Having everything in one system has really tightened up our workflow and made client management much more manageable. CloudLex does an excellent job of bringing communication, document storage and task management together in one place. The real-time updates keep everyone on the same page and being able to quickly check what stage each case is in has saved me hours that used to go toward follow-up emails and constant back-and-forth.
Cons
I wish the notes section had a way to pin important notes or at least organize them into categories. Also on an iPad, you have to use it through a browser because there's no dedicated app which makes it less convenient than it should be.

Also the platform is pretty simple and user-friendly which I absolutely adore. My favorite part is how it brings communication, file storage and task lists together in a single, seamless space. I have stopped wasting time switching between different apps to find information as it is all right there, well-organized and ready whenever I need it. Collaborating with my team is also far more efficient now. We are all on the same page with live updates and I can check a cases status in an instant, saving me from sending endless emails. Overall it has genuinely made my work quicker, simpler and far more structured.

Honestly there is nothing about it that bothers me. As I said before, the software is just so simple and easy to get along with.

According to me the task feature needs an update to display the assigned persons name or initials right next to the priority label like P1 on the left side. As this would save us from clicking into every single task to see who is responsible. Also we should be able to choose which folder an attached file goes into when we add it to a note, task or calendar event.

Getting into the program is really convenient and the support team is great at addressing our tickets. I also find it helpful that we can copy or move documents between different cases.
Cons
Many tools like the PDF editor, texting, LexSign, QuickBooks link and E-Fax, need upgrades or do not exist yet. Also it is frustrating having to enter the same details across different tabs instead of having them consolidated. The process of downloading a file just to re-upload it wastes a lot of time and we'd love the option to create and customize our own templates.

My favorite thing is how user-friendly CloudLex is as anyone who can use a smartphone app can pick it up quickly and since it is cloud-based, I can get to my files from any device at any time which makes my job so much more flexible.
Cons
The biggest frustrations were the inadequate training and unhelpful support, which made it difficult to learn the software and fit it into our daily routine. Also using an iPad is a hassle because you have to use a browser with no dedicated app. The notes section is also too basic as you cannot recover deleted notes or sort them properly and having to download documents to edit them is a major downside.

Transitioning to a new system was quite a hurdle for our firm. We have staff members who've been with us for over a decade and others who are relatively new. Naturally, switching systems posed a challenge for everyone, as we've all been used to doing things a certain way for years. Migrating our current cases was particularly difficult due to the volume of files we had in our old system. The Cloudlex team did their best, but unfortunately, not all of our cases were transferred by our go-live date. I feel like my communication with the Cloudlex rep on the migration side was a bit lacking. If we had more interactions, I believe we could have addressed these migration issues before the go-live, making the transition smoother for both my team and myself as the project lead.
