personal injury practice.
Cons
The messaging feature between employees could definitely use some updates. While it serves its basic purpose, I feel it lacks certain features that would make internal communication more efficient and organized.

“Easy to understand!”
Pros
The platform is easy to learn. We were up and running on the first day. We could easily manage and assign tasks while also tracking them. I also admire the notes that are very simple to access and use as well.
Cons
There is no instant messaging between users, and there's no QuickBooks integration.

“Perfect for small firms”
Pros
What I like most is that everything is cloud-based, making it easy to access from the phone app. It also integrates well with Word documents.
Cons
The file capacity is a bit low for us, but we've managed to use their archiver product to remove closed files from our matters.

“Secure and reliable”
Pros
CloudLex is incredibly dependable and simple to use. Within just five minutes of logging in for the first time, our secretaries were already getting things done with ease. The seamless Dropbox integration allows our attorneys to access their trial delivery software effortlessly. This is by far the most efficient and effective software we've ever used.
Cons
I have not come across any aspects of the software that we find problematic or unsatisfactory.

“Exceeds the expectations”
Pros
We were facing significant challenges with another provider, so a colleague from a neighboring jurisdiction suggested I try CloudLex. Interestingly, they had moved from the same vendor as we did. The transition to CloudLex has been smooth, the software works as advertised, and the service has been miles better than what I was used to. Fantastic product, excellent service.
Cons
We haven't find any issues yet, but that doesn't mean the software is perfect, we just haven't had any problems.

“Faultless product”
Pros
The software is very flexible and made specifically for Plaintiff's Personal Injury practices.
Cons
The layout of the software matches exactly what I would've designed if I had created it myself. There's very little, if anything, that I would change.

“Absolutely fantastic!”
Pros
This is hands down the best plaintiff's law firm software I've come across. The system's ease of use, interface, tracking and reporting features, task management, and customer service far outshine their competitors.
Cons
I can't think of a single thing! The software is smart and simple to use.

“proven the best for us”
Pros
It is very easy to use and it was simple to locate and explore the features. The platform is powerful and has completely transformed how our firm operates. Because of it, we're working much more efficiently and effectively than before.
Cons
One limitation is that form letters cannot be uploaded manually so help is needed to get that done.

“Best fit for PI firms”
Pros
After looking at a lot of cloud-based PI software, I honestly think it stands out as the best choice available. The support team has been excellent, the setup process was simple too and the pricing is affordable. Overall it is a really great option and hard to go wrong with this tool.
Cons
The only limitation is that it doesn't support hourly billing and is only set up for contingency cases.

“powerful for reporting”
Pros
One of the best parts is the details tab especially the medical bills timeline and medical records, along with the reporting features.
Cons
It's still developing so a few functions were missing at the beginning. Still, once those features are added, the system becomes extremely powerful when used well.

It works really well for personal injury firms because it covers most of the needs and common issues that come up in accident cases and it's easy to use.

“Outstanding PI document organization”
Pros
One thing CloudLex gets exceptionally right for PI practice is bringing documents such as medical records, wage records, damages files and similar materials together with the related data, then making those documents searchable and indexable within that data context. I have not seen another legal management platform handle that piece nearly as well. The result is excellent organization and much stronger data management overall. The merge document feature is also very amazing and I really value that it is built directly into the platform instead of depending on outside integrations. That native approach is one of the strongest parts of it in general. I'd love to see the tool continue to evolve with more delivery options and the ability to merge directly as a PDF but that feels more like a future enhancement than a real problem. Customer support has been the best I have dealt with and I have used three other cloud-based systems before this. The broader product direction also feels very promising especially with plans for an integrated intake app, referral network and client communicator. The fact that the team wants to build those features natively into the system is something I really respect.
Cons
A few custom data fields would be helpful even though I understand the reasoning behind keeping that limited. Coming from a Salesforce background, I also miss being able to trigger workflows automatically based on specific actions or events instead of having to turn those workflows on separately.

“The switch was not a hassle”
Pros
Moving to CloudLex was a very stress free process. The support team has been excellent throughout and the platform feels well tailored to personal injury work. It also connects nicely with several other platforms we already use which adds a lot of value. Overall it has been an excellent investment.
Cons
There are still a few more automated features that need to be set up or programmed in but with the strong support team behind it, it hasn't been too time-consuming to handle.

Pros
It is very easy to use and the setup really fits the needs of a law practice that represents the person bringing the case. I also like that the team listens to user feedback and regularly rolls out improvements.
Cons

“Really useful for tracking”
Pros
Working in the cloud and having free support has been a huge plus especially since I no longer have to make calls to hourly support. It does a lot in one system and gives me plenty of ways to keep track of my cases. One feature I really enjoy is the welcome screen, where I can quickly see how many cases I have signed up each month.
Cons
One thing I'd still like to see improved is the file review process. After opening a case, I have to go back to the top of the list and scroll down all over again which gets frustrating. That said they update the product regularly so I wouldn't be surprised if this gets addressed soon.
