Copilot

The Researcher agent handles multistep research questions and then creates a structured report with cited sources. It collects information from the web, accounts in use, from files, emails, meetings, and chats which are also already accessible to users. The reports it generates include organized sections, charts, and visuals for better understanding.

Notebooks feature functions as a dedicated project workspace, bringing together chat logs, documents, pages, meeting notes, and web links in a central hub. The software answers questions and writes drafts using these saved materials, while team members can share the notebook to collaborate in real time.

The Analyst feature serves as an assistant for reviewing data. Users can ask questions about attached spreadsheets, CSV files, or databases, and the software calculates numbers, identifies trends, and highlights unexpected data points. It provides plain-text reports that include data charts and tables.

The Cowork feature carries out tasks on a user's behalf, such as sending emails, creating documents, scheduling meetings, and searching across an organization. The tool requests user approval before carrying out any sensitive actions. It also allows the users to set up recurring prompts that run on an automated schedule.

Copilot Pages turns a Copilot Chat response into content that can be edited and shared. Chat and the page open side by side, so users can ask Copilot to add or update content, and colleagues can work on the same page in real time.
